Our team are knowledgable in all aspects of Hydroseeding and we pride ourselves on delivering high quality work to our customers.

What we do
Hydroseeding provides a cost effective way for our customers to have that nice lush lawn. When compared to ready lawn / instant turf, hydroseeding can be applied quicker, growth is more even, and offers mositure to the seed, thus less likely to dry out.

When comparing hydroseeding to old fashioned sowing methods (dry seeding), hydroseeding is only a little more expensive but provides faster results. The hydroseeded mixture provides the perfect environment for the seed to grow and there is less chance of the seed drying out, being eaten by birds, or being washed away with rain.

Seed is applied within a protective mulch which provides the perfect environment for the seed to establish itself and grow. The seed is applied directly to the environment in which it is expected to grow, where as ready lawn / instant turf is grown elsewhere and then transported to a foreign environment and expected to grow.

"I am so pleased and impressed with the service of this company I would certainly recommend them. We had a tropical storm three days after the lawn been sprayed on. They kept intouch with advice and a week later when they were in the area came in to do a quick patch up where seed had been washed away. This was bad luck with weather, but we could still see that in areas that were not affected by this storm the grass was peeking through in 6 days."

"Cameron came sprayed seed on my new back yard where we had prepared the ground as recommended by A Good Turf Co using a good quality topsoil. A week after it was sprayed I could see a green tinge of grass covering the area and made sure I watered regularly as instructed by Cameron. After 3 weeks the grass was really good and the colour is a lush dark green. I fertilised at this stage as I was told to with fertiliser I bought from Bunnings as recommended by the sales person. After 5 weeks my husband gave it a light mow not cutting it too short and it is looking amazing. It has now been 8 weeks and I fertilised again and my lawn is lovely and thick and I had a picnic on it last weekend with my grandchildren. Thank you A Good Turf for giving us a lovely area to spend time with our grandchildren."

"After months of patches where grass did not grow at all, the owner agreed to part ways, but the very next morning Cam the owner came over to our property and sprayed roundup on our entire lawn, I caught him on camera doing this"

"We hydroseeded the lawn in October and the client was given after care and maintenance instructions as well as verbally being told how to look after his new hydroseeded lawn. The client did not follow the watering instructions and did not keep off the lawn as instructed. The client never got in touch with us about “problems” with his lawn until we chased him for Payne t of his invoice. We went and viewed the lawn, let him know what he was doing wrong and even did a free fertiliser treatment as a sign of good will. He agreed to pay his invoice before we left his site however the payment was never made. 2 weeks later we chased him for payment and he told us there was a new problem with the lawn all of a sudden - with weeds. We again went out to do a treatment on the weeds and left extra seed for him at no extra cost. Again he said he would pay his bill but nonpaynent was received. He then blackmailed us saying if we did not come and re-do his entire lawn he was going to leave negative feedback on this website and Facebook. We stupidly agreed to do this for him in the interest of making him happy however after we weed sprayed the lawn in preparation for new hydroseeding he then contacted us and told us he did not want us at his property and then tried to say we had malicious intent to damage his lawn. Even after this we said we would still be happy to finish what we started if he could confirm he would pay his original invoice and he declined. At this point we felt we had done all we could and the client was no longer wanting to find a solution so we parted ways. The offer to sort his lawn was given but he did not want to do that. We have since found out we aren’t the only ones that did work for this client and did not get paid."

helpful !! When I was concerned about it being patchy at first the guy came and had a look and recommended fertilising it - worked a treat and he also saud he would come back and sort it if I wasn’t happy ! Which I am"

"I phoned Shane about 3 weeks before Christmas after being let down by another contractor. Despite the busy time of year and despite the work I needed doing being only a small seeding area Shane and Good Turf treated me like a valued customer from the outset, giving me excellent advice re prepping, plenty of clear communication and carrying out the work with 10 days as advised. On the day, the contractor called to let me know he was on his way, turned up on time and carried the work out quickly & professionally and left me with a care advice sheet to get the best out of my lawn. You guys really came to the rescue and provided first class service - thank you!!"
