"I absolutely love my new kitchen! After 25 years in our home, the kitchen was worn out, and the transformation is incredible. Vinu & Donita were a huge help in designing both the functionality and the look/colour choices. They provided lots of information on aspects of the kitchen that were extras such as splash back material options and appliance procurement . Additionally, I opted for the project management service, which I highly recommend! I travel every week for my business, so it made the process so much easier. Absolute organised, from their solid network of trades, the electrician, plumber, stone fabricator, glass splash back installer, floor sanding company and builder. The tradies were fantastic."

"I met with Marion to discuss how to make my kitchen more user-friendly as, with knee problems, I was having difficulty accesssing the pantry and cupboards plus it was quite tired. Marion came up with a new design using easy to access drawers and shelving. Once we decided on the plans everything went smoothly, Marion communicated with me throughout the process, gave excellent advice on colour, benchtop etc and the guys who installed the kitchen were super efficient and professional. "We now have a beautiful new kitchen thanks to Marion, Malcolm and their team. Our kitchen was due to be installed but then was delayed due to the 6 week lock down Auckland was in. Within an hour of announcing Auckland was moving to Level 3, Marion was in contact to say they were planning when the kitchen will be done. The kitchen was installed as soon as it was able to and it looks really beautiful. Marion was quick to work through a couple of small issues that came up and was very easy to be in contact with."

"This company made it easy for me. Marion's professionalism shone through and she managed all the contractor and made sure if there was an issue this was resolved. "I am absolutely thrilled with my new kitchen. Right from the start Marion was easy and knowledgeable to deal with. Nothing was an issue or too difficult.She arranged everything from the removal of the old kitchen to the tradies . She had contacts when I decided to change the flooring, and purchase new appliances., even the tiling of the splashback.

"They've actually done the kitchen in our rental house more than a year ago. I normally don't bother to put comments unless really unhappy with the result. I recently contacted Marion and the team to request to check on warranty. They responded accordingly and efficiently - minor issues repaired promptly.

"Our laundry needed renovating, and also setting up to function as a temporary kitchen while that was replaced. Marion and Malcolm stood out because they returned our call and then never let the communications slip. We talked through what we wanted and Malcolm made it work for us. We have an older house with walls that are far from perfect, but Steve and Nathan installed it when it was promised, the laundry fitted well and works beautifully for us. Very happy with the price too. They were all great people to work with, so on the basis of our laundry, we gave them the Kitchen work as well."

"I chose Absolute Kitchens based on their No Cowboys feedback for an 'extreme makeover' of my kitchen and I am so, so glad I did. I am so impressed by the professionalism that Marion and team showed every step of the way. They had great ideas, patiently answered my many questions, and from start to finish were clearly very focused on great customer service. They were also very focused on getting the job done quickly - no lengthy delays between one step and the next - and had everything very well planned out.
What I really appreciated too was that they offered to project manage the work, which was incredibly helpful - they also gave me great advice as to when I needed to make decisions or plan for certain steps. "What a daunting process it is to renovate a kitchen , to try find the best design for your family yet not spend a fortune on the process. Absolute Kitchens was amazing at helping us with all of that. Marion was just fantastic at recognising what would work with our family and helping us make it a reality. We ended up changing our plans a few times, non of that was to much hassle for them. They always kept us in the loop with where they were at with making the kitchen. "The quality of workmanship is outstanding. The problem I have with my kitchen is Marion measured it wrong. I asked for the same floor plan/size as my old kitchen yet Marion measured it, on one side, 22cm too short, and sadly I look at that everyday and to this day (over 1 year after installation) I am still not happy. Price was good, service was good, kitchen quality is good. Where I was let down was when I received the email quote with drawing of my proposed new kitchen there were no measurements in that email, and when I went to view my new kitchen in the factory there was nothing to base size on, so in both those instances I didn't see it was too short. I only noticed the size when it was being installed, and by then it was too late. Marion said she would see what she could do, although I realised there was nothing could be done, but she never got back to me. It seemed once they had my money I was just forgotten."

"We are really pleased with our new kitchen! Marion was able to visit within a few days of my first phone call and had a quote ready for us less than a week later. The quote was detailed and accurate unlike other companies who would only offer a quote if we agreed to go with them. Marion kept in contact (without being pushy) while we took a really long time to make a decision about Kitchen companies. We had some changes to make to our original plan and this was no hassle to do. Even finishing touches such as drawer inserts, which were done on completion, were treated as really important decisions and were ready for us really fast. We used a builder recommended by them and had no concerns with the quality of his work. There was also good communication between them which made things easy. We used our own Electrician and this worked out absolutely fine. Marion was always really quick to respond to questions and followed up on any queries I had, even after our final payment had been made. It was great being able to see our new kitchen at their workshop before installation and choose the handles and have Malcolm talk us through everything. I'd definitely recommend Absolute Kitchens."

"I hope there is enough room on here to allow me to say exactly what I think of Absolute Kitchens......AMAZING!!!!. When we first met Marion, we were only expecting to update our kitchen a little as we had a very small budget to work with.
What we have ended up with is an amazing NEW kitchen that all of our family and friends are envious of....and it was so reasonably priced that it worked within our budget!!!!. I am now the proud owner of 2 pantries...so many cupboards and draws...and so much bench space!.
Marion was so easy to talk to, she listened to all of our ideas, gave us her advice as this was all new to us, and did not at any point try and get us to have something or do something that was going to go over our budget. She then went away, then emailed us our draft picture and quote and we were sold!!.
Then her hubby came and measured it up, gave us some advice about the kickboards (brilliant advice by the way) and we really felt looked after. That they were looking out for our best interests...not theirs. we felt Safe and in good hands.
I asked for an addition and some other things and Marion happily sorted it out for me, nothing was too much bother. It was even finished earlier than expected. I love the fact that they get you to go and view the kitchen in their warehouse before its installed, to view.
Thank you so much guys....we have been telling everyone to go to you guys, and we will definitely be using you guys again (to do our hot water cupboard boards soonish). I highly recommend them if you want the job done on time, on budget, and with many years experience. Good sound advice, and can work with all budgets..big or small. Very honest people!!! :):):)"

"Malcolm visited our home and made recomendation re kitchen, including demolishing a wall, drew up plans (which were also helpful for plumber and electrician). We visited factory to view cabinets while being made. Malcolms team arrived on date advised and installed cabinerts. One "small" glitch was fixed following day. Happy with our new kitchen, comments from friends and family very favorable. Hopefully we will not need another kitchen but will recommend Marion and Malcolm to others.
Now after six months NO complaints at all as it still looks great. All cupboard doors, drawers and time saving cupboard pull out shelves work tip top. No problem in upgrading my rating. Thanks Absolute Kitchens."

"The company was able to give me a new kitchen on the budget I had and were great on suggestions ect.
I had looked and been to other kitchen places but most only draw your kitchen and get someone else to make it up but this company does it all themselves from drawing to installing so no surprises.
Others had modules and so you are limited to sizes none of them worked for me as galley kitchen space was narrowl,
As it was NOT a kitset modual and was made and assembled on site it fitted well no gaps ect as house is not a new place and floors & walls would not have been square.
I went to work leaving a old kitchen and came home to a new one.
They also sorted plumber ect all out too.
AND THEY EVEN TOOK THE OLD KITCHEN AWAY!!!"

"My first communication with Marion & Malcolm from Absolute Kitchens was one that made both myself & my client feel at ease & think\" these people know what they are talking about\".
Marion arrived at the job site as arranged & after discussions on what the client was looking at having & the feasibility, measurements were taken & within 2 days we had received the visual diagram & price for the job.
After the go ahead was given both Marion & Malcolm were in touch all the way through the build. Any question asked was not a problem & when the time came to view the kitchen in the factory we were more than happy. The insulation was done without any bother to after parties working on the site & looks fantastic.

Malcolm and Marion kept me informed throughout the process about what was happening. In the couple of instances where I was not happy, they were quick to fix the problem.
A couple of areas where communications could be improved:
- The final kitchen design, with actual measurements on it, was never provided to me. I got slightly more bench and slightly less pantry than I expected.
- A brochure from the company supplying the actual fittings such as the corner cupboard units was not provided and again, misunderstanding would have been avoided had I had that at the beginning.
Let me reiterate - I would definitely recommend Absolute Kitchens and I am very happy with the end result."

3 months agoWe asked Vinu from Absolute Kitchens to refresh a tired kitchen - before the sale of a rental property. She listened to our situation and needs and came up with a great design. It was built and installed very quickly and looked it fabulous. It certainly helped with the quick sale of the property.
We were surprised that it was more cost effective than a flat pack kitchen, a far higher quality and being custom built, it fitted perfectly.
I've recommended Vinu to a friend, and we've now asked her to design the kitchen in our own home. We couldn't be happier and recommend the Absolute Kitchen team without hesitation. -

Ensured they delivered on time. Hats off to Mone’s (hope I have spelled it correctly)quick thinking and problem solving skills. Priyanth for sticking to his promise of agreed delivery date. Thanks to Vinu for the multiple trips that she took to ensure measurements and color combos were correct. -
a year agoNew owners are terrible, constantly damaged the wooden floors, ceiling and after 7 visits to try and fix the terrible workmanship we told them never to come back .
Cupboard doors were not made to the correct size, they also didn't see anything wrong with doors and panels being too small. -
10 months agoOur daughter’s kitchen was very recently remodelled by Absolute Kitchens. Right from the start, we absolutely ( no pun intended! ) had an excellent experience as they helped us with everything from listening well to our needs and budget to completing it within the tight timeframe. Everything from appliances to zooming in on the smallest details was ironed out to our greatest satisfaction. Our daughter is thrilled with the end result and loves cooking and spending time in her new kitchen! A huge thanks to Vinu and her excellent team. What an absolute pleasure it has been to deal with you all!
