"Brendan has done an outstanding job painting the entire exterior of my house and some interior work. His workmanship has been exceptional, replacing weatherboards as he went. People say it looks like a new house now and it is 40 years old Thorough,precise and quality work.Went to the trouble of fixing a leak in the roof as well of other smaller repairs on the way. "Brendan was outstanding. I was very impressed with his craftsmanship, high attention to detail , reliability and quality finish. He definitely knows his profession.

He painted the exterior of my home, my chimney, pergola, driveway and garden wall. Everything was completed to the highest standard. He repaired cracks, fixed a leaky concrete wall and even cleaned my windows afterwards, including a high internal window. He went well beyond my expectations.

"I couldn’t speak higher about the excellent work Brendan had completed for us. He is a very experienced painter and has sharp eyes. He wanted every detail to be done as it needed to be. He has helped us problem-solve and fix many places without further charge. On the first visit, he pointed out that our gutter was out of place and our joinery metal plates needed to change into stainless steel. He helped us correct all of these on top of his painting job. His work is so efficient from his over 40 years of painting experience. He completed the entire outside of our bungalow-style house in a perfect time frame, given we had gone through a wet summer with lots of rain. He worked with us on colours and was happy to guide us and accommodate our last-minute request of slightly tuning the deck colour. After a month of work, our whole family has been influenced by his happy spirit. My toddler now has a painter’s hat and loves holding a paintbrush to paint and calling out for uncle Brendan. All my neighbours praised how good his work was. I highly recommend Brendan without hesitation if anyone asks me to recommend a painter."

"After selecting one of the most reasonable of quotes we found Brendan to be totally competent and reliable while completing the exterior preparation and staining of our 3-level, 5-bedroom house. We were overseas for most of the procedure and Brendan kept us fully informed of progress, complete with photographs, so we could have peace of mind while on holiday. Once home Brendan was a pleasure to deal with, no extra requests were too difficult and were carried out promptly. "Brendan was totally reliable and punctual. He was helpful with regards to requests for help with colour schemes and changes that needed to be discussed . I felt comfortable with leaving him in the house to get on with his work while I was out. And I did not have a great deal of tidying up afterwards.He seemed to work efficiently as the amount of painting and renovating did not seem to take as long as I had thought it would. Nothing was too much trouble .I was pleased he found a shower to fit a small bathroom, as a previous builder had said it was impossible to get. And another builder had wanted me to find the shower /bath etc, so it was a relief to find someone who was willing to do that, I would recommend him for any painting renovating work."

"Earlier this month, Brendan took on the job of completely redoing a "cowboy's" terrible paint job on the exterior of our home's doors and windows. This was a fiddly job, with 12 - 24+ small panes of glass in each window/door, on a large two story home. We were impressed with Brendan's planning, efficiency, tidiness and attention to detail. All queries regarding prep and painting (both before and during the job) were answered cheerfully and knowledgeably. As an "at home" mum, I appreciated the balance he struck between keeping to himself and quietly getting on with his work, yet still being approachable and friendly. Towards the end of the job, Brendan invited us to go over his work and let him know of any issues/areas that needed to be remediated. We had ample time over a weekend to do this, and provided a list of minor touch ups on the Monday. Brendan happily ticked through the list (and even added some items of his own) before cleaning up and leaving for his next job. This is a painter who encourages client feedback and takes pride in delivering good quality work. We will be getting back in touch for the next job :)"

"Our house had not been painted for 18 years and was in desperate need of attention. We had peeling paint, exposed pink primer, crazed paint and rotted timber in places. We were fortunate to get Brendan on the job, as he took the time to sand to the base boards, fill holes, re-putty windows, advise where facia and weather board repairs were necessary (and undertake some of this himself). Brendan was helpful and accommodating in every way and very understanding when we changed our mind on the house colour after doing the first wall! We would highly recommend BJ McWilliams Painters and have already booked Brendan to paint our upcoming house extension."

"We got onto Brendon about 4 years ago to do some paper hanging. He did a great job with it and we couldn't believe as fast & accurate he was. He is nice person and you can trust him in your house.
He is a fast worker, tidy and gets on with the job.
Since the paperhanging we have had Brendon paint some of our house interior and he has just recently done some exterior painting for us too.
He puts good effort into the preparation and does a lovely job with the brush. Would highly recommend."

"I have known Brendon McWilliams now for 10years. He was recommended to me by a friend as I was looking for a good tradesman to paint the outside of my house.
Brendon did such a good a job painting the exterior that I employed him again a couple of years later to do the inside as well. They were both big jobs and he was a top performer. He consistently exceeded all expectations - supplying competitive quotes, carrying out good quality work, arriving on time and always cleaning up at the end of the job.
During a family emergency he never let me down, (his wife passed away unexpectedly but Brendon carried on and finished my job on time). He is hard working and proactive, and is very helpful in recommending solutions to issues as they arise. He resealed my leaking windows and re-gibed a wall that was damp.
I am very happy to recommend Brendon."

"Painted our lounge ceiling while we were away - and it looks amazing. He repaired a fairly large crack and hung plastic drops over all the walls then he sprayed it. It looks amazing. It has a very high quality finish. The 'line' between the ceiling and the wall was particularly crisp, which was a great touch to make it a distinctive job. Quality work perhaps sl higher price than cheaper painters and we did use a friend/labourer painter in another room to save $, but the difference is really noticeable. If the finish matters to you - use this guy!
Also painted our exterior and assisted (patiently) with colour selection - which we are very happy with."
