"Eric and his lads did such a great job painting the whole exterior of our house. Eric liased with our neighbors as they wanted theirs done too, and organised a good builders to replace all the rottem trims. Eric's communication is very good and we always knew we were in good hands.

"We used Eric a few years back to paint a bedroom for us, and were more than happy to use him again to paint our badly peeling house. Eric is friendly, professional, flexible, easy to deal with and gets on with the job. When the weather wasn't ideal for painting outside, Eric & Sam were very happy & had the flexibility to paint our '70's brown wooden interior doors a fresh white at reasonably short notice. Eric was also happy to oblige when we decided to re-paint the roof while he was… working on the exterior. We look forward to having Eric back again to do some more finishing work on our exterior, and I'm sure we can find some more bits and pieces for him to do too!"

"I had an urgent requirement to have my bedroom ceiling painted after using candles that left soot throughout. Not having any contacts for a painter in Wellington, I cold called Eric after a quick google search. He was over the next evening to look at the room and provided advice on how he'd resolve the issue. I found Eric to be friendly, honest and genuine. "Eric dis a wonderful job of completely painting the exterior of our 1930s bungalow. It was a tricky job - old houses are far from straightforward - but he regularly touched base with us about our options to solve all the little problems we came across. He integrated well with other tradespeople we had on the job, and his advice and project management skills were very much appreciated. Great price, great workmanship, great bloke. "Eric Burke and his team painted the exterior of my house recently. Eric’s quote was detailed in its description of the work to be done and I was pleased to see that Resene paint would be used. The house is one and a half storeys on a hillside and it was helpful to me that Eric arranged for the scaffolder and he also engaged a builder to make some minor repairs. Eric communicated clearly from the time I received the quote until the work was completed and he began the job when he said he… would. I was impressed with his team of painters who were always courteous and friendly and were careful in their preparation, painting and tidying up. I would be happy to have them paint my house again."

"Very happy with the plastering and painting that was done by Burke painters. Eric came and quoted the job, he was polite and friendly and the price was very reasonable compared to other quotes we had received. They turned up on time consistently, were very efficient and considerate with dust and noise especially given it was mid winter and we had a baby in the house. The workmanship is excellent, they were super tidy (not a drop of paint where it shouldn’t be - no mess at all) and even helped… out with recommending colours when I was lost as to what to choose. Would highly recommend Burke painters and would definitely get them back again"

"Eric and his crew painted the outside of our house this summer. Eric also got quotes for and coordinated the builder to do repairs and scaffolding to be installed. We are very happy with the job done, communication with Eric was excellent and Eric and his crew were easy to have around. "I contacted Eric about some work in my apartment. I wanted it done urgently and as he was preparing to head overseas for a wedding he visited the apartment, provided a quote and the next week James arrived to start and finish the job in 2.5 days - prepping and painting a large bedroom, bathroom and hallway. The finished product was perfect, James checked in frequently, and said I could call over the weekend if anything about the job wasn't up to standard and he would return to address it. I… would very readily recommend Eric and James who are now on my list of people to call when I need more work done."

"Eric Burke of Burke Painters with his assistant painted our interior window frames after our house was completely doubled glazed. The painting had to be of a high and accurate standard as the paint couldn't spill onto the rubber seals. Eric achieved this and the end result was perfect. Eric then repaired, sanded and painted five ceiling as extra work. Once again the work was perfect. Eric and James cleaned up every… evening before leaving, hard to tell they had been in the house during the day. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend them."
