Based on architectural plans, Martin provided us with a… competitive fixed price quote for the building work. We paid for additional work (over and above the fixed quote) only once we had agreed with Martin for that work to be completed.

Martin is an experienced and extremely well organised builder and project manager of house renovations. He employs skilled builders and excellent subcontractors and works alongside and manages them very well. Martin has a can-do attitude and always presented us with practical solutions to any building problem that arose during the building process. He also worked well with our architect as was necessary. He has a good working relationship with WCC building inspectors.

Given the scale of the work we were amazed how he managed the disruption. The crew tidied everything away each evening and cleaned up,… Martin was always easy to contact and happy to accommodate our design changes, and the overall attention to detail was faultless. Often overlooked - CHP use really good, trustworthy subcontractors too, and the sparky, plumber etc have remained in our contacts list to use again.

I must say right from the beginning consultation right through to the final completion, CHP and in particular Martin and Sam have been absolutely wonderful to work with.

We moved away while he was building our extension (large extension & deck to a 1930 villa) and everyweek I\'d get a progress report along with photographs and was kept fully informed at all times. There were no surprises and any amendments were fully documented… and agreed.
