"Ross is a real repair guy who absolutely knows what he is doing, and charges a very reasonable price for his sevices. Fixed our F&P oven that had a temperature control failure (only a few years old) and did the job quickly and well in a very short space of time over the holiday period. Found a reasonably priced part rather than buying through F&P, and hopefully this will last better than the cheap piece of junk originally poorly fitted by the F&P factory."

"Called Ross as a local serviceman and he arrived exactly when he said he would.
Ross knew immediately what was faulty in our fridge/freezer and took it apart and repaired it without the need of parts.
Entire job was completed in 30 minutes and the price was very fair.

"Very poor communication. After an initial enquiry the workman turned up out of the blue not giving me an opportunity to check my dishwasher in advance.

Since the appliance had now dried out it started working when it was turned on with no work required. Then I was invoiced over 100 dollars complete with a threatening text when bill was questioned.

Do not recommend."

"Ross followed up my phone message promptly, was in the area and called in to evaluate the problem with our freezer. Sussed it out quickly but needed to order a part. As soon as the part arrived he was back at our place and had the freezer running, tested and signed off in about 30 minutes. Really knows his stuff and his charges were very modest. When he heard our other freezer had broken drawfronts, he delivered 3 replacements for free. What more can you ask for?"

"We would not use this company again as we found that Ross grossly inflated the replacement cost for a stove element. We had used him a few years previously for the same product and the element cost was $60. His current bill for the same element was now $180 and when asked to recheck his costing he advised that his prices had gone up and his invoice was correct.
I could not believe such a common element would cost three times as much and checking online with local appliance suppliers was given current prices of $73 - $75. Fisher & Paykel the suppliers also confirmed these costs.
Ross did not reply when advised of the above costs and we would not recommend his services."

"Cannot recommend Ross highly enough! We have used his services twice now. For an expensive dishwasher, and a fridge. Both times he saved us a fortune, as we thought we’d need to buy new appliances. "This is the fourth time Ross has sorted out problems for our family, his service is outstanding and workmanship excellent. He has always come very promptly, always on the day we contact him, solves the problem then or returns as soon as he has sourced the parts we need. This time we had to wait several weeks for parts to arrive due to supply issues - he left the freezer intact enough that we could use it as an emergency back up over Xmas which was much appreciated. His costs are very fair, and he has never charged us mileage even tho' we live rurally. Highly recommended!"

"I dont usually write comments but felt this man deserves me taking the time to do so. Ross fixed our washing machine at Omaha. To save us money, he waited until he had parts before driving to Omaha so that we didnt have to pay for two trips like you do with F&P. He called me when he arrived and called me after to advise what the problem was and said he was pleased he could save us the price of a new pump! He is diligent, friendly and extremely good value for money. I would highly recommend him and would only use him for any whiteware repairs. Thanks heaps Ross."

"Ross is a terrific operator: punctual, knowledgeable, fast, efficient, well-equipped and affordable. We've used his services on several occasions and wouldn't hesitate to recommend him. This time, he quickly diagnosed the problem with our aging F&P dishwasher and restored it to its full working glory through the extraction of a couple of bits of plastic that had somehow ended up in the spray arm?! Then on to the Simpson clothes drier which had suddenly stopped ... again, quick diagnosis: overloading which had tripped the safety cut-out. I also love it that Ross educates [in layman's language] as he repairs. Great service!"

"Ross was very prompt with his service - I rang in the morning and he said he was waiting for some parts that he thought might fix our machine, and would let me know once he could check if they had arrived at lunchtime. He phoned early afternoon and came straight out with the part that he suspected was the problem. There was a bigger issue with the power supply and he tested both of our houses for the low voltage, put the new part in and ran the machine to check it worked. He took the time to explain about low voltage and the further problems it would cause, and that we should contact Vector immediately to get it rectified. Armed with his information we had Vector out here within 45 minutes. I have just received his invoice and am pleasantly surprised at the reasonable cost - I highly recommend Callaghan Appliances and have saved their details for our next whiteware problem. My daughter whose machine it was was absolutely delighted with his service - she has a toddler and few day old baby - and uses cloth nappies so the machine is her lifeline!! Many thanks Ross."

"This is the second time we have used this company and their level of service is exemplary, let me explain. Ross called in response to a message I left on his phone, to arrange a time to visit. He arrived on time and inspected the fridge. He found it need a new fan part in the freezer compartment. He left to obtain the part. He phoned again a day or two later to say he had found a part but was not sure it was correct and would need to try it out. Again he arrived right on the agreed time! The part did not fit. He left to seek the correct part. He phoned again a day or so later to say that he had located the last remaining part for that model in NZ, and arranged a time to visit. He arrived on time again! He fitted the part and the fridge was restored to full working order. Thats not all, wait there is more! The invoice was very reasonable, considering there were three visits to Gulf Harbour and difficulties in obtaining the correct part and he gives a Grey Power discount too! As I said EXEMPLARY SERVICE!"

"I contacted Ross to obtain a quote for new fridge doors for my F&P double door fridge that had been damaged and the insurers wanted to look into door replacement. Ross phoned his suppliers, called me back and emailed me all within a few hours even though it ended up being fruitless and of no financial gain to Ross or his company. This is true customer service and earns great kudos in my estimation. Thanks Ross, I will be back if I need appliance help again."
