"Steven's teams were fantastic.
The scaffies arrived on schedule. The painters made extraordinary progress and were really respectful around the property. The painters worked around our builders who were replacing a couple of windows at the same time. Steven's scaffolding team were great about coming back, once the painting was finished, to adjust the scaffolding to allow for a guttering replacement. Then returning again to remove the scaff.
Their pricing was competitive, and CHS was referred to us by a work colleague who was also really impressed with their work on her house.

Wouldn't hesitate to engage these guys again.

"Can't rate highly enough. Competitive quote. Super flexible to our requirements. We had whole house painted inside and out after insulation and double glazing were upgraded. "Complete Home Painting and Scaffolding have just finished painting our 2 storey weatherboard and plaster home. Right from the start the communication was prompt and professional. They started on time and even with a few days of bad weather finished as scheduled.

The whole team were punctual, respectful of our property (kept gates closed as we have dogs) and worked really hard to complete the project. The quality of the workmanship was fantastic and now our house looks fresh and vibrant.

"Cindy ran the job to do a complete exterior repaint of my 2 storey 1950s house. She and Steven back at base gave excellent service. A sharp quote for the job. Solid scoping. Conscientious communication and expectation management. Upon close-up discovery of some rot and necessary repairs, they did that too (was a little extra, reasonable). Very good paint job done to scope, on time, within budget, with spick and span cleanup. Would recommend to any friend."

"Steven, his project manager (Lee), and their team of painters did an excellent job of our exterior home painting project. Exterior painting in springtime Wellington can be tricky due to highly unpredictable weather and gusty windy. The job was challenging also because our property is situated in a very high wind zone. The team took health and safety seriously and took necessary steps to protect our property and themselves. The team worked patiently with us as we chose our colours for different parts of the project. The team made good use of clear weather, including over a couple of weekends, to stay on track with the timeframe. This pragmatic approach meant that time lost on wet days were made up when the weather was conducive to exterior painting. They are a very hardworking team. The job was completed on time. We took 3 quotes for the project, and Steven’s quote figured in the middle. We chose Steven to do the work because he came across as honest, understood our requirements, provided good advice, and was prompt with all communications.

Areas of improvement for the future:
1. Improved communications with clients to ensure they are aware when 1 more team members may be turning up to do the job on a given day or not.

2. The clean-up process—before completing the project—could be improved. Some minor finishing touches had unfortunately been overlooked.

Overall, we are very satisfied with their work and recommend their services."

I cannot praise Steven and his team enough. They did a fantastic job and went above and beyond.

They arrived on time, did what they said they would do and delivered a transformational and outstanding result.

Steven was always available, responsive to my questions, stayed on top of any issues, kept me informed of progress, stayed the course and pulled out all stops to ensure the job ran smoothly and on time.

Our job was extensive exterior renovation and full re-paint of a large multi-level property, not an easy job. Steven and his team were the shining star of all the trades people we had on site and would not hesitate to use him and his team again.

"Steven and his business overall did a good job. I would recommend him for interior painting work and I would re-use his services. Daily communication could have been a bit better as we were not always sure if a worker would be arriving the next day or not. This seemed to be due to Steven checking the weather forecast and deciding whether to send his staff to outdoor or indoor jobs. "Was so happy that we found Steven and his team. They were hard working, gave good advice, cost effective and did a brilliant job. We were a little nervous about the work as it was tricky but they did a beautiful job. They painted over old wallpaper and it looks like it was never there. They also did some wallpapering, which was great. They were open to feedback and came back to clean up, after we noticed some small issues - without any problem. They worked over weekend at times that suited us. Very happy with result and will be using again."
