    "Bought a faulty PC that had a faulty motherboard. Took them 3+ weeks to even admit to replicating the fault.. the fault would happen every 15-30 minutes.

    Tried to rip me off with a lower spec motherboard as a replacement. Asked for a refund and they have refused. Has now been six weeks and will have to take them to Disputes Tribunal. They will 100% lose so I don't know what game they are playing.

    Avoid at all costs"

    "I purchased a laptop from Computer Lounge for more than $2,000 less than a year ago. The laptop had hardare failures. I returned the laptop more than 3 weeks ago as it was still under warranty. I have been following up with them weekly on the status, but they just say it is still getting fixed. They were going to update me again this week, but I have not received any communication from them and they are not answering their phone. Steer clear of this place. worst customer service in NZ. "

    "Ordered an 850w PSU, got sent a 750w.
    Emailed right away with no response, ended up taking the loss and going to a more customer oriented store. Finally after almost two weeks they got back to me with the option to pay $70 more for the 850w PSU.
    This business does not care about the customer, only buy from them if you can afford to lose your money.

    "I recently bought the razer nari ultimate headset for xbox one. That's what I googled and their site popped up. Sweet, headset purchased. I tried on multiple xboxs to no avial. Like many others on here the emails from nathen were missleading and increadably unhelpfull. He made it seem like it was my fault and that they wouldn't take the return. Also when I tried to suggest an altinate product they said they didn't stock it and it would take a month to get it in. An unpleasant experience all in all"

    "***Very dodgy***** company, still no refund after a week. Look at all 1 star reviews before purchasing products with computer lounge. We returned a faulty CPU. It took 3 days and the phantom courier never picked it up as promised by computer lounge. We spent money sending it back which also has not been reimbursed as promised. We are getting charged $80 for testing and they are refusing to give us a refund or a replacement. As I am a member of consumer protection I will not give up and give these dishonest thieves my money. We have lost $235 + courier costs + downtime. I am happy to remove this review once a full and cleared refund appears in my account. Our correspondence is being ignored by computer lounge and they are refusing to refund"

    "Their incorrect 'advice' led to a purchase of incompatible RAM. Rather than admit their part in the error and despite presenting the misleading comment by their staff member that led to the confusion, they pocketed a whopping $73.55 'restocking fee'. Yes, on a couple of sticks of RAM haha. Evil geniuses or just enterprising and edgy business people? I'll let you be the judge. I even offered to meet them halfway and do a swap for the right product, but they were still unable to waive the desire to keep hold of that juicy 'restocking fee'! I wonder what they will treat themselves to with my 70 quid? Maybe at least post a photo of the morning tea shout for me fellas. But seriously do not rely on these guys for help, they truly have no idea what they are doing when it comes to computer advice. I must admit they appear to be seasoned experts at retaining ill-gotten money though, hence 1 star for the effort they have put into building a dishonest establishment to such a level without going broke yet, at least until more people catch on! My mission now is to cost them at least $73.55 in lost profit so I hope I can count on your help, dear reader. If you have just decided not to use this company from reading this or one of of the other posts I will put up around the place, then thanks for your support!"

    "No too impressed with the $14.95 express delivery (optional charge), I used this on my very first ever order with them and waited close too a week for delivery, understandably due too New Year BUT I did place an order after this one and got that first (both in stock).

    Excellent range and I\'m sure they are wonderful, but lack of contact was bad, express delivery was NOT express, more like overseas speed, with no offer of a refund (on delivery extra) for failure on that part.

    Remember guys, first impressions last."

    "Im a price/performance freak and used to check pricespy frequency for the best deals. These days I dont bother and just get my parts from Computer Lounge. Their prices are usually very competitive. In my opinion the service and support is worth alot more than the couple of bucks you would save if you got your stuff from one of the dodgy etailers with no physical store that are the cheapest on pricespy.

    Delivery is prompt and packaging is always good. A+"

    "The best customer service I have experienced. I supplied CL with some parts and I bought some to get them to create my new PC. The MSI Eclipse I gave them was not working with the Core i7 920 D0 stepping due to the incompatible BIOS. The team spent the day trying to flash the BIOS but the board died. Next they drove it to the MSI NZ supplier to try and re-flash the BIOS there but nothing could be done. CL even arranged a replacement board via MSI HQ and the distributor for free! Great service all-round and FREE delivery! They also provide the best build quality and cable management. Thanks Paul, Billy and the CL team! :)"

    "I would recommend buying from Computer Lounge for the serveral reasons. Quick delivery, cheap price, good after sale service, and very good communication. They arent like some xxxx two faced shop who dont care about the customers the moment the item is sold. If you think they maybe a little bit pricer then other shops sometimes think about how they do free shipping and good after sale service. Have purchased plenty of stuff off Computer Lounge and they have never let me down. Its highly recommended store in NZ for IT equipments."

    "My experience was walk in. Nice presentable displays in the shop. Great communication, great guys to deal with I have talked to them all. WONT GO ANYWHERE else for products they carry. My machine was in good nick and it happened quickly, went out of their way to remedy a problem that was not their fault.

    Computerlounge are always on the move always keeping me happy and never making mistakes. Theres not once that they have made problems for me over the years of being with them, and they always have time to talk to you.

    "I Found Computer Lounge (CL) half way through my Computer build.
    By this time, I was that time sick of getting the run around by some other companies and bossy salesmen.

    These guys are a breath of fresh air, even told me once “not to waste my money, you won’t see any difference“ which was a first.

    I sometime find some computers stores a bit like car yards.
    CL is a very easy going place and you will never walk out feeling pressured.

    Forums that they host are a great way of getting help. Especially if you if like me find it hard to ask simple questions face to face.

    Would recommend to all from the Beginner to the Pro.

Extremely reliable, very friendly and always do that little bit extra for the customer that no other shop does, not to mention that they are cheaper than any of the bigger stores (Bond and Bond, Noels etc...) and after their pricematch feature there is absolutely no reason to shop anywhere else. You will never walk out an unhappy customer after buying your computer hardware from them."
