    "I moved house recently to a new place which needed a range of things worked on from finding out what the correct power meter is (!) to installing a rangehood, oven, hob, extra outlet, washer and dryer. I had no idea how to do any of this or what it entailed. Duncan and crew did everything from start to finish. They were great! Professional, courteous, quick responses, reliable, no nonsense, and flexible. They also provided invoices and certificates of completion of work promptly. They do great… work and I'd highly recommend!"

But Duncan quickly adjusted the scheduling, and Shivy adapted the work in real-time as problems were discovered.     "Duncan and his team made a number of visits to my house from November last year to March this year for electrical work during major renovations. Communication with Duncan was excellent and he was very helpful and flexible when changes needed to be made to the work schedule. All the guys were efficient on the job and communicated well. Shivnay had a tricky job to re-run a submain cable but he completed it without a hitch and worked well with the builders. Dan disconnected the heatpump for the… builders and then reconnected a few months later in time for winter. The guys also fitted new outdoor security lights over two visits, firstly to use the scaffolding and then later when the scaffolding was removed to do the lower level ones. I knew Duncan from when he first did some electrical work for me some years ago during a kitchen renovation so I was glad he was available for this work and I will be keen to use him again in the future."

    "My outside security light was only working with one bulb pointing in one direction. I called Elliot Electrical to have this rectified, the electrician was here for 1 hour. He didn’t stay to test whether it was working. This cost just under $285.60, I now have 2 new bulbs that won’t switch off. Therefore I have to switch it off at the wall during the day and switch it on again at night, it then shines all night. This is not A good solution and I can’t afford to pay more to have it… rectified. Consequently a disappointing result."

    "Duncan and another member of his team (Dan) fixed a flickering light situation at my house. I did not realise the seriousness of the problem, which involved a fault in the power cables entering the house. Duncan was very efficient and contacted my electricity supplier immediately to request a linesman come to switch off the outside power to the house. He then replaced a cable box and cables and did some work on lights that were causing problems in the house. Duncan was efficient and thorough… and I would highly recommend his company, Elliott Electrical Ltd."

Dan and Robin did in fact arrive 4 days earlier than we'd been expecting them -- not sure how that happened. They did a very clean neat job, with the Cat6 cables following the route of the coax TV cable up the wall into the ceiling cavity, and across and down into the study.

After waiting over a week for an appliance repairer to come and tell us it was a power issue, Duncan managed to fit us in the next day.     "The work that I required to be undertaken was replacement of a bulb in the fitting outside the front door and it seemed to me that it was a relatively small job, although there seemed to be some wires that needed attention. The electrician turned up as arranged, and having identified the fitting needed to be replaced, returned to the workshop to acquire a replacement fitting, returned with this and fitted it, all within one hour of first arriving at my address! Superb, and I also got a smile… when I thanked the electrician for his work! Would certainly use Elliott Electrical in future, should I need an electrician and will referee Elliott Electrical to any one seeking an electrician. Annette"

    "Duncan and his team, Tyler and Dan did a wonderful job at our house. We gave Duncan an itemised list of what we wanted, which was pretty much replacing every light in the house, adding new fittings, removing old fittings, and generally fixing the electrics. Duncan quoted 4 days, and the team sped through in 3, which gave us the opportunity to add another days work, so now we are completely done. Tyler and Dan who did the work were awesome, cleaned up after themselves, and were a pleasure to… have in the house. We were home on and off during the time, and they just got on with things. We haven't had a single problem with the work they did, everything is working like magic. Highly recommended to anyone who wants quality work. We added a few curly challenges and I was impressed how well Tyler read the wiring diagrams, and installed things first time, right. Great job. Would we use them again, you bet. Except right now there is nothing else left in our house to replace. We are totally LED. Thanks Duncan, Tyler and Dan."

    "We first met Duncan and the team a few years ago when Elliott Electrical did all the electrical work when we renovated our two bathrooms. Since then whenever we require any electrical work to be done we just contact Duncan because we trust him. The most recent trip was to install fire alarms throughout the house. We used to have the ones which need to have the battery changed every six months. This was a bit challenging for us as we could not easily reach the alarms. After Duncan visited… the house and explained the options for our place we chose to have ten year photoelectric alarms installed. Jordie and Shivnay visited on Friday. Jordie called me let me know when they were arriving, Jordie and Shivnay immediately removed their boots before entering the house and talked with me about installing the alarms. They were very respectful and kind and tidied everything up too. Duncan always promptly replies to emails and is able to explain things in a clear, relaxed and understanding manner. It is great to know if we need help with anything electrical we can contact Duncan. Thank you!"

    "We contacted Elliot Electrical with some work that needed to be done within a short time frame. They came out right away and gave us an estimate, and did the work very quickly (in time for our Open Home). The lights that they installed work well, and they made sure to check in with me to make sure that everything was adjusted properly (no spotlights blinding us as we walk out the door). The cost was much less than we expected. We highly recommend this company!!! "
