Hand dug the posts to the side of the property and concreted in two posts, neatly trimmed at the top as requested. (WE ARE DOING THE PAINTING OURSELVES)
Remounted the existing fence with new brackets.All I need now is to have the 100% sign-off from council inspector - We shall see...

We contacted Al who visited the site very quickly to measure and discussed the job of replacing timber posts to reinstate the retaining wall. 100%"We called Al from Fencing 2000 and he was very prompt coming to our house to measure up the timber fence we needed replacing. Within minutes he told me what the cost would be to dig out existing posts and old fence and remove all debris from the existing fence.
Within a day of me emailing acceptance of their quote they were here removing the old fence and concreting in new posts. The following day the two fencing guys were back here and erected the new 1.8m high fence and did a perfect… job.

We are an Aoga Amata/ECE Centre in Glendene School and our front gate had come of it's hinges - hence posing a health and safety hazard. I called up on Thursday morning and Daryl came out later that afternoon and replaced all the hinges & magna latch and had our gate hanging again before our children were to go home. 8%"The work done by this man Alan and his team was really bad. The metal gate installed was damaged and it had chunks out. The sliding gate was stuck, and I could not open it to put my car in. The double metal gate on the side, was crooked and uneven. The retaining wall was not finished. Another fenced was pulled down and a new one placed, this was a dishonest trick. A deck was put up, without having it finished it on the sides. The finishing touches offered were not done. They did not… take all the stuff they were supposed to have taken away. The price was too high for the bad quality of the stuff I finished off with. I had to pay for someone to come and mend the metal gates and I had to pay extra money for that. The people who fixed the gates said they had never seen such a bad job ever. This is a sweet-talking guy who did not deliver what was promised, but took all my money away. I would only rate this business 30 out of 100. Workmanship - When the work first began.....the outside of my house looked like a construction site....it was stressful, there were holes in my concrete & dust. I really wondered how they were going to cover these holes and clean up. Was quite apprehensive. But when the job was done - it was a total transformation. Stunning workmanship. Nothing feeble. Staff : What can I say on this but that they were just amazing. They were polite and patient. Knew what they were doing. I requested if they could do some additional works like replacing a board along the boundary and put our mailbox up..., they gladly did it with a smile. It was also cool to know he hired a female in the crew. Well done on that. Al has an amazing crew. Al reminds me of a warm cuddly bear. You know he's an honest tradesman.

73%"I needed a fence built at very short notice so I committed to Fencing 2000 before they supplied their quote as they said they could meet the deadline if I committed that day. However, it took less than 4 days for the guy and his assistant (who just nailed the palings) yet for this I was charged more than $2000 incl GST. I expected to pay a fair premium for doing the job at short notice but certainly not this. "Al responded:"I must say I was extremely surprised to see your rating on my company on the No Cowboy web site. I am very sorry you feel that I stiffed you. I do not nor will I ever stiff people (as you so eloquently put it) I submitted a quotation to you in writing confirming my verbal quotation to you when we met on site BEFORE YOU ACCEPTED MY WRITTEN QUOTATION. You were free to accept or reject my quotation. If you felt I was stiffing you why did you accept my quotation At no time did I say you have to accept my quotation that day (hence the reason for the written quotation) which I only sent to you that night. I moved our schedule around to accommodate AND HELP you yet you give me negative feedback. Let us assume you could get the material on Trade Me for $1795-00. What about the 37 metres of labour (team of two) The 25 odd bags of quick set concrete .The 1400 odd nails used The delivery charge of the material to your site of $85-00 plus gst from the freight company. And of course a small profit. The $550-00 odd for GST that I charged I have absolutely no control over as I am obliged by law to charge you 15 GST. I pride myself on my honesty and reputation and for the record I would not have been in business since 1997 if I stiffed people or not be competitive price wise. My reputation on No Cowboys and within the market place and trade speaks for its self. But hey you are entitled to your opinion.
