"We recently contracted Heat and Cool to install a heat pump we selected this company because the price was slightly lower then their compeditors. However what a mistake that turned into, their installers appeared compleatly incompetant and had no idea of the product they were installing the system lasted about 2 weeks before not working, we were unable to get in touch with this company so ended up having a local electrican out who ran a new power supply and re-gassed the system.Very Disipointing from such a highly recommended company."

"I used Heat and Cool after getting quotes from two companies. H&C was several thousand dollars more than the other company, but Alex who came out to do the quote impressed me with his knowledge of the various Mitsubishi systems, his efficient manner and helpful attitude. It was important to choose a good system and to get the job done right as I was about to have a baby and wanted to heat (and cool in summer) my 1920s bungalow so that the baby didn't freeze or bake. I was so glad I went with this company. The system works superbly and nothing was too much trouble for them. They fast tracked the job so that it was done before the baby was born. It cost me $13,700 for a 3 bed house (8 underfloor grilles) and adds about another $100 to my power bill each winter month. It's absolutely worth it as my home is now comfortable. It was a pleasure dealing with all of their team. Highly recommend this company."

They came on time, worked non stop, have a great work relationship, great work ethics, and left the place neat and tidy. "Installed a good heat pump like any other supplier would these days. The major problem was the after sales communication which was very poor. I had asked for Heat Pump to be moved as when curtains went up it created a fire hazard, though this was my own fault and I take blame for this myself but why promise to come back when they obviously were not interested, pump for safety reasons only had to be moved along approx 40cms?
Subsequent conversations were rude and threatening even denial that they ever committed to return-----REALLY!
Quite arrogant too but business must be too good for them at present.
Not happy at all and would not recommend in fact have even pointed a few customers since elsewhere."

"I recently had a floor mounted heat-pump installed in our frosty bungalow by Carl and his team. We had a tricky area to heat, with a high stud and odd shaped rooms but Carl found a solution with our super quiet, floor mounted heat pump. Our electricity bills have now more than halved- from $13 a day to $5 a day and I've never been warmer!

Great communication and friendly service. The team were very efficient from my first phone call to the boys doing the install. After receiving quotes from other heat-pump installers I'm glad we went with Heat and Cool who are air-conditioning specialists. I can't recommend these guys enough."

"Fantastic, awesome bunch starting from a referral through to my initial phone contact with the very helpful admin lady. Then Carl for the very full explanation on heat pumps and suitability for our home.
The neat and tidy job the install guys did, I was impress with the Improvising way in which they used the overflow pipe into our close by rainwater drain so as no drips on the concrete in our outdoor entertaining area. Carl was very conscious of the ascetic visuals for us in the courtyard which of course I didn't realized could have looked terrible. Finally the evening of the completed job, Carl came back and gave us an in depth lesson and set our fantastic heat pump on auto fabulous - thank you to all at Heat & Cool for an AWESOME JOB - Fay H."

"I phoned Carl to ask about a small problem with our air conditioning unit, following renovations as the unit had been moved by the builders which caused the problem.

Carl immediately gave me helpful friendly advice and talked me through how to remedy the problem over the phone. As I couldn\'t manage it, he came to my house the following day and sorted the problem within a few minutes and didn\'t charge me anything.

He was friendly and helpful and just seemed determined to make sure I was happy with the product and the service which I was. Its great to see dedicated professional people out there who do a great job and I would happily recommend their services. Thank you Carl"

"After reading the reviews on here I decided to call Heat&Cool to get an assessment done on our place. I\'m so glad I did!

Carl arrived right on time and was very pleasant and easy to deal with. He did a full scope of the house and fully investigated the cause of our heating and dampness issues. After a thorough consultation it turned out a heat pump wouldn\'t work in our place, and would instead amplify our issues.However he talked me through a great solution.

"I asked for a quote to do a tricky job in our apartment, and Carl arrived punctually and was very helpful. After scoping out all the possibilities, he explained that there was not enough space in the apartment to do the job properly with a ducted unit as we wanted, and that for them to do the job, they want to do it well, thus we were convinced not to proceed with installation. It's very refreshing to see that Heat & Cool is concerned about how the system they install would perform, and they have guts to say it shouldn't be done. A lot of tradesmen these days would just install it for the sake of getting money, when the solution is not appropriate. "I had 3 different companies give us quotes for a heatpump installation, and Carl\'s knowledge and added value impressed me the most. They weren\'t the cheapest quote, but I\'m confident we got a better quality product than the other suppliers offered. My research also told me that the installation was just as important (perhaps more-so) as the model of heatpump, and the install team from H&C were superb. Three guys who arrived, and there was no messing around; they were straight into it, extremely professional, and they all took time to care about all aspects of the final look and performance of the unit as they were planning their approach. They even vacuumed up all trace of the install before they left (something I\'d been expecting to do, so I deliberately hadn\'t vacuumed that week, so I was a little embarrassed they even vacuumed \'my\' mess up!), the only sign they\'d even been here was a lovely new unit on the wall! One of their team was also an apprentice, which to me says volumes about the professionalism and future-focus of this business; they\'re taking the time to upskill and train their own installers from their own professional team rather than simply out-sourcing to others where they may not be able to control the quality. I\'ve been hugely impressed with H&C and have no hesitation in recommending them, or in using them again myself. Thank you so much to the team."

"We purchased a villa with high stud-no insulation. I can tell you it was freezing in winter! After visiting the showroom Carl provided us an on-site quote particular to our home and sympathetic to the period features of the house.
