100%"Rajesh came to look at my broken double drawer dishwasher and he provided such an excellent service.
I called and he arrived the same day.
The callout and per hour fee was very reasonable.
He arrived, he was very thorough and knew what he was doing.
Both dish drawers were not working. He installed 2 new motors into one and was running through checks when he took a step back and advised that he was seeing some other health errors, after some discussion he advised not fixing this old unit and… purchasing a new one, though the choice was mine, I agreed with his assessment.
He removed his installed motors, no charge, no drama.
The entire time I asked him questions on this or that and he was happy to provide knowledgeable answers.
There were a couple of opportunities for up-sells, eg he gained my trust and I wanted him to come and install the new dish washer I buy, instead he advised me to try and get a dishwasher installed for free from where ever I purchase it.

100%"Our expensive BOSH gas/electric stainless steel cooker failed to heat the oven
Rajesh found the problem was due to a faulty controller; Bosh were contacted for a replacement spare part but to our disappointment & frustration Bosh no longer stocked the spare, without which the cooker was useless.
Thankfully Rajesh returned a few days later with another brand of controller which he was able to fit to our cooker & it now works perfectly. Fault was not able to be found & fixed by another repairer (Apex Appliance Services) who was unwilling to explain and abrupt. Last repairer left some screws loose on oven when he hastily left. Apex's Call out fee is double that of Hi-Tech.

Rajesh had a brand new aqua stop inlet hose installed off a cosmetically damaged machine. Ended up costing less than half the price of a replacement aqua stop hose from Bosch and that’s including his labour. Fast and courtesy service. 15%"Absolutely disgusting customer service from the lady on the phone named Sara. Booked to have my washing machine repaired, she organised the technician to come after 4pm. I left my house for 10 minutes at 3.10pm came back at 3.21pm and the technician had already been so had to reschedule for a week later. Technician came a week later and the first question he asked was how old was the washing machine. I said 2 years. He said he would not touch it until I had contacted retailer to confirm… warranty otherwise if he touches it the warranty would be canceled. (Which I appreciated). Found out it still was covered under warranty and booked in with another technician. He said I would still be required to pay call out fee which was totally understandable. I asked for account number to direct debit the payment. And he told me they only accept cash, eftpos or cheque. This information should have been advised at the time of booking. After speaking to him he agreed that I could pay through internet backing and left. 5 minutes later Sara called me very rudely and asked when I would be making payment. I said today. I then proceeded to give customer feedback and told her she should have advised me on payment requirements while making the booking and very rudely told me she doesn't need to do that and that I should have asked. I then mentioned to her that it would have been helpful during the time of booking, when explaining what was wrong with my washing machine if she could have asked how old the washing machine is. Then she could have advised me the same thing the technician had told me about the warranty. This would have saved wasting the technicians time and the call out fee. This woman consistently cut me off during talking, where i actually had to say can you let me speak. In the end she was practically yelling over the phone and would not take accountability for any of the complaints I had made. In the end she rudely yelled "so when are you going to pay" which I had already advised her i would pay today. This has been the most disgusting customer service I have ever experienced in my entire life. If you want to speak to someone who is professional and respectful and can handle constructive criticism this is not the service to call."Sara at Hi-Tech responded:"Customer in karaka, asking for payment becomes harassing. Comes from a lady who used abusive words & threatening language like "How dare you...." etc.. Correction: First visit - time was not confirmed but given approx range time of arrival. Before arriving called twice and texted and no response & when tech arrived no one was home. We did not commit for a second visit. Hence the customer was free to call any other repair company. Nevertheless we called week after and offered to come. Well, I don't need to explain further. All this for a meer call out fee.... and honesty. 100%"Our Ariston induction cooktop (of 5 years) started emitting smoke and we had to shut it off for almost a week, waiting for a service call. After contacting a number of service techs including Ariston who are supposedly reputed to be Ariston endorsed, I contacted Hi-Tec appliance services. They responded to my request quickly and Sara was exceptional with her customer service. Raj who serviced the cooktop was quick to diagnose the problem (faulty filter board) and discussed with me on the… options. Raj repaired the induction cooktop within an hour in the most economical way and his charges were very reasonable (less than half of what another service tech quoted). Raj presented himself as a truly professional service tech who knew what he was doing, engaged with the customer, shared his knowledge and did a fantastic job! If an award could be presented to the best Trades person or service tech, Raj would definitely clinch it (a role model for others to follow). Thank you Raj for answering our "mayday" call during this lockdown period and we will definitely recommend your services to anyone.

100%"Our trusty old 14-year-old Maytag developed a squeaky bearing in the motor, because of faulty vent installation, partially my fault. Rajesh sorted the issue very quickly, gave us options, sorted the least cost of replacement, after which we decided to replace the motor - which although was very expensive, it runs like it will last another 20 years, given the proper install of the vent, which I've now done. 100%"I was really happy with the service provided by Rajesh and the woman I spoke to on the phone.
Phone service was friendly and polite and a quote was easy to get for the repair work required on my washing machine.
There was were short delays in arriving, but I was kept up to date both by the woman handling the bookings and by Rajesh.
The water pump in my washing machine had failed previously and was replaced by another business 10 months earlier and had since failed again (Rajesh showed… me that they used an old Chinese 2nd hand pump, even though they had charged me for a new one).

Rajesh talked me through the different models of pumps and their relative reliability and costs, and I chose a more reliable 2nd hand Fisher and Paykel pump for a fraction of the cost of a new pump that Samsung would use.
I have a very cheap washing machine and it was great that Rajesh talked me through the options. The final invoice was much cheaper than the initial quote I was given. I also came away with the knowledge of how to replace a washing machine drain pump if I ever need to in the future.
