"Andy really could not have been more professional and friendly. I loved the way he explained what he was doing and why.
I had just spent nearly a thousand dollars on an auto electrician who spent hours on my car and failed to identify the main problem.
Andy, however, managed to fit me into his busy schedule early the next morning right after I called him. I had broken down in the Westfield car park. Andy had been recommended to me by another mechanic (he would know the good from the bad!)
Andy identified the real problem in an impressively short space of time - (over-enthusiastic fuel injectors) and he even showed me the petrol leaking onto the piston heads by shining a torch into the hole where the spark plug had been and inviting me to look. All this when I knew he had other places he needed to get to.
Then he charged me about ¼ as much as the other guy. Great value for money. I wish I'd gone to Andy first. I certainly will next time!"

"Andy came out and looked the car over to see what was wrong as my oil light came on unexpectedly. He ran a diagnostic tool over it and it showed oil contamination. He got to work and it was a pretty sight in the oil pan. He was honest and upfront about the motors condition that it was highly contaminated and would need flushing. He talked me through what he was going to do and explained that even after the oil change, there could be a possibility that a release valve could let go and the engine could drop all its oil. It did just that in my driveway while he was here. He redid the oil change for the third time and reset computer in the car. Unfortunately the light came on the next day. I contacted Andy who was fantastic about it and returned to recheck the problem. This time he used real time data from the car and found a number of problems. I learned a lot while watching what Andy did from the data load. He absolutely nailed the problems I was having and had the car running better than I had ever driven it. I highly recommend Andy and his business to everyone. He is thorough, professional and super friendly, explaining what he was doing and why. It wasn't just a hook up the diagnostic reader, turn fault codes off and leave taking your money, but not actually repairing the problem. Thanks again Andy."

"Andy came out as my vintage car wasn’t running well and I had already taken it to 3 mechanics who couldn’t find the problem. I was too scared to drive it into another mechanic as I was always breaking down on the way there. I loved how Andy took the time to listen to the problems I was experiencing and then by that he narrowed down what it might be, by listening to how I said I would only have a issue once it was warm made a big difference as cancelled out the options of things everyone else had said it was. I ordered the things I needed from my vintage car friends and then when Andy came back he popped it all in quickly, what is quite good is how you can watch and learn at the same time, having a vintage car it’s always cool to see what things do which you don’t get when you leave it at the mechanics . I took her for the big drive that she always breaks down on and no issues! She then drove for her wof and flew through as Andy had fixed some wiring and switches I needed for my lights.
Andy is friendly and very informative, finally I’ve found someone that appreciates my car and she’s in good hands!

"Noble Auto Services - Unique in that Andy is an auto mechanic and auto electrician which is why we chose him for our job because I was unsure whether my problem was mechanical or electrical - it was electrical, manifesting in mechanical problems.
There is no doubt he knows his stuff and the job was completed and the quality was 100%.
However he verbally quoted the repair to be $1000 including GST and callout including Labour and parts - he even called the supplier in Auckland to ensure diagnosis and repair.
However when he returned at a mutually agreed date and time, with the (repaired) part (which was sent to Auckland) he said he was previously unable to give me an estimate last visit, to which I reminded him of his verbal estimate which he acknowledged but said the charge would be an all up $1400 + small change.
I paid based on the quality of service & repair but reminded him his charges were way more than 10% more than what he had estimated. I felt compromised at that point.
Other cons were - he likes you to be there as he repairs the vehicle, giving a running commentary on what he is finding, this is time consuming.
We contacted him because of his mechanical & electric experience as we had broken down roadside and thought he would come to us, but he didn't want to undertake work on the road-side (which meant we had to tow it home) we went ahead with his services, because I rightly knew the problem was a puzzle, but one that he was very qualified to diagnose.
Payment is demanded at the completion of the job with no mention of this beforehand, terms & conditions are handed over stapled to the hand written invoice, it would be better to get the T&C's on the first visit.
My plumber, electrician and other services bill me with 7 days to pay.
The invoice is hand-written with no emailed copy which means I have to scan the invoice for my digital records.
I paid later not on the spot, and Andy was clearly not happy about a later payment but accepted it - I just wanted to give my vehicle a thorough test out, which I did - it was 100% fixed with no problems over 2 months on.
When you read this Andy it is not a critical review rather one that will help you improve your service which has a few rough edges. Your work and expertise is top notch excellent, but your professional disposition while on the job is didactic & slightly "high pressure".
This is an honest account not intended to offend or otherwise."

"After my car's alternator packed up last month I got on the phone to Andy as I'd heard he was highly recommended.

Firstly, he answered the phone on a Sunday (yes, I was wond of those!) and he came out within a couple of days (the first day that I was available) to have a look. He was able to diagnose it on the spot & I called my mechanical Warranty company. Andy spoke with them directly from there for the claim.

We had to wait a few weeks for a replacement and Andy was particular about ensuring the right model was ordered (no cheap alternative which likely wouldn't have been compatible) and kept me informed as to progress of the delivery. Once the item was with him he came out as soon as we were both available to replace it. He was even able to complete the oil & fluids service that was due as well.

All of this, and my car didn't need to leave my garage (which is good as I'd have to use a towtruck to move it!) & all at a very reasonable price. Well impressed and while I hope not to need Andy's services again I'd happily call him next time I have an issue.

The work done was first rate, with information on which brand of products to be used as well as actual work to be done and completed being clearly communicated. "Had problems with boat trailer lights. got hold of Andy and next day he popped round to find out what was going on. Rather than just checking the brake lights wiring Andy took the time to test/check all the wiring and we found that a number of wires were corroded and would have surely failed. Andy rearranged his day to completely rewire our boat trailer using heavier coax and multi-layered shrink wrap on the joins. Did an awesome job."

"Andy is beyond compare. He has worked on my sisters car several times and has always done a fantastic job. I booked him to do a service on my Mazda, unfortunately my son had a flying batman mishap and I was at the drs so had to cancel, I called later to rebook it and less than half an hour later he was there doing my service. He discovered my timing chain was lose and needed replacing asap( it sounded like a truck, a really bad one). He found out prices before calling me back the same day to let me know. I rang him the following week to book it in to be done, he said he would order the parts and keep in contact as to when he could come and do it. Two days later he showed up asking if he could strip the car down to make sure he only ordered the parts required, as we didn't know how much damage the lose chain has done. He's currently doing this in less then great weather. Andy is a god send when it comes to cars, He's on time, sometimes a whole day early if you are free, he keeps you updated through the whole process, shows you exactly what's broken, needs replacing etc and keeps you informed of costs. I could not rate him any more highly. He has now become our family mechanic and we would not trust anyone else with our cars. 1000 stars"

"I highly recommend Andy from Noble Auto Services and commend him for the fantastic work he does. As a medical doctor working in Auckland for the last 9 years, it has been a struggle to find time and a skillful and honest mechanic to fix and service my car. I recently had a significant issue with my Nissan Note 2006 engine. Hesitant to drive it to a garage, I decided to Google search for a mobile mechanic. I came across numerous companies however the reviews were a hit and miss. Noble Auto Services caught my attention quickly with the exceptional comments and ratings. I called Andy and he answered straightaway. Despite being a one-person business with numerous booked customers, Andy was still able to fit me in the next day. He diagnosed the issue, gave me the quote and walked me through every step fixing the car and replacing it with a brand new alternator momentarily. There are no call out fees, prices are very reasonable and Andy tells you up front the costs of the parts and labour with or without GST. Andy is very easy to contact, very convenient especially he is mobile and can come home, work or wherever and whenever, has excellent communication skills, honest, humble, has great sense of humor and is abe to empathize with his customers. Andy is a decent and caring human being and we have had some lovely yarns. Andy just serviced my car this morning and he continues to do a fantastic job. "As someone that’s not experienced with cars other then driving, I always get worried handing my car over to someone to fix & if I’m going to get a good job done or get ripped off!!!
Well I can honestly say that I’ve had to Call Andy a couple of times now to sort my car & His professional service & manner is why I won’t go anywhere else.. To have him come to me, I can see what he’s doing & also he explain’s as he’s going, rings supplier’s.. Everything is all done up front, nothing dodgy or under handed..Absolutely Fantastic Service.
I will give an example: I needed my belt replaced, Andy came to me with the part replaced it & charged me part +labour.
Someone I know rang me a couple of days after this,so I thought I’d ask them what they would charge me & I was told because the belt was long it was going to cost X for the part & X for labour.. Well I showed him my invoice & basically his charge for the part alone,was more then what Andy charged me for part, labour & he came to me..
I can’t speak highly enough & I definitely highly recommend Andy I personally will not go anywhere else."

"We used him to fix our BMW as it overheats, initial diagnose to identify the issue was $92 and he did a pressure test and determined the radiator was faulty and offered us a quote $678 and we were desperate so we decided to go ahead with it.

Andy was always on time and keep us posted of what he was doing, He pulled out the old radiator and installed the new one filled it up with water (even though we were charged for coolant in our quote) and finished the job and said it's all good (no tests carried out to ensure it's fixed)

Next day drove the car for 5 minutes and there was a water leak, called him again and turned up early morning and we have showed him a video of the leak and again he did a pressure test and said all good (didn't bothered to jack it up and have a look underneath or to drive it for 2 minutes and see if the leak manifest again) and advised us to sell the car without disclosing the issue as it's a lemon. while we appreciate your advise to pass it on to someone it is not ethical and raise serious concerns about your integrity.

Next day took it to our usual mechanics at Homai & they diagnosed the issue and said the " radiator fans are not working " which lead to the overheat" replaced that and they have also figured that the new radiator which you have installed also faulty. fixed those two and issue was resolved.

What a waste of money down the drain due to your misdiagnose & shoddy workmanship.

Use his services at your own risk and highly doubt those other 5 star reviews are true or not.

"Hi Rita Sadly you felt this way as this job was done on the 9/4/18 and as for the next day of fitting the new radiator I did return and recheck the car the next day. I found a leek on one of the bottom hoses and did repair this leek and did check the car and topped it up with coolant and rechecked and there was no leek at all as your partner was there watching me through the job. I had explained everything to him and showed him what I have done and waited for the temperature to reach operating temperature and the fan working and it was working correctly. As for you saying a miss diagnoses your partner was there on the first time of diagnoses and we both your partner and myself had seen the radiator leaking as it was cracked and explained everything to him so as for a miss diagnoses that statement is incorrect and as for shoddy workmanship that is incorrect. If there was any problems after this time and you had contacted me regarding an ongoing issues then you should have called me at once as this job is still under warrantee and if it was a faulty radiator then the radiator would of gone back as a claim with NO charge at all but as for a faulty fan I would of picked this up and there was no problem with this but only after six months strange if there was a faulty fan you car would have over heated the first time you used it and the fans were coming on at normal operating temperature at the time of doing the job. I have not received any call from you at all regarding this matter and only found this out after you had put a bad review on google and did not know who you were as you did not contact me sadly. I had tried to call you on the number on the job sheet that you put up with your review but there is no answer at all so as for this review is unfair that you did not contact me and only after six months you have a problem with your car So if you had to contact me regarding the radiator and there was still a problem then you would have not have waisted your money on another repair. "This is the first time i have used this service and i am so glad i did. I had a previous mobile mechanic who looked at my car and said the gearbox needed to be replaced. I called andy for a routine service and was pleased. He not only explained everything in a clear manner and took my car for a ride to see the difference. "If anyone in Akl is looking for an awesome, honest, fast, super lovely Mobile mechanic, call Andy!! He had my Mazda Demio up and running within 8 minutes flat! "The name says it all: Yes NOBLE AUTO SERVICES, (having or showing fine personal qualities or high moral principles.

synonyms righteous, good, honourable, honest, uncorrupted, anti-corruption, moral, generous) - I called him up and he was busy on the road and going to other jobs, but he still made the time to talk to me about the issues I had for my car. He was that busy and fully booked, he could not see me that same week, but said he would see me early the next week but wanted me to txt him my address and he would get back to me. I txt him the following week and he said he was just finishing a job and will be over to see me. Whe Andy arrived I explained and showed him the issue my car was having. He knew what the problem was straight away and there was no mucking around he told me what needed to be done and the parts that he needed to order in and so as he was ringing around trying to order the parts and when he would be able to get them. He then gave me a quote on how much it would cost and the day he would come and fix it. He wanted to know if I was happy with it and if I wanted to go ahead with the repairs. I had agreed to this and was excited because the quote he gave was reasonable and was well within our budget to get my car fixed. When Andy arrived the day he was fixing the car, I was blown away with his van and the amount of tools he has stored in this van and how everything is organised and basically has everything you would in a workshop, but in a van. He did not muck around he came straight in and got stuck into the job, he showed me what was causing the problem and I took photos of it as well. He made me aware of things and What to look out for. In no time he stripped the parts out fixed it all up - cleaned everything even gave the front lights a good old shine and the job was done. I could not believe how fast and efficient the job was and I give him full credits for it! No more oil leaks and the my car run smoothly thanks to Andy's Noble service. My family was as excited as me because when I went to collect my kids from school that day the car was fixed, their faces said it all! The relief of not having to walk up the hill anymore after school and just how smooth the car drives.It was amazing and just because it was fixed less than 3 hours, but in saying that while he was fixing my car the amount of people that was calling him to try and book him in it was just over whelming and he was really busy. What I have to say in all of this the honesty, being straight to the problem the quote given was so affordable compared to taking my car into a workshop and been given a quote that is so expensive and the problem is not eve fixed. Even getting a quote over the phone is ridiculously expensive and some workshops can not tell us what the problem is and they seem to go round in circles and not be able to fix the problem, but make it worse. i strongly recommend Andy to everyone and anyone with a car problem - and funny enough this is the 2nd time I have used his services on 2 different vehicles and always spot on with the fixing them, but I have only managed to write this review for the first time. Good on you Andy for the great work and job well done and keep it up - you will go far with the honesty and reasonable quotes and service you give! "Called Andy to look at what I thought may be an alternator issue, He gave me rough pricing overy the phone and got out to see the car promptly.

When he arrived he confirmed it was this and ordered parts in straight away came back the next morning and installed. The end price was close to the estimate which was exellent.

One day after installing the new alternator the same problem happened again, he came straight away to check it out after an hour of trying to figure out what it could be it was a faulty alternator (not his fault but suppliers fault) he ordered in new one at his own expense and did all the Labour for free.

Car is running smoothly now and if you want someone that's prompt, friendly and easy to deal with and also very knowledgeable Andy is your guy. Would highly recommend him to anyone having car troubles."

"Called this guy Andy after my ford EF fairmont snap a serpentine belt that runs the alternator and power steering etc within half an hour he was at my address he then diagnose the problem which i knew anyway as the belt stretched it pulled the powersteering belt pully out of alignment but i didn't know about the the belt tensioner after finding out the problem he quoted me around $700 thought that was expensive but decided to go ahead anyway as i was desperate to get the car back on the road after a while he came back with second hand parts and fitted them the power steering pump and tensioner and new serpentine belt didn't take him all that long to fit the parts after that got the bill $1066 what a joke ask him why so much he said all the running around finding the parts so payed the guy anyway after a few days notice the steering was really tight the power steering pump was faulty it leaked fluid all around the engine bay i had to get him back to fixed the problem he didn't hesitate fixed the problem out straight away but didn't take that long to find another power steering pump the seal from the first one was crap i then notice on trade me that a secondhand powersteering pump with warranty for that particular car was just under $80 that was from ford and holden Avondale he charge me around $275 for a pump heck i was really hacked of and felt ripped off i was used from this guy because he knew that i needed to get the car back on the road as soon as possible so i was vulnerable which he took advantage this is my experience with this guy won't be using him again."

"I couldn't get a vehicle started, and it had me stumped. After a quick google i found Andy, and based on the good reviews here I asked him to get me going. "I noticed my car making knocking sounds and when I got home saw that the cv boots had split and was sure the joints were gone as well. A mate recommended Andy from Noble Mechanics to me so I gave him a google and called him the next day. He picked up a couple of cv joint kits and headed over to where I was stranded. He turned up and was the friendliest mechanic I had met and I instantly felt comfortable. He invited me to watch what he was doing to my car so I knew what he was talking about which I was happy to do. I told Andy that a few days prior I had my rotors changed Super Cheap Tyres in Onehunga. We talked about how we were both surprised how the mechanic at Super Cheap Tyres had not pointed out that my cv boots were split and leaking grease and how my cv joints could potentially be stuffed. He completed one side of the car and went to the other. He showed me that the right front tyre of my car only had two nuts holding on the tyre and they could be taken off without a wheel brace (he unscrewed them with his hand - anybody that knows how to change a tyre would know sometimes it is challenge to get the nuts off with a wheel brace). The tyre could have come off while I was doing 100km on the Auckland motorway and my 6 year old son, myself and anybody else in the car or on the road around me could have been killed or seriously injured. I was horrified, as was Andy and he advised that I should make a complaint so that Super Cheap tyres were aware of their mistake. Not only did Andy fix my car, he potentially saved our lives, saved me a lot of money and to top it all off he gave me a free engine scan (at $150 + gst value), looked at my Mum's brake pads for me and told my sister and I that her pads didn't need replacing. I think a lot of people would agree that if this were any other mechanic, they would have taken advantage of the fact I asked about my mothers brake pads and found other pricey 'issues' that needed fixing. I can proudly say now that I have ticked off one of the hardest missions in a persons life, this is to find a great mechanic that I will enjoy using over and over again in the future and recommending to everybody I know. After 13years of retail/customers service jobs Andy is the best that I have ever come across. I know nothing about cars and I had to leave my car in Auckland over the weekend as it had broken down. Andy is First rate, he knows his stuff, and knows who to call if he gets stuck, like the problem he fixed for me.
I have a High performing Volvo, it's leaked a little oil, a job in any terms that's pricey, and involved to fix, thank you volvo,
Andy diagnosed the problem swiftly, and got straight to work on the issue. used all original manufacturer parts, problem was Volvo sent out a faulty part and i revisited the oil leak straight after Andy's work was done.
Not only did he come around straight away pull it apart, but got the new part in and got it running in my shed that same day. I believe i know a little about cars, by no way am i an expert, but have been able to sniff out dodgy mechanics in the past.

To make sure the car was fixed and i was mobile again Andy called me. our issue revisited again the following day, and again it was a Volvo faulty part and Andy dropped what he was doing, came around with in 30 min, was on the phone to the industry experts in his network, he systematically checked the process, replaced the part again and got me running straight away, just as it should be.

Andy was punctual and professional but I think the most rewarding point for me was his passion for engines and to fix them. Many mechanics have laid hands on my old school mini but have never really been able to diagnose problems, they've made small fixes just to keep the car on the road. "i wish ALL Mechanics were like Andy. Called him on Friday and he arrived as promised Saturday morning. Within minutes he diagnosed the problem. I had bought a brand new battery from a garge, and got my car going for a day, the next day it was completely dead. within minutes Andy found that it was the altenator. he removed it took it away, including my battery (he said he would recharge it for me), returned Tuesday, installed the altenator. he was unable to re-charge the battery. I was dreading having to go back to the garage that sold me the damn thing. Andy called me to say that he had called the garage for me and that I was going to have a lot of problems with them as they were being unhelpful and were reluctant to exchange the battery I had bought for $140.00 AND they had issued me with a 3 year warranty. He then asked if I would like for him to go to the garage himself. I was at work and being a woman who is not at all knowledgeable about cars was so relieved. half an hour later Andy called to say that he managed to get a new battery off them. he installed the battery himself and even fixed my speedometer which was not working and which my previous mecahnic said was going to be very expensive to fix. ALL THIS FOR FREE. I only paid for the altenator and his labour. Andy you restore my faith in Mechnics.
I would highly recommend him to anyone needing a proffessional no Cowboys mechanic. Such an honest caring person. Will be keeping your Business Card Andy."

"My problem started in the city att 7.30pm last night. I stopped at the lights, the car stalled and failed to restart. Having a wee bit of a background on working on cars over a number of years I tried all the tricks I knew of ( possible flooding, battery lead, plug leads etc but nothing. I arranged for a tow truck. They responded pretty promply and the guy tried a few of his tricks( checked fuel coming from the pump) and identified fairly quickly that there wasn't) and as a result I was likely up for new fuel pump. In the city so what to do? This Tow truck guy was excellent as well and suggested that if he towed the car back to my place someone he knew may be able to come on Saturday and had no call out charges. My initial reaction was ( like most of us have) was Mmmm... the old mate of a mate!. This could go horribly wrong and could be costly. However due to to the need to have the car on the road by Monday if possible, I took the punt. My initial thought had been to tow it to the agents and hopefully they could start on it Monday morning.
The decision to tow the vehicle home and have this so called "person I know who is good"turned out to be Gold!!
Saturday morning true to the promise I recived a phone call from a guy who inteoduced himself as Andy at that he would be there in hafl an hour. That for a start blew my mind and in exactly half an hour he arrived.
You know how sometimes you wish you could hit the jackpot?...Well I just did!
The service from Andy was unbeliveable! All the qualities you look for in a professional service technican he held.
1. He contacted us prior to arrival to confirm a time and arrived on time!
2. He was immediately into eliminating the obvious and potentially simple causes that if diagnosed could save expensive repair costs.
3 After eliminating the obvious he identified one further potential wiring problem that could be a cause. When he expalined what he thought it could be I had reservations because of a similar experience with a previous vehicle I owned. In that case the techncians cost me several hundred dollars and were unable to identify the cause. In the end they had to remove the alarm and turbo timer in order to resolve the starting fault. That left me without an alarm or turbo timer!
Within 5 minutes I heard the car start and could not believe he had sorted the problem! What he had anticapted it could be...it was and for $115 dollars I was back on the road.
4. Now what is amazing in this case, is that not only was Andy able to identify the problem
( where previous technicans from other companies had failed to do with my previous car) but he was also able to bi pass the cause without impacting on the alarm or immobiliser and...all within an hour. I simpky could not believe his magic!
5. Furthermore,Andy was a really pleasurable person to deal with. He had a total customer focus, a great sense of humour and after enquiriing into his background over the last 20 years it became apparent he was excpetionally skilled and had a very impressive CV.
6. Like most people, I dont take usually take time to write references unless the person really exceeds my expectations. Afetr all, we exepect professionalism and competence. That what's we pay for but in this case..I felt obliged to pass on to others this feedback.
The guy is a cut above anyone I have come across as a service technician. He prides himself on no rip offs, no inflating the problem or the cost and just one of those people where you feel you have struck gold.
7. If you want the best....Look no further.I know I have rabbited on......but this guy and his company deserve it! Just awesome"

"My 2006 Suzuki Swift wouldn\'t start 1 day. Called Andy. He came & tried a few things to get it going, ie replaced plugs, checked spark, etc. Then used a compression gauge on motor which he showed me saying there was \'no compression\'. When I asked what that meant, he told me \'your motor is stuffed, and you need a new motor\' (At 87,000 kms) He then priced some second hand motors and estimated around $3500 for the job. I was caught between a rock & a hard place. He arranged for a tow truck to collect the vehicle and then left. He also didnt put the things he\'d pulled apart back together leaving my motor compartment in pieces. I wanted to try it myself thinking the car may have just flooded as Swift\'s occasionally do. I had doubts so rang Winger Suzuki, they told me these motors don\'t usually stuff out (the only time they\'d seen this is once, when a motor ran dry with no oil)
I then got a call from Andy the next day. \"Good news, you\'re motor\'s not stuffed, it just needs a system flush, and its going to cost around $1750\" I felt somewhat relieved that it wasn\'t going to need a new motor and wasn\'t going to cost $3500.
After I had the car returned, I had massive doubts about how an experienced mechanic with more than 20 years experience wouldn\'t have known that the motor wasn\'t stuffed. To do a compression test so soon when assessing it on day one and then to tell me my motor was stuffed would not be something I would have expected a knowledgeable, experienced mechanic to have done.
Be very careful when dealing with this business, as throws a lot of doubt about his ability, and I for one won\'t ever engage his services again."

"It is said that Warren is the parter of Phillipa & they are out for revenge with the problems they have had with their VW golf that was not my doing as they had taken there VW to another garage and this problem was damaged by a third party witch I had not control over. As for the Suzuki Swift I had kept Warren in constant contact with all the repairs that had to be done to his Suzuki as well as replacing a O2 censor & carrying out computer diagnostics on his car. As for the car being flooded mmmmmm not true as the plugs were removed & were shot through lack of servicing again & a compression test was carried out & there was no compression at all which lead me to believe that there was a possibility of engine damage & further tests had to be carried out. I had communicated with Warren with regards of towing the car away as i needed more time to cary out further diagnostics to avoid replacing the motor unnecessary & Warren agreed to this plan of action which lead to bleeding of the hydraulic lifters & carrying out a full service was also required, cleaning & flushing injectors as he was complaining about sluggishness and heavy fuel consumption, replacing spark plugs & air filter. Warren was very happy with the operation of his car when he had received it three days later as I was waiting on a O2 censor to arrive. The following day I had Contacted Warren regarding the running operation of his car & and he was happy. As for all the slander & negativity that Phillipa & Warren wants to carry out on me is all about compensation for the amount of $280.00 which was not my doing. As for all work carried out on Phillipa\'s & Warren\'s cars they were kept up to date throughout the process & made sure that they understood fully on what I was doing & why I was doing it as well as to get approval on any repairs that was needed to be done before going ahead with any repairs. As I have said in the previous reply to Warren\'s & Partner Phillipa I wish them both well & all the best."

"VW Golf serviced by Andy from Noble Auto Services (Jan12). (over $380). Just after the service, noticed big pools of oil on the garage floor. Called him back, & he returned to fix problem. Next service (Oct12), took to Continental Cars. -They began the service, only to discover the oil filter housing had been screwed on so tightly by the previous service (by Andy) that it wasn\'t possible to remove it (to replace the oil filter) without breaking it (A $280 item that we had to pay for (no fault of our own) because Noble Auto Services overtightened the oil filter housing). When contacted about it, Andy accepted no responsibility for his \'overtightening work\' telling us \"Well, you\'ll just have to buy a new one then\", and \"you shouldn\'t have taken it to someone else to get serviced\". The thing is, even he wouldn\'t have been able to remove it without breaking it (A great way to guarantee yourself more money on the next service!!!!!)
He was rude and abnoxious on the call, wouldn\'t take any responsibility for causing the problem, and wasn\'t prepared or willing to even discuss a possible resolve or solution. Beware when dealing with this character.

RESPONSE IN REPLY TO NOBLE AUTO COMMENT
The VW Golf was taken to Continental Cars for its service 26 Oct 12 because the engine light was on, so it was decided to do a service at the time as it was overdue (normally Continental would advise us it needed servicing- however because my husband arranged for a backyard mechanic to do the previous service (Noble Auto Services) we received NO such notification. Nevertheless Continental Cars being the professionals they are, contacted me to advise the previous service person had not only screwed the oil filter housing on soooo tight, but he had also \'glued\' it on, so as to prevent it leaking again, after the service he had performed hours earlier left a massive pool of oil on our garage floor. He had to return to fix it (it was actually getting dark) and fixed the problem quickly (obviously by gluing and tightening) So because the oil leak was no longer evident - nothing more was thought of it, until Continental Cars called when trying to do the proper service to say \"they had never seen anything like what the previous service person had done\". They were absolutely flabbergasted. When I tried to discuss this with Andy, he became defensive, belligerent, and wouldnt accept any responsibility for his part in this issue ( he was definitely the cause as no one else had gone near the car) He assumed a rude tone, overtalked me and he hung up on me. as for a car being 4000kms over service, this is irrelevant to the problem he caused. I was also supplied the part by Continental once they had fixed it (properly, unlike the last person) as proof of what he had done, and I welcome anyone to contact me, and I
Am more than happy to show them what a \"glued\" \"over tightened\" oil filter housing looks like.
What\'s more, deducting the cost of that part from their service cost, they were cheaper than Noble Auto Services, AND they fully groomed my car in the process ( which I\'d forgotten was one of their lovely unique customer service perks).
Deal with this Andy character at your own risk. I have my own personal doubts about all his testimonials but I have no doubts at all that in the future, I wouldn\'t waste a dime on him touching a car of mine ever again, even if he was the last mechanic on the planet."

"Its unfortunate that a situation like this has occurred. Phillipa had required a service to be done on his VW Golf on the 03/01/2012 which I had done with full reports & full explanations on what i had done with the replacement of the air cleaner as the car was long over due & also needed a cambelt & brake fluid flush as the services were not kept up to date. Phillipa had contacted me that evening of the 03/01/2012 complaining of a oil leak that was not there before so I attended to this problem within half an hour of the call at 19:45 to find that the oil seal that I replaced was leaking so replaced it with another new seal & problem was solved. On the 26/10/2012 Phillipa had a problem with a dash warning light & took it to the dealers & suggested a service to be done on the car but in the process of the service they could not get the oil filter housing off & Phillipa suggested that I go through & remove it for them. I arrived on Saturday morning to attend to this problem to find that the oil filter housing was broken through them knocking at the housing causing damage & the service was 4000km + over from the last service. I carry all the special tools required to remove all parts from engines including filters & do not see a hammer as a special tool in any cases to remove filters. As I am a trained & qualified technician on VW I know the procedure & the specifications on VW products & oil filter housings have to be torqued to 22.5 NM & this has always been done. Through the negligence of removing the oil filter by the garage & braking it Phillipa insisted that I be responsible for this & demanded me to pay for the oil filter housing which I did not break & was not my responsibility as this had been done by a third party were i had no control over. As for all work carried out I have fully written GST invoices & all testimonials posted through the work I have done over a long term relationship with my clients & corporate clients and this is controlled by the team @ No CowBoys I am more than happy to compensate for any repairs that was caused through me but as for this part was not through my doing and was broken by a third party when i got to the garage and for the lack of communication,ruddiness & abuse from Phillipa & Warren was completely uncalled for. I wish them both well with the future repairs to there VW Golf & Suzuki Swift & trust all will be well. "

"I was looking for a sparky who wa affordable and could diagnose the issue without too much fuss especially when I tried describing the scenario. Andy was an awesome guy to deal with and I\'m female, he didnt make me feel less worthy like most other mechanics would and I felt at ease conversing with him. "As I\'m a pretty cautious person you know I looked at these testimonials and thought they were all made up BUT Andy followed up with great customer service considering that he works alone and his response was really awesome and now I\'m a believer!

I am a pretty good handy chick and I have a reasonable amount of mechanical knowledge, he did as I requested and talked to me about looking at the bigger issues. I had already shopped around and knew exactly what bigger issues could arise so his pricing while it was a little bit more than others,was actually worth it as he came to me and repaired it.

This is extremely important if you need your vehicle to keep you mobile. The best part, he worked on my vehicle on a bright Saturday morning! Geez talk about work ethic! "I had a concern with the my vehicles rear suspension bushes and was going to be charged an exorbitant amount by another mechanic I had received terrible service from....I will never use them again Moon automotive in Half Moon Bay. I came across this site by chance and read reviews on Noble Auto services and decided to call and speak to the owner. The reviews given by other customers are extremely true to their word and Andy is a testament to customer service in every way! From the minute we started talking over the phone Andy showed real concern for my problem. Andy showed real understanding of my problem and the quote I had been given.
