"Steve communciated with us via email and text. He came onsite to give us a quote on how to fix up the half-finished job a shower installer did to our shower, install our vanity and fix the rot in one of our windows. He inspected our shower to make sure it was not leaking and offered suggestions on how to finish the area.

He was meticulous and tidy; he installed our new vanity well - raising it so it would cover up the old marks left behind on the wall from removing the old vanity, and added trim on the sides so it was neat. We are also satisfied with how he repaired the window rot; all that's left for me to do is paint them.

Overall we are happy with the quality of his work, he is reliable, communicative and finished the job in a timely manner."

"Steve came to replace some damaged shingle siding around our home. Very friendly, and reliable, and we were very happy with the result, which looks great. Steve also identified some problem areas that had rotted underneath and got those fixed up at the same time. Would definitely recommend, and will be using again on more projects in the future."

"Steve undertook some interior renovation work and built a deck for me. I was impressed right from the start at the care he took protecting my flooring and ensuring nothing would get damaged during the time he was on site. He also left the place spotless at the end of every day. Steve is methodical and meticulous and obviously takes great pride in his work. I found him honest, respectful and easy to communicate with and he had good ideas and solutions to the occasional unplanned problem. "Steve knocked out a living room window and replaced it with a custom made door that opens out on to our new deck, giving our old 1950's unit modernity, space and outdoor flow. Steve was a reliable, trustworthy and skilled builder. The part of our house at which the door was being installed was uneven in places but Steve sanded things back, sourced off cuts of similar timber flooring, and paid close attention to detail to give it a clean, seamless finish. He really took care and pride in his work. Overall, Steve did an excellent job and we are extremely happy with the result. Would absolutely use Steve again!"

"Steve renovated our bathroom and replaced the kitchen counters. His craftmanship was very good and the job looked great when completed. I found Steve reliable and trustworthy to work in my home. He was also able to arrange other tradespeople to complete the other aspects of the renovations. As Steve is so busy he couldn's start the work for a few months but it was worth the wait. I would use Steve again."

"Contacted Steve after seeing his reviews on NoCowboys and that he lived locally to me. What a find! A highly skilled builder who is willing to take on little fiddly jobs in old houses. His workmanship was of a high standard. You may have to wait a while because he is so busy, but it is worth the wait!"

"While we were in Level 4 Covid-19 lockdown we were urgently required to arrange the removal of a carport at a deceased relatives property. Upon contacting Steve through the No Cowboys website he was able to reassure us that he could fit the job in as soon as Levels permitted.
Steve kept us informed throughout the process and the work was carried out competently for a reasonable rate. He provided photos which was great, as we lived some distance away.
We would have no hesitation in recommending Steve, he is reliable, conscientious and honest and the job was finished to a very high standard."
