    "I was very disappointed with the service received by wild poppies. I received them as a gift from someone on my birthday and the flowers were lovely hence why I choose to order for other family members but I’ve been very disappointed with what was received on two occasions now.

    First order for my neice were tulips and they were droopy and the cupcake arrived to the birthday girl upside down so that was embarrassing.

    Second order for my partner - flowers but nothing like in the picture and looked as though I’d gathered them from someone’s garden which probably would’ve been a better option ???? and there was no mention that the wine ordered was red.

    Pretty pricy for what you receive and even more so when they look nothing like what you saw on the picture. I understand it’s subject to what flowers are in season ect but at least they could resemble the picture in some way.

    Doubt I’ll order again but safe to say I was pretty embarrassed being the one to gift those to other people.

    "Paid for flowers for a birthday, and got an email stating that they will be unable to deliver with the date I requested. Rather than calling me they sent an email asking if there was something else that would work, but at this point it was too late. I did leave a Google review and received an apologetic review from the owner who promptly actioned a refund. This conversation made my overall experience a lot better. It appears the delivery issue is cause through courier. Still a phonecall would have been ideal."

    "my order never arrived and i have had no response from WP. They tried to tell me it had been delivered and that the courier driver had called me on delivery, which they had not and i asked WP to provide proof of this, but they have opted to ignore my emails instead. i spent $200 here and none of it arrived. the customer service is absolutely appalling and the lack of care is insane. they will not reply or refund my order. "

    "Couldn’t be more disappointed with the experience we have had with Wild Poppies. The driver (Wild Poppies owner Kerry’s husband) delivered 10 sad gerberas that had cost my friend a fortune and crashed into my fence on the way out smashing our electric gate sensor. They will not reply to numerous emails or return phone calls. Once we finally made contact with her, she told us to take her to the disputes tribunal and hung the phone up on us. Beware, there are only 3 good reviews on this site. Written by her husband Cliff, Kerry herself and staff member Ashley. All of the other reviews eerily share the same feedback regarding ignored messages and bad customer service."

    "Great gift and well presented, but beware of poor customer service and substitutions. I ordered the Vanilla Dream Deluxe gift packet, which comes with Ecoya products (candle, body wash and lotion). An unexpected substitution was made of Guava and Lychee Sorbet products instead of Vanilla - a scent I had specifically avoided because the recipient doesn't like fruity scents. I emailed customer service to express my disappointment but no response. Totally understand that substitutions can be made, but I wish I had the option to change my order, and that their customer service was better."

    My best friend rang me last night to thank me for the gift.
    I asked how they were as I like to give feedback…
    She said her rural postie saw them dying in the corner of the post shop so decided to deliver yesterday so they wouldn’t all be dead
    By the time she got them on her birthday today.
    I paid enough freight for them to be overnight in awesome condition.

    I paid enough money for a decent gift unbelievably disappointed.

    "I ordered flowers for my sisters birthday. They weren’t delivered until the day after the birthday, which was disappointing. Even worse, when questioned as to WHY - they flat out told me they were delivered on the day I requested! “ The date you had selected was the 15th which is why they were delivered then.”.     "I understand that running a small business is tough, especially in these unprecedented times. I ordered a delivery for my friend’s birthday, to find out that my order had missed the courier, which was fine. However, I can’t say I was super impressed with the rude tone of communications from the team regarding the matter. Probably wouldn’t shop with them again as I’ve had such fantastic experiences with other gift delivery companies. Apparently the product was fantastic though, so well done on that!"

    "Order an item online only for them to deliver something else and when you phone they tell you that it say on the website that if the item is not in stock that they will substitute with something else. They should notify you at checkout that is not in stock or when you add it to your basket. When you phone them they just don’t seem to give a damn. Won’t recommend them. Poor service. "

    "I ordered Flowers and cupcakes on the 27th of Dec for delivery on the 3rd of January for my parent's 50th Wedding ann. With being overseas I kept a check on the dates & messaged Wild Poppies early Friday morning to confirm delivery for that day - No reply. I messaged again midday to ask for a reply & confirmation of delivery - No reply, but the status changed to shipped this time. Meaning only picked up by the courier at 1:39PM on the Friday afternoon that the flowers were supposed to be delivered on, & instead of Wild Poppies making it right by contacting the courier & fast-tracking the delivery to Saturday (at their expense for their failure), INSTEAD it all sat in a courier depot & was delivered Monday. Fresh cut flowers & gourmet cupcakes don't do so well over that period of time, so my parents received dried out flowers, & what can only be described as muffins with a blob of pink icing on top. Not only was this disappointing that the company failed on delivering the flowers the date required, but they have also failed to reply to messages, or do anything to make things right. I looked like I had failed to do anything for my parent's special wedding anniversary, & they kept letting down the service they were paid $134 for. My biggest concern is this company has not responded to emails, & they did not deliver the service as I paid for by delivering the items 3 days late."

    "I normally do not leave bad reviews as I know the struggles of running your own small business, however this business does not care for people.

    I received a package to my work address which was ordered through wild poppies from someone who is stalking and harassing me. I called Wild Poppies to block any future deliveries addressed to me from wild poppies to my name and address and was treated with utter disrespect and unprofessional customer service. I have been told that they will not do this. Simply money hungry and unethical."

    "I ordered flowers online. The next day Wild Poppies contacted me to advise they couldn\'t deliver to the area requested, which I thought at the time was great service. I was advised that my money would be back in my account within the next couple of days. I rang back a week later as money was not back in my account, the person I spoke to couldn\'t help me any further but would get the manager to call me. This continued for 6 weeks. I could not speak to the person in charge and no one would return my call. After a month one of the staff members advised that the manager had to go to the bank and do this manually. I was completely disappointed with the customer service and lack of responsibility taken in this transaction. I would have used this company again if they had of come through with their promise at the start of the conversion, It was only once I threaten to taken them to the small claims court that I got action. To me they are a bunch of thieves. Would never recommend them again and would highly advise the refund procedure to be reviewed. I don\'t usually complain but I do not want anyone who may have a delivery address that is not Auckland Metro, to process a transaction online through Wild Poppies"

    "I ordered some flowers through the internet for my wife who was feeling a little down.

    Like many woman she has impeccable taste and is not easy to impress.

    Anyway I ordered these flowers and they were really quite incredible. Got me out of the dog box and that's worth a lot.

    Orederd at 9.50, they were delivered by 11.15

    So totally recommend these guys, I almost didn't buy these do to another bad rating I read here, but someone in the office said they were great so took the punt and glad I did"

    "My husband ordered a gift box and flower arrangement as a surprise for me. It spent more than 4 hours in a delivery vehicle on a really hot day. By the time it arrived the roses were looking tired and they the outer petals had burn marks on them. The gift box was in a carry bag with no ribbon or other attempt to make it look pretty - totally different from their photo I the site - and the gift didn't contain the single rose that was part of the package.

    I rang Wild Poppies and was told "the brown marks are due to pesticide used by the growers" (gee that may be true, but surely you'd remove them??). They offered to send me a 'small posy" of flowers the following Monday in lieu of the gift not being in a box with pretty ribbon, etc, plus to compensate for the missing rose. Then I checked their site and saw that the rose arrangement contained less roses than the photo on their site - and that it was $79 - which I thought was a staggering price for the heads of 7 tired roses in a block of oasis surrounded by cuttings of rosemary.

    The next morning I drove to Wild Poppies to show them the quality of what was sent and the only thing the florist could offer was "I only work Saturdays - but I can put a few more roses in it". I left it there and walked out nearly in tears because I felt my husband had been ripped off and they just didn't want to know about it or take any responsibility.

    On the Monday my husband sent them an email outlining all that had happened and asking what they were going to do about it - after all their website boasts about their "100% customer guarantee - just contact us if you have any problems". Wild Poppies response was a terse email that flowers had been sent to me already. Yes, the "small posy" - nowhere near the value of the $79 arrangement I'd taken back. So my husband tried again - he'd like a credit for the arrangement. By this stage he was really angry. At no time could anyone at Wild Poppies bring themselves to say "I'm sorry". Finally after sending another grumpy email he received an email from Wild Poppies to say his emails had been forwarded to the owner, Kerri. Yay we thought, now we might actually get a genuine apology.

    But alas no - just another email from Sally at Wild Poppies saying "We have high standards... we're satisfied with what we've done for you and we're sorry you're unhappy". Yes that's right - they were sorry we're unhappy - not sorry they didn't deliver a product that actually resembled the lovely photos on their website or that we'd had to go back and forth trying to get them to do something about it.

    The team at Wild Poppies sure could learn about the power of a sincere apology when they make a mistake.

    I would never ever recommend Wild Poppies! They are overpriced and the attitude and unwillingness to take responsibility for mistakes made dealing with them a nightmare. Avoid Wild Poppies - there are heaps of other florists and gift suppliers out there who offer a much better service and product!!
