"Adrian and his team have been exceptional, affordably and brilliantly transforming our two storied beach house with their dedication, craft, and attention to detail. They all treated our house as their own, always cleaned up when they left site, always communicated clearly what they were doing, when and why, and were always friendly, thoughtful, and polite. Adrian organised all the materials and paints, scaffolding, house wash, he even organised a colour consultant (saving our marriage - ha ha) and had a craftsman come and repair several damaged wooden window frames to have all windows working like brand new when the job was finished. My husband had been extremely ill and the team were very accommodating and mindful of our situation. We have a large dog and they all engaged him beautifully. We bought our 1960s house with wooden window frames in 2019 when it appeared to have been just painted. However the paint peeled quickly and was in a really bad state - including rotten wood in places. We now know it was incorrectly painted over stain, without the necessary preparation and without the correct types of paint. Adrian, a veteran old school qualified professional plasterer painter, and his experienced team, worked tirelessly through the summer heat to take all the old paint off to reveal the original wood work. They then treated and painted all surfaces properly and neatly - the finish is just immaculate. So clever. They are coming back soon to paint the house interior, where renovations are being done. Again Adrian helped by introducing us to other quality and proven tradesmen so as to assist us. We are proud of the new quality look our home - which has literally been transformed. We highly recommend Adrian and his team to anyone needing to paint their home or facility. You will not find better."

"Adrian and his team at ACA Painters Ltd did a fantastic job for me. My house is over 40 years old and comprises cedar weather boards with wooden windows and wooden surrounds and sills and a surrounding verandah with wooden supports. When I first approached Adrian my intention was to have the painted areas repainted and to leave the stained weather boards for recoating later on. He arrived promptly and inspected the proposed works. I was impressed with how he immediately seemed to know what was required. The previous painting was about 8 to 10 years earlier and the painted woodwork in the more exposed areas of the house had blistered. Some of the existing paint work had to be completely removed. Other areas in more protected places only required light sanding and repainting. Because it was difficult to assess how much time would be required, we decided payment on an hourly rate approach was best. Adrian outlined what would be the highest and lowest parameters of those costs. He was prepared to offer a fixed price quote but thought payment by the hour would work best for the job I had. He was right; in fact, once the works commenced his team worked so efficiently that very quickly it became clear the proposed works would be completed well within the projected time and around the lower cost estimate. It is important to note that Adrian's upper estimate aligned with a fixed price quote I received from another painting company. Part way through the works I was so impressed with the quality and manner of their work that I decided to extend the works to include staining the weather boards and deck as well. For $3000 more than the original upper cost estimate Adrian gave me I have come out with much more painting/staining done than originally planned. Everything but the roof has now been repainted or stained. So, Adrian’s recommendation of paying by the hour has worked out very well for me. Also, the workmanship has been done to the highest standard. No corners were cut. The painted windows, French doors and their wooden surrounds look brand new again. Where any wood had rotted and required some repairing Adrian had someone to do that. He and Chris did a great job matching existing colours where necessary. Because we could not get the exact same shade of wood stain Chris made up a colour that matched beautifully. At all times the team were very considerate about ensuring I had the type of paint and stain I wanted. When on site the team worked hard, they were never intrusive, and they kept everything looking neat and tidy. After the work was completed, they did an excellent tidy up.

At all times Adrian remained in contact and I was always kept up to date with the work’s progress. Whenever the team had doubts about how something should be done they never hesitated to contact me promptly and decisions were easily made after receiving their advice. I was fully informed of what was going to happen well before it did and always included in the decision-making. There were never any unpleasant surprises for me or finding things had proceeded in a way I was not happy with.

I cannot think of one thing Adrian and his team could have done better. They were excellent communicators and excellent workers. The quality of their workmanship was excellent. Put simply they were a pleasure to work with and I never once had the slightest uneasy feeling about engaging their services. I would not hesitate to use them again and I highly recommend them to others. I could not be on site all the time and to engage people to work on an hourly basis when you are not always around involves trust. Working with Adrian I came to have total trust in him and his team. They never once let me down."

"We have used ACA painting a number of times. We wouldn't use anyone else. The most recent project was painting the full exterior and interior of our house. They are a lovely team of people, good communication, fast, very reasonably priced and most importantly are high quality painters. Adrian runs the team and is a perfectionist. "We highly recommend ACA painting. Our weatherboard church was in bad shape. Adrian and his team stripped all the old paint off to bare timber and used oil based primer and made the cladding look like new. Our church now looks amazing. They painted the roof - 3 coats - and the block wall as well.
ACA Painting finished in the time as promised and under the price estimated.
They are very fussy - take no short cuts. We believe the total cost was very reasonable.
ACA Painting are very professional - fully experienced tradesmen who provide a quality finish.

"This box doesn't provide enough space to rave about Adrian and his team! We found Adrian on no cowboys and selected him to paint the interior and exterior of our villa. You will not find a better painter or a nicer person. His work is perfection. We had our entire house painted and couldn't find a single fault. If we did we have no doubt that Adrian would fix it up until we were happy. Adrian goes above and beyond to make sure you are happy with his work. We had other trades on site at various times and they all commented on the quality of the painting. He is extremely patient (I must have changed colours about 10 times and it didn't faze him). Adrian is also an exceptionally nice person to have around the place (amazing with kids) - and all of his workers are lovely too. On top of all of that Adrian's prices are very reasonable. "Adrian and his team were fantastic!
Were selling our place so really needed to give it a lift. For us ACA Painters did the exterior (3 different colours including trim etc), painted internal doors and considerable amount of internal trim, also some ceilings and small wall areas. Prior to painting the exterior they did a house wash and while doing that they also cleaned decks and balustrades etc. The house looks great!
I would highly recommend this team for any painting job, they're quick and easy to deal with and always with a friendly smile and a bit of banter."

"Adrian managed things very smoothly and he and Phil are nice, friendly, helpful guys. We received a marvellous job. I had read comments about them but took them with a "grain of salt". Not anymore. We were away whilst the preparation was done, however our neighbour particularly commented upon the impressive way the work was done. The painting of the eaves was done "perfectly" as judged by myself and neighbour. The staining of the weatherboards was excellent."
