"100% rating for excellent electrical security camera work completed in a very thorough and professional manner by fully qualified and certified electricians.

The reason for the slightly less than 100% rating with respect to whether the job was completed on time was simply because Lennox was urgently called away to another address to make the outside of that property earthed as someone had received a shock. There was, therefore, no blame on Advanced Eelctrical Services nor on Lennox as this incident was totally out of their control. They did, however, rebook the completion of this job for us for early the following morning and apologised to us for this delay.

"Work was to hook up a hot water heat pump and an induction hob. Awkward job to run cable to junction box for outside heat pump, hook up of induction hob was straightforward. Both jobs done efficiently by Branson in 4.5 hours. Branson estimated a “couple of hours” left to complete hooking up heat pump. The job connecting heat pump to outside junction box was done by Matt. Connection of pump and commissioning took not a couple of hours but 5.75 hours which included driving and seeking an essential part which was known by Branson to be needed the previous week but had not been couriered and so customer (me) was paying $99 + gst for Matt to be driving through traffic to get it. 11.25hrs to do these jobs plus I was asked to pay without seeing invoices (2 separate invoices for same job plus 2 service fees of $55 (which are apparently to cover office overheads). Friendly guys, tidy work but in my opinion pretty pricey."

"Adv. Electrical installed and commissioned a "Dry Living" ventilation system. The two lads who attended were excellent. They worked for over 8 hours with only one small break. They were highly professional, clean and tidy.
After installation and commissioning was completed they spent some time going over the system with me and everything was carefully explained.
Advanced Electrical even visited at very short notice shortly afterwards to rectify what I believed to be a defect.
I am purely delighted with all dealings I have had with this company from Jordan and Alida in the office to the technicians on the job.
All super efficient."

"I was searching for a company to replace all of my ceiling lights (26 plus 4 vanities) with LEDs and was impressed to later learn that the friendly and knowledgeable person who came out to see me and assess what I needed was the head of the company. I felt he really knew what he was talking about and there was no big push. The quote was sorted that day or the next and the job done within the time frame that I had hoped for. Branson and Ethan (the apprentice) were friendly and efficient. Although they didn't have any masks with them, when I requested that they wear the ones that I had on hand, they were happy to do so. When I told them that my daughter was chronically ill, Branson informed me that he had some cold symptoms. I suggested they both take tests, that I had, and they obliged. With two negative tests they soon began. They were obliging at moving around the house to do the rooms as I requested and avoiding being in the area when my daughter had to move between rooms. I really appreciated that. The job was done efficiently and they were patient with me trying out the different light options (yellow vs white) with curtains closed to see what I preferred. They cleaned up after themselves very well. In all, I would recommend this company and would call on them again for any electrical work."

"Admin service from Advanced Electrical was great. They used a contractor for the job Igor from Zesus ElectriX Electrical Services. He did a good job but chipped our newly painted weatherboard and didn't even inform us. Also, was only here for 2hrs but charged for 5hrs.

"I had most of the LED lights in my house replaced as the old ones had failed several times in the 8 years (approx) since I first had them put in by another company. The service was great. The young man who did the work (sorry I have forgotten his name) couldn't have been better. He was friendly and communicated well what he would do. The workmanship was great and he cleaned up everything before he left. I know where to go next time I need an electrician!"

"Very quick and efficient service during lockdown, much appreciated. The company phoned me for details, sent through the terms, and a notice about expectations around lockdown safety etc so I could prepare the lounge in advance. Ben phoned before arriving, gave me an accurate estimate of when he'd arrive. When he did arrive, he wore all protective items, gives, respirator etc. He was quick and solved the issue with no bother. Gave me some good advice about the light fitting too.

"I had issue on Electrical power supply to my house during this Lockdown period. I did Google search and found Adavnced Electrical. "We could smell electrical burning, so turned everything off through fear of a fire. We found Advanced Electrical through a Google search. Electrician Ben arrived earlier than he said he would, which was great. He quickly identified the problem as being with an old switch and wiring in the fuse box. He liaised with Vector Energy to come climb up a power pole over the road to switch off our mains, and then replaced the switch and some wiring. Ben communicated clearly and was very nice to deal with. We were happy with the cost of the job, and look forward to Ben coming back to fully rewire our whole (old) house once the COVID-19 lockdown level permits. Cheers, John in Mt Eden."

"On the first day of lockdown, we had no hot water. I rung two electricians who didn’t want to know. Looking on line I came across Advanced Electrical. From the first call, I found they were professional and helpful. Ben came around and found the problem. He was able to replace the burnt out element with a new one, after draining our cylinder. "Our initial contact on the phone was Jess who was friendly and helpful.Ben the electrician phoned to give us an ETA to come and sort out a problem with our hot water. He arrived promptly and observed all correct lock down procedures. As this was the Thursday before Easter weekend we faced the prospect of no hot water for the next 4 to 5 days due to a broken thermostat which had to be ordered in, however he worked some magic and procured one so that we did not have to face that situation. He then discovered the problem went further and liased with Vector to have a technician come and check the switchboard and consequently the power lines and fuses which uncovered a problem in the street. Ben certainly went the extra mile to help us in this differcult time, I would certainly recomend A.E.S"

"The person who took my call was efficient and understood what I required. I had Ben arrive little earlier than planned but since it's lockdown-time, I had no-where to be. He was thorough and methodical in locating my problem. Was an easy issue but we still needed to decide why it occurred and much was discussed. Can't really say if it was "value for money" as haven't needed an electrician that much before. I think it's on par to what I've heard. "We had Ben come and fix our hot water cylinder during the lockdown period. Arrived quick and he tried his best to take out the jammed element. Contacted plumber for us to replace the cylinder since it cannot be fixed and come back the second day after the new cylinder is installed to connect the power. Good communication and detailed price. "Ben and Advanced Electrical were fantastic. Easy to deal with through email and over the phone to arrange services then when Ben showed up, he showed up promptly with everything he needed. "TERRRIBLE! RIP OFF! Find someone else!
Cancelled first appointment, arrived late for second appointment after we left work early to be at home at scheduled time.
We booked as card was in local cafe (less than 5 minutes from our house)
Charged for travel time during rush hour traffic due to their delay, in order to pick up parts even though they would have been to the electrical supply store numerous times prior to our appointment.
Quoted $150 to $180 and then charged over $400.
Charged for an hour and a half worth of time when was only present for 40 minutes.
Called back as two switches were installed with on/off wrong way up. Only fixed one so one switch is still the wrong way up.
Face plate does not fit properly, and does not look right.
Dodgey bill with item costs not itemised and added unspecified costs.
Do not use."

"Ben was friendly and polite, and had no trouble diagnosing and fixing the problems with our light fittings or replacing our old noisy bathroom fans with nice new quiet ones (which he went and bought once he saw what was required). He was very careful to check with me on some small cosmetic details and made sure to tidy up after he had finished. I would not hesitate to ask him back next time I need an electrician.
When he wasn't able to come on the day originally scheduled, Jordan kept me informed and arranged another time."

"We had AE come to our dance studios to replace some old wiring and plug points. They were very accommodating with our limited access times, due to classes running throughout the day, and the job was completed quicker then expected.
