"***I would caution anyone who are thinking of using this company***
A majority of my house is already in uPVC double glazing retro fit, therefore when I asked James to quote the last two windows there was no feedback on the fact that the kitchen window is not appropriate for double glazing. Instead they did an appalling and awful finish on the job and left a mess. The window doesn't completely shut. They should be called "Cheap and Nasty". I now have Themalframe glass coming to fix their mistake. I would never recommend this company to anyone."

"Having checked out the rave reviews about Affordable Glass, I decided to try them out with 6 of our broken windows in our old 1920's house. From the outset I could see why they get glowing reviews. I was so pleasantly surprised how quickly the tradesperson could come out and all confirmed via text including a 'I'm on my way text' which was awesome. Incredibly inexpensive to fit a cat flap in a balcony bi-fold door to allow my cat to go out as he pleases. Get behind this business, and it's local too. A bonus. Thank you very much James. "I can not say enough good things about James and the team at Affordable Glass!
Initially got them in to replace a pane of glass on front door that a moving company had cracked. Contacted them, got a quote back that same day and the job was done within 3 days.
Next job was to install a couple of cat doors. There was a mix up with one of the doors installed in wrong door but again James has been fantastic getting in contact promptly and organising this to be sorted right away.
Recommended business - super friendly, invoice promptly.

"Needed windows reputtied on 1920s weatherboard. Communication was very easy. Brendan came round and assessed which windows needed to be redone and to what extent. He worked quickly and efficiently. He was professional and friendly and advised me on how long to wait before painting the putty. Happy to recommend this company."

Communication
James responded quickly to my email request, clarified what information was required for both parties. He didn't try to up sell me on things I didn't need, and was honest about what could be done. We had a brief phone call to hash out further details & with their workman on the day and everyone was unfailingly polite.
The work
Their workman showed up, did an amazing job, cleaned up after himself and left me with a spotless replaced window, what looks like a cleaned window next to it & was in and out with no fuss even though it was a bit difficult to get to our house.
Cost
Their quote actually came in at the lowest! There was no hidden costs, they explained the payment terms even before I had committed so I knew what I was in for."

"Broke a section of the wooden window frame off. Was waiting for them to at least mention it, or tell me how it happened, but they finished up and left without even talking to me. The putty work was okay, but a section is not even smoothed out.
Edit: They did rang up to explain things. They say it was already broken, I say it wasn\'t etc. Edited rating to reflect courtesy."

"Affordable Glass were great. They replaced my bathroom window within 24hrs. They managed to closly match it to the existing style, as the older style was no longer made. To top it off they also took away the broken glass and cardboard I had used to block off the window.
