"A well run service. From my email request the next day a call from Richard. I explained the problem, he explained the cost, the date was set for two days ahead. Ewen called he was on the way, and at the job explained what he would do. We had a garden bin but he was concerned the sludge would be too heavy for us as OAP to wheel up the drive, and wheeled it to the back of the section emptied it neatly and put lime on it. Hosed all around the drain. Ewen is a friendly helpful person. This service was so good ( when often this is not the case) I would recommend them 100%."

"Highly recommend. Excellent customer service and a job well done.

I recently used this plumbing company to unblock our gully trap and drain. I was really impressed with their excellent service.
Found them online and emailed expecting a next day response. It was Sunday.
Richard called that same day. The process was clearly explained, a fair quote given, and we agreed a date and time.
Next day I received a follow up call from the plumber saying he was “on his way”. He arrived on time, explained the process, reconfirmed the cost, and set about getting the job done.
The trap and drain were cleared, the area cleaned and all with very little disruption to our household.
He told me about the blockage and provided additional information about the type of drain pipes, location of water mains, possibility of future tree root damage and what could be done about it.

I was not looking forward to sorting this issue as I’ve received poor customer service in the past from other companies. No call back, late arrival and poor comms. I chose them based on pricing alone.

This company (Alpha Drain Unblocking) took the stress out of everything. They were professional, informative, efficient, cost effective and friendly. Great customer service makes a difference. Thank you."

"We had sold our house and the new purchasers came yesterday (Sunday) for a pre-purchase inspection prior to settlement date on Wednesday. We received an email together with video footage of a problem they found in the bathtub with water that was slow to drain and the real estate agent asking on their behalf for us to rectify the problem.
I quickly rang Alpha Drain Unblocking and spoke to Richard. Richard was able to move a couple of jobs around to fit us in for 12:30 pm that Monday to come and fix the problem. Ray was prompt and efficient, ringing 15 minutes before he was due to arrive. He was very quick and knew exactly what he was doing and how the drains became blocked in the first place. Small stones had blocked the gully trap (most likely grandchildren playing a game of see how much stones we can put down the drain). He retrieved a bucket full of small brown stones that had somehow found their way into the drain and therefore blocking water from draining efficiently from the bath. He took the time to explain what he was doing and cleaned up and disinfected where he was working.
I would fully recommend Richard, Ray and Alpha Drain Unblocking to anyone.

"We had a blocked gully trap and contacted Alpha Drain. Richard came at 8am the next morning and was totally professional at explaining the problem and removing the blockage with hydro-blasting. "I had w blocked sewer drain to be cleared. The cause however was more subtle. Installation of a replacement toilet turned out to be incompatible with an air pressure valve which was common on older toilets. Alpha responded immediately. Dave cleared the blockage but then went the step further of analysing why it had occurred, tested the flush with and without the pressure valve and stopped the problem recurring. "Spotted one of the Alpha Drain vans on the road, gave them a call as they looked tidy and professional. "Contacted Alpha DrainUnblocking via 0800 number from website. to unblock a sewage drain at our home in Westmere. Richard Thompson responded within the same day and provided an estimated time to check the problem.
