"We initially thought our dishwasher was leaking, and the insurance company told us it probably wouldn’t be covered as it seemed like a gradual leak. They advised us to get a builder’s report, so we contacted Geoff from Aries Builders. He came out, did a proper investigation, and found the real issue was actually the hot water cylinder.
He provided a detailed report, and thanks to that, the insurance company agreed to cover the repairs. The team carried out the work promptly — they were tidy, professional, and the final finish was excellent. Evan managed all the back and forth with the insurance company questions, which took a huge weight off our shoulders. We’re really impressed and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Aries Builders."

"We used Aries Builders after storm damage caused significant issues at our property. The team took care of everything from replacing damaged framing and reinstating the roof to organising the electrical work and making sure everything was left watertight and tidy.

They also upgraded our laundry area with new cabinetry and benchtops while they were on site and it honestly came out better than we expected. Every part of the job was well managed, and nothing felt rushed or overlooked.

A big thank you to Pam and Evan in the office for their friendly communication and for keeping us updated throughout nothing was ever a hassle. The tradesmen were also great to deal with polite, respectful, and just lovely to have around.

"The detail I was given about the job before it was started help me understand what would be involved. I appreciated the fact that I was informed when a workmen was coming and what time and if for some reason there was a hold up I was informed. I had several small jobs Plus a deck. Several different builders from the Aries team did the different jobs efficiently into a high standard. I would definitely use them again."

"I had a burst pipe in the ceiling which caused damaged walls and ceilings , plus door frames.
After the project received approval from the insurance company, Aries Builders undertook the work.Communication throughout was excellent.
All of their staff and sub contractors were friendly and efficient. Just waiting for two doors to be rehung, after off site painting and the job will be finished.

"The Team at Aries Builders did a great job, and were very resourceful to complete a deck rebuild which required 2.5m piles (it was unknown that they needed to go that deep prior to the job) and less than 900mm access for a drilling rig. Glad Geoff had the right contacts to find the right person and equipment, and thanks to that person too, (sorry I didn't get your name, but glad you could do your stuff)

They also broke up old concrete path and replaced with pavers and Riverstone. Which got added onto their job along with a couple of other repair jobs.
Very happy with work and they just got stuck in and got it done, I think a few others would have given up. Special thanks to Geoff for all his communication and going the extra mile, including talking to neighbours to try ang get digger access (as I wasn't able to be there).

Job was still completed within a reasonable time despite the unforeseen hurdles. The cost of the work was fair for the work that ended up needing to be done. Professional job and skilled guys, I'm happy to recommend these guys."

"We are superannuants in our 70s and 80s. Am I so glad to have found Aries Builders. We have needed lots of bits and pieces done around our house and it has all been carried out quickly and professionally from rotting eaves, fencing, solid plastering, house painting and work in our garage. My previous experience with another building company was not a pleasant one, and it was so refreshing to have a job go ahead perfectly this time.

I found Peter and his team friendly, competent, and capable. They more than met all my expectations. My home uses a special weatherboard, and there was none like it in Auckland. However, Peter managed to find the last few bits in Christchurch, and arranged freight from Christchurch to Auckland.

When I asked for some additional work to be done, this too was performed with a friendly “can do” attitude.

"I was notified of an issue by the tenant early in the morning and emailed Peter seeking his assistance. Aries Builders had attended the premises before lunch and reported the diagnosis. I approved the proposed course of action that day. I followed up on the job a week later to learn when it would be done. I was surprised to learn that the works had already been completed. The tenant is very happy with the manner the issue was addressed.

I recently referred a work colleague to Peter when he sought assistance with a building job that had gone awry at his home. He was very pleased with the remediation works undertaken by Aries Builders."

"Peter and his team came to our rescue just before Christmas - we needed urgent work completed to complete a sale. The scope was identified quickly with a thorough investigation. The work was started quickly and finished promptly particularly given the time frames needed.
Aries workmanship and standards were without fault and to us second to none. The finishing touches, gib, stop and paint were also immaculate and our home was left completely cleaned up after the work completion. It was also nice to observe that with a lady in the house the guys were respectful, polite and of course their natural friendly selves.

"Had advertised to look at leak in bathroom and Aries Builders was quick to respond . The leak had caused damages to the interior wall so they not only organised a plumber to fix the shower , they sorted the builder to fix the wall etc after providing advice to dry the walls. "Our rental property in Manukau needed a lot of maintenance and Peter was quick to respond to our initial call and gave us a very reasonable quote. As we live on the other side of Auckland, it was very reassuring to have Peter and Dee in charge of managing the repairs. The contractors were very efficient and skillful. "Peter and his team at Aries Builders have taken on the unenviable role of managing and undertaking the remediation of a commercial building whilst negotiating a difficult relationship between ourselves and our new tenant. I was assured that the 25mm subsidence to the rear concrete block wall over the past 60 years was not an indicator of imminent collapse. In two phases his extended team of contractors have identified the root cause of issues and resolved them. Their liaison with the various parties has been excellent. The tenant's claims of poor workmanship months after the works were completed were able to be countered by finding Peter's email sent a week after the leak has been repaired confirming that there had been no recurrence after the subsequent rain. The tenant has yet to provide evidence of any recurrence. The independently prepared Condition Report accompanying the Deed of Lease identifies that the property is in a 'good condition'. I am looking forward to receiving the quote for the third phase to complete the remediation works."
