"July 2023 an after hours emergency call was made to Damien and Renee from Barrier Roofing to secure a roof which had blown off in a storm, there was no hesitation working into the night, it than became an insurance claim, there was excellent dialog between them and the insurance company to have the roof replaced as well as other work carried out on the building at the same time. the installation was completed to a high standard and final inspection carried out by RDM Ltd who reported that the… work was carried out to a high standard.

This year we had a partial roof replacement done on another building again the communication and workmanship was carried out to a high standard.

We recommend Barrier Roofing under the management of Damien and Renee to be recommended in every aspect of their workmanship.

"I completely endorse Barrier Roofing. This is the only roofing company out of 4 contacted that was willing to replace just the damaged area rather than recommending the whole roof be replaced. More than that, the care and attention paid by the entire team from Renee in the office to Damien and the roofers was exemplary. Because of a busy schedule, they took the trouble to cover the area with a tarp and twice came to readjust it and shake it free of water. The communication was exceptional and… the team completed the job in the projected timeframe and to cost. The professionalism and kindness helped a great deal in what was initially a very stressful situation for me. I simply cannot recommend this company highly enough."

"We had storm damage and required repair under insurance. Bruce arrived when arranged to provide a quote - we then had a bit of a wait for the quote(with several calls made). Eventually got the quote and insurance approval for the repair. Deposit was paid and we heard there were delays with scaffolding due to demand. We waited....and waited. Eventually the insurer phoned to ask how the repair was. We replied we had heard nothing so both myself and the insurance rep contacted Barrier. A few weeks… later a scaffolder appeared in our driveway with no warning to arrange the scaffolding and said he wasn't the reason for the delay(??). So I gave the scaffold person our contact number - few days later they contacted me to say scaffolders would be there and then named the person from Barrier doing the repair who was to come the next day. Quite odd there was no direct contact from Barrier but as it had been nearly three months after the quote we were happy to just get the job done. So to conclude - happy with repair (see update below) but mixed feeling about timeframe and contact because timeframe was pathetic and contact did not exist. Note just over a year after the work we had another contractor question why no breathe holes were drilled on our mortar....we assumed Barrier were professional but turns out they don't know what they are doing. We need another contractor to fix the supposed repair they did :-("

I am glad to hear you were happy with the end result, however do share and understand your frustration around prolonged timeframes – The business has since sold and is under new management which we believe has had a profound positive impact on the service and expertise offered. Under new management we employee a full time Customer Service Representative to ensure all of our customers receive excellent customer service and are regularly updated on the progress of their project and are provided with realistic timeframes. You made mention of needing a contra and ironically I think the new Barrier Roofing is just that."

"This company did an excellent job on my roof - replacing original Decramastic with Colour Steel. Also included was metal spouting and down pipes. Thoroughly professional service throughout, always keeping me up to date and with full attention to detail. Their quote was actually the most competitive of four (like for like) but was to the highest standard I would expect from any company, regardless of price. Can't recommend them enough. "

"I recently had my decramastic tile roof resurfaced by Barrier Roofing.
My dealings with this company were very good from quote through to completed job.
Paul was prompt in providing a detailed quote and followed up within a few days.
Pita the Operations Manager was very professional and kept us informed as the job progressed. He arranged for some rusty guttering, which had not been included in the quote, to be replaced
The team that did the work, arrived when they said they would, did the… job with a minimum of inconvenience and cleaned up afterwards.

I'm very pleased with the end result and highly recommend them."
