  "Bert was a pleasure to work with. We used him and his team to replace a boundary fence and also re-do a path at the rear of our garage by installing a retaining wall. Bert had clear suggestions re what work best for the path and was creative, giving us choices.

  Our neighbours were very happy with the fence and subsequently asked Bert to do some additional work for them.

  The work on the fence and the path was done quickly and efficiently and we are really happy with the result.

  "We spent nearly a year dealing with Insurance Company recommended and other tradesmen to obtain a quote we felt was reasonable and that the contractor was capable of carrying out the task at hand. Our fence, which was concrete block on solid concrete footings with wood panel inserts had collapsed. Bert came around, inspected the job, advised us on how he would go about removing the old fence and replacing it with a new one. He then called in his bobcat contractor to ensure that the job was… possible and access, which was tight, was feasible. Two days later we had a reasonable quote and a promised start date of later that week. We accepted and were very impressed with Bert's communication over the time on the job and the final outcome. Everyone has commented on how great our fence looks. I could not recommend Bert and his team highly enough and will certainly use him again in the future.

As I live in New Plymouth he was good on communication and updates on the project and I felt confident with his decisions up in North Shore without having to travel up there and check the job all the time.

  "Bert and his crew built a small deck with stairs and the framing for a fence for us. It was a tricky site because of the rock involved. They did a good job, keeping us well informed along the way and tidied up when they were done. We were very impressed, we would happily use them again and recommend them to friends."

  "I can\'t rate Bert highly enough - he built a retaining wall on our driveway and a fence at the front of our house. He took care of everything from removing the old block walls and some unwanted trees to fixing the new letter box once the fence was built. He kept in touch every day so we always knew how things were progressing.

  Bert\'s attention to detail and professional manner are fantastic and it shows when you look at the finished fence. He even cleaned up every night - he\'s the… tidiest builder we\'ve ever used. Definitely recommend and would use again. Thank you."
