"Joel is very knowledgeable and friendly. We heard rats scuttling around in our roof. Joel inspected our property inside and out and imediately located where the rats were getting access. He located traps left by the previous owners and made sure they were placed well and serviced. We haven't heard any rats since his 1st visit. "I found a wasps nest in our garden shed and called Bipest Services off an internet search and am very glad I did! It was a Saturday afternoon and Joel took the call and said he would be coming past our place in 30 minutes. He arrived bang on time, checked out the nest and the rest of the shed, then went ahead and treated it immediately. He said they would all be gone by the morning but to call him if not. He was right, they were all dead and I could just knock the nest into a bag. Joel did an excellent job very quickly and I am very happy to recommend him!"

"Discovered bumblebees nesting in our roof and coming through the chimney into the lounge. Popped into no cowboys and contacted Joel. Communication was great and he turned up on time. Did a spray into the roof and said to let him know if they were still coming in. He came back a few days later for a further spray.

"My neighbour and I have engaged Joel to do ant spraying on our two adjacent properties for the last few years and have always found him to be prompt, very reliable and reasonably priced. He is very knowledgeable and can answer any queries regarding various pests and treatments/frequency of control. Nothing is a problem and on last visit when the weather was uncertain offered to come back the next day. Given that I am in the eastern suburbs of Wellington and he is in Upper Hutt I was impressed. He is very professional and friendly - gets on with the job and gives you an explanation of treatment and findings on completion. His treatments over the last few years have proven to be most effective and long lasting.

Being approx. 2 weeks off Xmas, and with overseas family about to visit, I asked Joel if it would be at all possible to complete the borer ceiling cavity job before Xmas. "Joel cleared out rats in my roof space. He came around very quickly, was pleasant to deal with, and was very patient with difficult access into the roof (and dealt with it well). He visited three times, which was necessary to complete the job properly, and cleared 8 rats (including three young ones in one trap, which might possibly be a record?). He also gave good, helpful advice on both ongoing rat control outside the house and some other pest questions I put to him. It has been all quiet in the roof since, so definitely recommended."

"Rang Joel on Friday morning, 8am, told him of of wasp issue. I said I would be home at 4pm and this was the agreed time for him to come to our property. "Excellent friendly personal service. Always get a prompt reply to email. Joel will set date for requested services to be provided and will always take into account weather conditions when setting appointment time, e.g. outdoor spraying. Very informative and thorough in inspecting property and identifying and targeting "hot spots" of infestation.
Have previously used another pest control provider for ant infestation but since engaging Bipest Services have noticed a definite improvement in the control and reduction of ants on the property. Huge difference!

"I emailed Joel on Sunday and heard back from him the same day, the next day he was around in the morning to treat the wasp nest. He then came back in the afternoon and had a look in the ceiling to confirm that the nest was dead.
Joel was helpful from the get-go and was there quicker than I could have hoped, those wasps didn't stand a chance!

"Joel responded to my email and arranged his visit to suit my availability.
We discussed the ant findings and their locations .
Joel then treated the outside sections. However live ants were coming in beside my bed. He explained what he needed to do, then shifted the bed. When he had finished he asked for the vacuum cleaner so that he could clean up the dusty corner by the bed. This was appreciated."

"Having had possum problems in the past, we called Bipest Services immediately when we discovered evidence of a possum near our compost heap. It was reassuring to speak to Joel, who arrived promptly armed with 2 cages and some apples. Over the next few weeks, we ended up catching 9 possums. Much more successful than when we tried to catch them on our own a previously, and caught none at all. Good to have an expert on the job. Sad for the possums but necessary for the protection of our native birds. Not to mention our roses and our apple tree! He gave us good advice on having the local council support us with the problem also. We are grateful to Joel, who was knowledgeable, friendly and efficient. He also helped us with a minor ant problem. We will engage his services again with any future problems, and have no hesitation in recommending Joel for dealing with assorted pests."
