"Paid on 9TH of August for a towbar,customer came in today for fitting,towbar didnt arrive..Enquired in the morning Judy said it left but she will find out and let us know,She didn't call back,i followed up at 4.30 {customer waiting} and she wouldnt come to the phone but told Tony {Manager} that its in Wellington already.I sent a staff to the Strait depot to pick up in heavy traffic.Staff of Strait shipping told it was only picked up at 4.59 today in Christchurch.We are based in… Wellington..They lie and Lie and Lie=Not recommend to deal with them.Ref # is W13694657 {TRACK N TRACE}.They didnt even supply track n trace #..Bunch of liers.."

"The experience of purchasing through Blackwell Loadmaster Ltd was initially very good, deposit was paid and awaited items to be shipped down and installed onto vehicle. Goods arrived in both damaged condition and incorrect dimensions, no real dramas other than the fact of serious inconvenience to myself. Blackwell Loadmaster remeasured for correct dimensions and assured me all would be fine...unfortunately replacement bars arrived again with incorrect dimensions and at this point the manager… Mark Calcott had what can only be described as a child's tantrum, the end result being him informing me Blackwells Loadmaster would be reneging on the deal, removing the bars and sending me on my way. I wish to point out the team in the workshop were extremely professional and pleasant to deal with, however the behavior of manager Mark Calcott was disgraceful and does this team a great discredit."

"Worst work I have ever seen. Installed the tow bar by drilling through my boot so wasn't attached to anything structural but they did leave the metal shavings in the boo for them to rust. They also left the steel exposed they had drilled through without protecting it from rust as well. Only had one decent fixing and the bike rack used to be enough for the tow bar to bend. Poor workman ship. Would never use again."

"Would not recommend Blackwell Loadmaster.
Had a bike rack and bikes loaded on one of their tow bar and the hole tongue bent. Took the tow bar back as it appears to have bent through were they drilled a hole for the safety chain and was confronted with a very abusive owner, tried to tell me it was illegal to have a bike rack on a tow bar? Customer service was zero and he was not willing to accept the faulty tongue would be replaced under warranty. Ended up being charged $80 for a replacement… tongue that they made, then they would not fit it without charging an extra $20 for a 2 min job. Ended up fitting it myself to discover it would not fit as they had cut it incorrectly, had to take it to another workshop for a modification and was told its was poor grade steel. I would simply recommend you do not use them."
