"Dan has completed a bathroom reno for me and was such a professional and his workmanship is fantastic, little changes were no hastle and he kept me informed of how progress was going. "Dan is the ultimate professional contractor. We contacted him after reading his advert in the local newspaper. We had a flood (a long term leak resulting in a large section of our floor having to be lifted, replaced, piles checked, gib checked etc for water ingress). Right from the outset, he set a time to meet - and arrived - assessed the work required, thoroughly and competently, and delivered the quotation within the timeframe agreed upon - an absolute PLUS! He was also able to suggest… an idea for a kitchen ( which was not the first part of the job) and seemed remarkably capable of interpreting and matching my wishes to my budget - almost mind reading what I wanted - he was on the same page all along. Once we accepted his quote, he kept to the timeframe, arrived on site and worked methodically and neatly - whilst we still had to live in the house! There were no blow outs in budget, his work is impeccable and I feel that we were truly so lucky to have met him. His co-workers for plumbing were exceptional too. I would recommend him as an exceptional craftsman, and an exceptional person who has an eye for detail and perfection. I now have new floors and a bright new kitchen and am extremely happy with the work done. One thing is certain - if anything needs to be done in our house, or that of my daughters, Dan will be the first person we will contact."

"Dan was great he replaced my ranch sliding door with a normal door and wall really quickly and it looked spectacular. When unforseen issues happened like when we found out the floor was rotted he fixed that too with out taking any extra time. He did the job exactly the way i wanted and the new front door looks awsome, Im so glad i choose Dan to go with. 10/10 will hire agian when i do the rest of the house."

"Daniel (and his side-kick Martin) just completed an extensive decking job at my residence in Bucklands Beach. they were both excellent; prompt, efficient and worked a full day without ducking off to other jobs. "Dan swapped a window for a ranch slider, and removed two interior walls in our house - work requiring council consent. He managed the entire process for us - arranging an architect to draw plans, an engineer to make the necessary reports, and not only completing the job but arranging all the necessary inspections as well. It made the process easier for us, not knowing what we were doing.
Dan knew what was allowed and required, and was careful to keep our interests in mind. Communication… was great - we always knew where things were at. He was also pretty good at adapting plans - as we kept dropping things on him at the last moment!

Very happy with the final result."

"Dan has converted a room above our garage to a self- contained studio. He managed the whole project from design, working with the architect, sourcing good quality materials at reasonable prices, to the completion of a high quality job. Dan installed a mini kitchen and a fabulous bathroom. He has great communication skills, informing us at each stage of the job and making sure sub-contractor deadlines were met. He made sure building inspections by council were signed off to comply with… regulations.

He is a highly skilled carpenter which showed in his finishing work with an eye for detail. He is very honest, reliable and very organised. We would highly recommend him and would definitely use him again."

"Dan did an excellent job repairing a badly damaged concrete front entrance path to my central city bungalow matching decorative detail and creating an attractive entrance to my home. He also built new front and rear timber decks. The entire process was managed by Dan, design, sourcing materials etc. He did a high quality job with minimum disruption to our household. He completed the job within my budget and communicated with me effectively at all stages of the process. "We were very fortunate to have Dan undertake our job - a boardwalk property entry/deck and reinforced concrete flood protection wall under a scheduled tree. The work was covered by a Resource Consent. Dan is highly competent and conscientious, a very good communicator contributing excellent advice on superior lower cost materials and other details.
Some interested in the work were expensive, proposing costly but inferior materials. Others could not complete all aspects of the job.
We are… delighted by the result Dan produced and recommend him accordingly."
