"Justin has helped us with a number of projects over the last 2 1/2 years and with each one we have been incredibly grateful for all he has delivered. It started just after we moved in and he was recommended to us to lay concrete for a shed. This quickly turned into building the shed itself. Since then, he has built a washing line area, dog run, swing, hot tub area including concrete base and outdoor shower area and creation of a beautiful courtyard area.
We live in a very high wind zone so anything we do needs to withstand all the elements. In all his work Justin listens carefully to what is needed, makes suggestions based on his years of experience (his engineering background even informed his creative solution for our swing), and is cost conscious and pragmatic in his recommendations. He communicates scheduling and requirements clearly and openly, and has always been extremely reliable and consistent.
The courtyard project was a relatively big one involving creating the base for the paving (a careful 10mm per 1 m drop, installing the drainage, digging a trench to encase the timber pillars (this involved very carefully working around piping), installation of the pillars fixing them in deep concrete to secure them in the elements, fixing the corten steel and installing the fireplace.
Justin has also consistently gone above and beyond, such as helping us move large pots into place, creating weatherproof boxing for the outdoor shower hot water piping, and providing really great advice on a range of building and DIY topics.
I trust Justin as a builder, respect his work ethic and definitely highly recommend him!"

"We are very pleased with the recent work we had done by Buildstrong. It was quite a complicated job after a fire involving:

repairs to inside and outside cladding
installing a new fitted kitchen
replacing interior and exterior doors, fitting new locks
building a fence
plastering, painting interior and exterior walls and woodwork

"First meet Justin when we purchased a relocated hall, Justin completed the installation of all the double glassed windows, making the hall weather tight as well as liveable.
Justin is a top quality tradesman, who is a pleasure to have in our home, his honesty and integrity is unquestionable.
Justin will be back at the end of Feb to complete some remaining work which will mean all the hard work require a skilled tradesman will be completed

"Justin has been an absolutely excellent trades person/builder on the two jobs we have now asked him to do. I would totally reccomend him for the fact that he takes on a variety of jobs, is quick on the quotes, a fast worker and very reliable with realistic price for a job. His first job was to build us a fence which he completed in two days. the second was to rennovate/reclad our garage. Again an excellent result, and would definately use him again if we need other work done. Thanks a lot Justin-hope to get you back soon in the summer for our back section."

"Justin has worked on our home on a number of occasions. He firstly remodeled our kitchen and we were so impressed with his workmanship that we got him back for more work including interior decorating, updating bathroom fittings and renovating our staircase.

"Justin and his offsider did a magnificient job on our 70 year old garage and recreation room. This was a major project - we had initially planned to demolish the building but then decided to totally refurbish it instead. We had the asbestos wall cladding removed and then they replaced the walls, poured a concrete floor, added strengthening beams, designed and installed a new low-pitch roof, installed new joinery and added weatherboards, insulation and gibbed throughout.

They weather-proofed the old concrete block walls and even painted the new building inside and out in double-quick time. Their attention to detail was great and Justin liased very well with us. We are thrilled with the final result.

Justin is talented and his engineering background enabled him to design and fabricate metal fittings that were needed (e.g. to install my new clothesline).

Very highly recommended."

"We got Justin to removed our 2 bedroom house, which included bathroom, living room,kitchen, and bedrooms. The house was in bad shape but he made it so nice at the end. "We recently had our bathroom renovated by Maintenance Specialists and are very impressed with the results. Justin turned up early every day and cleaned up after leaving each day. The quality of his work is excellent. He is very friendly and did some extra jobs for us while he was here. He sorted out a slow flow on a laundry tub we\'d had fitted about 8years ago and it works perfectly now. Very impressed overall and will use him again and recommend him highly."

"Justin is very reliable, prompt and has high standards of workmanship. For this job, which involved asbestos, he took the proper precautions and disposed of the product in the approved manner.

We had a crisis once with a burst pipe and Justin came out in the dark without hesitation and within an hour the problem was fixed. He is very capable, thoughtful and provides very good advice.
