"Riki and his team recently demolished and rebuilt a new roof system for an old garage which had been neglected for at least 40 years. The old roof had rusted through, had holes in the wall plates and was generally pretty beat up. They came in, provided a very competitive quote and began work within the week. They also managed to work around all the gear stored in the garage with minimum disruption and had the whole thing dried in with a large tarp to deal with Aucklands annual "100 year rain event".

Highly recommend their workmanship and general no-nonsense work ethic. Would love to have them back for more work in the future."

"Made an enquiry about water proofing and repair of some water damage in a lower-level cupboard. Ricki came over and discussed and recommended plan of action. Followed up for quote soon after the visit, Ricki provided the quote, and his team commenced work the next day and completed the following week due to weather. "We recently had the pleasure of working with Ricki from Built by Vision and we can't recommend him highly enough! From the very first meeting he was punctual and professional which set a positive tone for the entire project. He was reliable, honest and took pride in his work.
We needed a number of different jobs resulting from the weather event in 2023. Including removing doors, ceiling, replacing windows and walls, jacking up the house and gibbing in preparation for painting. He organised and oversaw the scaffolding and roofers and replaced batten and board where needed. Some of these jobs only became apparent as work was being done and Ricki provided advice, solutions and nothing was a problem.
He ensured the work area was clean and tidy at the end of everyday which made a huge difference in minimizing disruption to our daily lives.
Ricki communicated every step of the way, keeping us informed about timelines, requirements and any potential changes.

"We contacted Ricki to repair 2 verandahs, needing some roof posts, joists and decking replaced. He was quick to respond, visit, and gave a reasonable quote. Very early on in the job, we discovered some rather scary problems in the walls next to the deck. Ricki was an absolute star. Although there was a lot of extra work involved, he was willing and able to do the repairs one by one as they came to light. He was conscientious about doing it well, and explained it well, and improved the waterproofing so that the problem should never happen again. He even checked around the rest of the house’s perimeter to ensure there were no more unpleasant surprises waiting. Highly recommended!"

"If you're looking for "business as usual" tick box attitude Rick and his team are probably not the best fit. On the other hand, if you are after a flexible competent contractor who actually listens and works with a client we couldn't recommend Rickie more. Our house was built in the sixties and as usual older homes are full of surprises. Did everything go as planned? No, but Rickie found a way to make things work. Nothing was too much trouble and he kept a close eye on the project throughout. He came through again and again and it's clear he cares about his customers. After getting 4 quotes for our job we just felt he was the best fit and we were right. We've lined him up for more work in the future. Thanks Rickie, AJ, Tonga and Soloman"

"well all i can say is our experience with ricky and his fine team has been an awesome one . it is a very well organized and professional business . it has been a very unsettling time for us having gone through the rigmoral of flood damage and insurance process . but ricky from the start has been truly amazing and not just patching over a problem but actually solving it and getting to the bottom of it . the workman ship has been incredible and i guess that comes from having a great team who work so well together . they have helped in so many ways to help restore order to our once beautiful home . they even let my 7 year old watch them and talk (bombard them with questions as 7 year olds do ) he was so inspired . i can only reccomend to these guys to the highest degree . they are magic and nothing is too much trouble"

"Built by Vision Ltd were the only compamy who came in with a reasonable quote, not only quoted well they had a real can do attitude and nothing was a problem.
Ricki and team did an amazing job rectifying damage that was done during the cyclone with downstairs being completely flooded.
They replaced Gib and skirting in 3 rooms, deck repairs replacing rotten boards, extended deck and added a covered in pergola, and replaced weatherboards and built a new retaining wall.

Great communication and were there when they said they would be, attention to detail was outstanding

"Ricki and his team built did quite a few jobs at our home over several months. The biggest being a new kwila deck and stairs. All of the team were friendly, trustworthy, considerate and easy to have around. I really appreciated their honest advice and the thought that was put into everything they did. I liked the extra details they included such as picture framing of the deck and stairs which turned them from being good to stunning.
