"Dan is the tradesperson that you come to No Cowboys hoping to find! After having a bad experience with another company several years ago, we were looking to do a complete overhaul of our bathroom, stripping it right back to the framing.

"Dan removed a non-structural internal wall, and also created a new wall (dividing a room) and hung a couple of doors. The job also required working together with an electrician for parts of it, which Dan organised.
Dan communicated well about what was happening, and completed the job to a high quality standard, cleaning up well at the end of the job. He even gave some building tips to our young son who was very interested in what Dan was doing!"

"I hired BRC to perform quite a big renovation job (a bathroom, re-gib and insulate a large part of the house). I couldn't recommend BRC enough, Dan made the whole thing a lot less stressful with good communication, a little of project management and coordination with other tradesmen and advices. Job was under budget so quite happy about that.

Dan is very approachable and easy to work with, as are his team - all work was of a very high standard.
Dan's estimate for the job was very detailed and clear and his invoices were, also. He provided us with access to his trade account at the plumbing supplier, so we got the benefit of trade discounts.
Much of the work was done while we were overseas, requiring Dan to manage access for his team and ensure security of the property. We had confidence that this would be done, which proved to be the case.

"Dan helped us with our new kitchen - our first major renovation of many to come. Every step of the way was straight forward and easy. He was there when he said he would be, he understood what we wanted (even when sometimes we didn't really understand ourselves!), he co-ordinated all the trades and everything came in at the cost he had estimated.
Most importantly for us he was readily available and willing to answer all our questions and queries and was happy to help with things that didn't really need to be his responsibility, but helped the job run smoothly.

He completed a bathroom renovation, a full kitchen renovation (including demolishing the existing wall between kitchen & dining area), and partial deck rebuild. Dan has installed a set of French Doors for us - removing existing windows and installing the doors and fittings. "Late last year we got in touch with Dan based on his no cowboy rating to look at replacing our large deck with an even larger deck. Right from our first meeting with Dan we got a great feeling about his abilities and approach. Dan commenced work on the deck at the beginning of this year and throughout the whole process we have been very impressed with his level of communication, quality of work, advice and patience with us as we worked through various options and changes as they came up. Even our kids loved having Dan around the place and Dan was very concious of having a kid-safe work area.. The finished deck is exactly what we wanted and it is the envy of our friends and family. Dan undertook the first of our newly purchased house renovation projects - our bathroom. His quality workmanship saw a tired and dated separate toilet/bath, rebuilt into an amazing new combined bathroom.
Dan and all the trade staff that he organised and co-ordinated made sure their work was first class.
Quotes and Estimates for all components were accurate and we had no surprises which is always great with "major cost" rooms such as bathroom etc.

"Following a recent purchase of our home on the North Shore, we planned a major interior renovation. The kitchen and upstairs bathroom were to be completely stripped and refurbished. The main bedroom had internal walls changed to accommodate a walk in wardrobe. We knew how important it would be to select a Master Builder with the ability to plan, prepare and coordinate all the sub-contractors that were required. Early planning meetings were held. Dan listened to our ideas and always advised if he felt there was a better way to accomplish the result. He also advised ways and means where work could be completed more efficiently which resulted in cost savings.
The team is only as good as its weakest link and Dan has a great team of tradesmen including tilers, plumbers, electricians, painters/wallpaper and handymen that are involved in this type of renovation. During the project (March/June 2013) it became clear that he takes great pride in his workmanship and ensures his team follows his lead.
Dan showed honesty and integrity with his chargeable hours. He also always made sure the work area inside was cleaned up after each work day.

"Dan built a new bathroom/laundry for us as well as completely renovating our other bathroom. He was very thorough and in the process of prepping the laundry uncovered a rotten floor in our kitchen as the result of some work done by another less reputable building company (Buildspace) 2 years ago. As the leak was not able to be detected through the outside Dan\'s thoroughness meant that we discovered the problem before we literally fell through the floor and he worked with us, Buildspace and the Insurance company until we got a resolution even though this held him up from other jobs. Dan was incredibly professional, transperant, engaged the right professionals at the right time and works to a very high standard. The tradespeople that he bought in were of an equally high standard. I would recommend him to anyone and am happy to provide pictures of our bathrooms should anyone want to see the quality of his work."

"We had a shower that needed to be replaced due to the previous owner making some dodgy repairs. We purchased a new shower unit at a trade sale and needed a builder to rebuild the shower box and install it. Dan did a fantastic job for us, he gave us a quote we could understand at a fair price.
