"We were incredibly impressed with Sarah's work, definitely the best painter we have ever had.
She prepared the dinged walls in my children's bedrooms so well that once they were painted they looked brand new! She is precise with her edging, colour matching and her finishing. She clearly strives for perfection. She was punctual and communicated well if there was any change to her arrival times etc.

"Sarah painted some high up tricky barge boards, off scaffolding, and did a superb job. She made the effort to get the job done quickly to save scaffold costs, and was able to work in with builders as well. Her finishing quality and attention to detail is superb, and well worth paying for. "

"Sarah's work is the best painting you can find. We generally do our own DIY painting at home and don't trust anyone else to do a good job. However, Sarah is the one painter we will allow to come in and help with our painting. Her professional experience including working as a touchup final painter for the professionals means her work is perfect when it is finished. We did a poor job painting our large lounge ceiling. Sarah came in and helped us put on another coat of paint, and it looks great.… We have a full relocated house we are renovating, and Sarah came in and helped us make it look brand new. Sarah's pricing is fair and her work is the best. You might find a cheaper quote, but you won't find better painting work. We are confident anyone who hires Sarah will be very happy with the painting she does for them."

"We recently renovated our kitchen, dining room, and an upstairs bathroom and toilet. Sarah did all the painting for our five-week project, with the scope of work including walls, ceilings, window frames and skirting. The kitchen now features a high-contrast painted wall, which is amazing.
We are incredibly impressed with the results. Before commencing the painting, Sarah's preparation was comprehensive, and her edge masking was straight as a die.
"Going the extra mile"… describes Sarah's work ethic. Turning up when she stated she would and regularly communicated with us. She recommended the various types and sheen levels of paint, fully supporting our colour choices.

Finally, Sarah returned in her own time to check the project after the other contractors had finished and touched up one or two minor blemishes that had occurred as part of their work.

We highly recommend Sarah to anyone wanting a very high-quality, value-for-money job."

"Sarah has done a few painting jobs for us over the last few years. She is an experienced professional painter, particular with attention to details, and we were keen to have her do our painting work for us. And we still are - she is at present preparing a quote for another job for us. From repainting around all the double-glazing we had installed housewide, repainting doors, repairing small screwholes in walls and ceilings, to larger jobs. Most recently, Sarah repainted our garage door, front… door, and front fences (stained wooden frames with painted corrugated iron panels), and we are extremely happy with the result; it looks as good as new, and we have had many favourable comments from neighbours. Sarah has what I believe is, nowadays, a rare work ethic, punctual and hard working, even suggesting (without the slightest pressure) other things she could do to tidy things up even better for us. We can't recommend Sarah highly enough. She will do a brilliant job for you."

Hi, I’m Sarah Howard and have been living in Hamilton for 26 years. I am a qualified with 23 years experience in mainly residential new work and repaints. Having 7 years of experience with a painting company also doing some industrial and commercial painting has also been valuable. I have been self employed since September 2022.
