"Arrived on time to clean chimney - was here less than 10 minutes in total, and just put rod up and down chimney in about 2 minutes - no ash fell - chimney was clean. Charged for cleaning chimney and company refused to provide discount - insisted putting rod up the clean chimney means chimney was cleaned. Owner called and was very rude."

"I found Ciaran when looking for a chimney sweep on No Cowboys and chose him because of the service offered and the great ratings. I had been disappointed by the chimney sweep recommended by the previous owner of the house as they could not give a definite time of arrival and were quite rude in their communications. Ciaran, assisted by Kim, were the complete opposite. Very friendly, helpful and professional. Arrived on time, explained the issue with our chimney, organised the scaffolding needed to replace it (in a high wind zone!). Ciaran arrived on time and the job was completed efficiently and speedily, and for a great price. We are now enjoying cosy nights by the fire again. Thank you Ciaran & Kim :)"

"Ciaran removed an old double brick chimney and wood burner for us in a 1920s bungalow. He and his team did an excellent job and I highly recommend them.

From promptly responding to the request to quote, to organising the removal in just a few days, the whole process was quick and painless. Ciaran & his team did an excellent job, including a great clean up afterwards. Ciaran also went above and beyond removing a few weeds from our gutter while up on the roof -thanks!. Kim from the office was highly-organized with great comms wrangling the scaff and rubbish removal vendors.

"Emailed a few companies and Complete Chimney Care were the only ones that got back to me within a couple of days. Booking was straightforward. Cieran was amazing- first to every clean the chimney from the bottom up in the 9 years I have had this chimney swept. He said it was more expensive to jump on the roof, so wanted to try from the ground first, to save cost! Really knowledgeable and professional. Had 8 days to pay invoice and now booked in for yearly chimney sweeps!"

"I had researched chimney sweeps and read great comments about Complete Chimney Care. I was surprised at the brevity of the visit. Ciaran would have been gone in under 10 minutes if I hadn’t asked him a couple of questions about my fireplace and to inspect the chimney from the ground for me. I like to have the burner checked by a professional each year to make sure it’s in good working order but Ciaran seemed to just want to do a quick clean and be on his way. I have used other chimney sweep companies over the years and they have all inspected the fireplace more thoroughly."

"Sadly we had a really bad experience and ever since he attempted to clean our chimney we have had smoke pouring back into the lounge. We cant open the woodburner door for less that one second before smoke comes back in. He rushed when he did the job and we got an email invoice 3 minutes after he walked out the front door. My advice, look for someone else other than this company as to date we still have smoke coming back into the house and I hate the way the job was not done properly."

Clear instructions about what was required at our end; the day before they contact you with a one-hour slot so you know when they're coming. Turn up on time when they email you they invoice they offer to book you in for next year which we've done. Very happy to use again and would recommend."

"Technician turned up on time and was very efficient. He showed me how clogged our chimney was and offered to dispose of it in the garden but I said I’d leave that for my mother in law who will place it on her favourite plants. The previous home owner hadn’t taken care of the fireplace and could be a hazard. We received recommendations that we need a few things repaired in the fireplace which they confirmed in a follow up email with photographs, details (I couldn’t remember exact wording) and referral to places which stock the items. The technician also said they could help with installing the items that needed to be replaced which takes a load off of us figuring it out. Really happy with the service and cost. Very reasonable pricing!!"

"looks like a great job replacing the chimney. When they came in to quote we left a key out, No card was left to let us know they turned up & when they turned up to install they had to go away because the roof was still damp, no note left to say they were coming back,Getting a email telling me they will come back in the afternoon, being on site myself, didn't know they sent email until the end of the day, so the person at home didnt know what was happening"
