"Dave was very helpful from the beginning. Biggest difficulty was finding bricks to match our 1970 bricks on our Titirangi house (impossible task). We were closing in an old external laundry door on the brick base if the house. He helped with ideas and options and finding the best match. Made himself available and fitted the job in around other work and made himself available to work the weekend. Daves expereance made the brick laying look easy, when other quotes from other companies said it would be a difficult job. The end result exceeded our expectations."

"I feel so very fortunate to have located Dave via the No Cowboys web site as I found him to be an exceptionaly highly skilled tradesman. "Dave carried restoration of badly cracked brick veneer. This required removing existing bricks and carefully removing old mortar so as bricks could be reused.
The work was carried out very professionally and we are very pleased with the result.

"Dave did a great job cleaning up some old bricks that I'd salvaged from the old wall that are no longer available and rebuilding some brick columns that are made to last - good solid foundations and timber post in middle with bricks tied into it. Recommended."

"My job involved putting a 1600mm x 1200mm window in a concrete block wall. David not only did a quality job, but suggested improvements to the original plans that had been drawn by my designer and engineer. His experience was invaluable in ensuring we had a better product. "Dave repaired some cracking around bricks in the front wall of our house. He also removed and repositioned lose brickwork on a windowsill. He filled gaps by our concrete stairs. "We contacted Dave to quote us for removing and replacing several loose window sill bricks, cracked wall bricks and a broken basement vent on our brick veneer house. Dave arrived the same day and gave us an estimate which was extremely reasonable. This was followed up with a printout by email a couple of days later which was accepted and he said he would be over to do the job that Saturday morning. He arrived promptly went straight to work. We were very impressed with his friendly manner and his very professional and excellent workmanship. We couldn't have asked for a better result. "The first time I saw the work this guy does, I knew he was the brickie for me. The job was small (bricking in a garage door) but required skill to make it look like it was always there. When I arrived the day after - I didn\'t notice he\'d even been in. Unbeknown to me this was the same brickie recommended to me by my timber rep and one I\'d bookmarked on my list from NoCowboys. I\'ve had him on a a job of my own and as a builder I demand high levels of professionalism. D & A Hobson delivered to the highest standard. "After a minor communication problem David really came through and even managed to do the job at very short notice.
