The team have great attention to detail and did a very tidy job. They had patience in dealing with builders delays, and did a lot of gap filling to make everything all watertight and seamless.
The team are friendly and no-fuss and easy to work with and get through the job quickly.

The work was to repair any defects before painting open plan lounge dining and kitchen. Also master bedroom walls and a few other small areas.
Stephen was the painter. I was extremely pleased with his work and was easy to communicate with.
He covered furniture etc well and where required put hooks back for me to hang pictures - also Venetian blinds and light fittings back up.

From the time Nando first visited us to do a quote he communicated well and was very knowledgable about painting plaster houses. Due to good weather Nando\'s team were able to start earlier than projected (yay) and I was amazed at the speed it was done. The back and the side wall had to be stripped completely and this was done well. There was a snafu with the paint colour - the paint supplier\'s fault, but was remedied asap. The work was well done, quick, not too invasive and the final product was exactly what I had pictured in my mind.

65%"We had a team run by Terry paint our house. While the workmanship of the painting overall was fine, there were a number of issues which definitely need work. This included not locking up the house, not turning on the alarm and leaving windows open after they had gone home (house was vacant - in one instance they left the house keys in the door of the house), leaving paint scrapings in the gardens, tracking dirt through the house and not cleaning up afterwards, leaving an awful mess in the… toilet (I had to wipe up after them a number of times....), cleaning paint brushes in the garden (and killing a couple of fish in the fishpond) etc...The paint job was fine but the care of our property was really disappointing. The paint team's organiser, Nando, was great and really helpful but the painting team was a real let down - not their work which was fine but the attitude that they really didn't care about our house. We negotiated a small discount for the aggravation but it doesn't take away the frustration of having to deal with these problems...."Nando responded:"This house was empty while it was undergoing a renovation inside and out. Builders and a tiler worked inside while 5 painters worked outside stripping and repainting the exterior. Keith lives 3 doors away and checked the progress daily and made sure that everything was locked and activated the alarm. Terry made the mistake of leaving windows open due to painting late in the day. Keith, I'm glad to hear that you were happy with the painting work. I agree that there were times that Terry could have taken more care and he has been made aware of your concerns. 100%"Nando answered my email query within two hours, turned up exactly on time to quote, wrote the (very reasonable) quote on the spot. By the next day the start date and time had been arranged. The day before the job was due to start Nando came around with the painter (Brad) to explain to Brad what was required. Brad turned up on time the next morning - and every morning for the two weeks of the job. Each morning he told me what he expected to achieve that day, and each evening he had done it.… He was left in the house by himself every day, no worries there at all. Work quality was excellent. 100%"The job was to paint a 1980s lockwood house of aluminum using enamel undercoat on a coastal property.
These painters demonstrated excellant quality of work and care on a difficult surface and spent many hours on preparation. As i did not live there i was kept up to date with progress. The end product was great value for money,and i immediately received an offer to buy the house! it is not for sale. Thanks to Nando and his worker Benny.

He replied to my email within 24 hours and came to my home two days later to give me a quote. I was initially given a quote which was a bit higher than my budget. Nando was willing to negotiate the price, and even allowed me to pay the full amount on completion of the job, as I was awaiting an insurance payout.
The 2 painters who carried out the hard work were very polite and professional, and painted the outside of my 2 story… home within a week. The finish was top class and I received a number of positive comments on the colour that Nando had helped me choose.

D&R Painting is a local NZ owned company.
The owner has been painting in Auckland since 1995. All our painters take great pride in their work and committed to doing the best job possible.
* AUCKLAND WIDE we cover commercial and residential new work and repaints.
We paint houses to a very high standard and have painted more than 200 over the last 2 years. Some very recently so please get in contact if you wish to view!
COMMERCIAL: We paint NEW APARTMENT BOCKS and industrial properties. We have the teams that can take on any job.
What we do
INTERIORS:
* New apartments and houses: We combine spray painting with brush and roller to get a high standard of paint job that is serviceable.
*All our jobs are done in an efficient tidy manner using only premium washable paints. Our painters are friendly, tidy and helpful.
* We take great care of your property and treat it with respect. We use drop sheets and mask with tape and plastic to make sure everything is well protected from paint drops.
* We use low odor paints that are environmentally friendly.
* Plastering? No problem! we can do that also.
EXTERIORS:
* Plastered exteriors repainted with a high build acrylic. Silicone, masking and covering up are very important as well as the correct film built for protection.
*Weatherboards stripped back to bare timber where breaking down. This is very important for older houses and is sometimes even needed on the newer ones that have not had the correct primers applied when first painted.
If not done well the paint can bubble and crack due to new paint expanding and contracting. We can check your house and recommend what is best for your property.
