"Thank you Troy taking my call promptly and as relayed followed by a quick text requesting information. I requested a vehicle with 'hydro jets' and I was advised that the contractor would turn up in an hour and a half. I received a courtesy call from Matt letting me know he was on his way and estimated time of arrival. Matt turned up, met me and seemed polite and engaging, it was pitch black out, and i appreciated them working 'this' time of the day. I called Drain Ninja's as I had a plumber who turned up prior, with a plunger, despite requesting a vehicle with 'hydro jets'... It was obvious from feedback from Matt and co, that this was a substantial repair/ job. On completion Matt gave us a run through of the cause and remedial measures to minimise a repeat of this occurring. They then tidied up the area of waste and spread chemicals to address any unpleasant smells. Excuse the long review but we are VERY happy with the prompt service, polite interaction and knowledgeable. We highly recommend Drain Ninja's especially with it being 'the weekend'... we are now able to resume as normal. They also had a fixed price which clarified expectations on service and costings. The least one would expect when in a stressful situation as this. Thank you... I highly recommend Drain Ninja's and would definitely use their services should the opportunity arise."

"Drain Ninja completed 2 jobs on my property, unblocking a blocked and crusted filter unit, clearing the septic system and checking everthing was tidy before leaving. Both times the work was conducted in very wet weather by efficient and cheerful workers. "We dropped into Drain Ninjas end of the day. Troy was ready to leave but he dropped everything to listen to our drainage problem. He came out the next day to survey the problem and explained what he intended to do to solve the problem. He gave us an estimation of cost and explained what he would do to remedy the problem. He returned the next day while we were out and we found our problem solved on return home. Even cleaned some of the mess our problem was causing by staining house and path. We were totally gob smacked how he had fixed it! When the account to be paid arrived it was within the quote. "I chose Drain Ninjas to clear our blocked and smelly sewage drain because of the great feedback reviews I found on this site v the other supplier who had been suggested to me. I called Monday morning and was told they would come between 2 and 4 pm Monday 24th. In fact Darryl called at 1:15 and was here by 1:30 pm. He quickly identified what the problem was and completed the job very quickly and efficiently. The price was very reasonable. He also identified other remedial maintenance work that was needed and took photographs. So we are awaiting further communication and quotes re that job. HIghly recommended AAA+++"

"Drain Ninjas were professional and quick to respond. They advised that someone would be at my house to unblock the drain between 12-2 and someone would call me prior to arrival. That's exactly what they did. They guys arrived on site, whilst obeying the social distancing rule during level 3 lock-down. Explained to me what might be the cause and what they would do to fix it. They ensured all the possible causes had been checked and made sure water was flowing as it should. They cleaned the stairs where they accessed the pipes and also put disinfectant where waste water had come out from the gully trap. Would highly recommend Drain Ninjas."

"I just have to say these guys are awesome. Period.

We were in a bit of a pickle with our waste water drain completely clogged and unable to shower or wash the dishes. I got in touch with Troy and he sent his brother Shelby the next day. He showed up on time and immediately diagnosed the problem which was a huge root mass. Gave very good advice in a friendly manner when I asked questions. Did a highly commendable job and all our issues are now sorted.

Overall a top business and a top bloke! Will use them annually from now on. Highly recommend to others. Very reasonable prices too."

"In dispute. They gave a verbal quote about a year previously. It seemed reasonable. However there was no urgency at the time. In November I called them to come do the job, they said they'd have to come and requote, this time with a 3rd party drainlayer (this IS a drain company right?, doesn't appear so!). They then came back with a quote in excess of 4 times the original quote. I declined but now they are insisting on $250 payment for the requote. Total cowboys. Avoid."

"Troy and his team were amazing. We phoned Drain Ninjas first thing on a Monday morning. They were out at our house by lunchtime, unblocked the pipe and discovered the issue. "Overall experience was good.Technician was delayed at previous job which made him late for my job and I had to leave him as my booking was between 7h30 and 8 and only arrived at 8h50. When I called I was told they accept credit card for payment, and since I had to leave the technician and he said they will sent me an invoice I was told when I wanted to pay the invoice they cannot process a credit card payment I had to pay on the day if I want to pay by credit card. .Technician phoned me when he was done and gave me an update. Didnt take him long at all, very friendly and customer focus him and his helper. Overall good service"

"Sasha in the office was a pleasure to deal with. Incredibly helpful. Couldn't praise her enough. As for Troy and his team. They were FANTASTIC. Did a brilliant job. Turned up when they said they would. Kept me informed the whole time. Even worked on a weekend!!! They fixed our blocked drain and re-routed our plumbing under the house, as it was a much cheaper option, in the long run, than the alternative of up-rooting a driveway. Did what others couldn't. "Highly recommended. Fixed our blocked toilet in under 30 minutes - something a plumber couldn't achieve on repeat (and very expensive) visits. "Used Drain Ninjas for the second time in 2 years.
Absolute Ninjas. Sasha was lovely to deal with over the phone. After advising her of my blocked toilet drain and the urgency of being available today, she managed to get me a booking on the same afternoon.

Troy arrived onsite and immediately suspected the tree roots of Potukawa tree causing the issue. Used hydrojet from the vent on the roof. Used whip hose to punch through blockage then used root cutter to clear.
Troy very informative and also provided advise on what needs to be done in the future to stop this occuring.

Will definitely use them again.

"We had a blocked drain which caused sewer at the front of our property. We had watercare come and help but said it was a blocked drain on our property. Then 2 days later we had the same issue so called Drain Ninjas who were referred to us by a plumber. Thankfully they could come that morning, they were on time and quickly went to work. They sorted the blockage super quick, the blockage was actually not on our property so they called Watercare to log this issue and requested Watercare to come and check the main drain. Thankfully they helped me with this as the main drain was blocked so we would have had this issue again. I highly recommend this company and will totally use them again if we ever have another blocked drain. Amazing service!"

"We wanted to assess the drainage in our back yard prior to winter and because we are considering laying some concrete. We suspected drainage was not optimal. A plumber recommended Drain Ninjas. We required two visits, first was to flush the lines and second was for CCTV investigation. The information that Troy gave me after first visit I was able to read up on so that I understood better what the problem was (l learnt there is a lot more to drainage than pipes underground). Flushing the lines has helped drainage and CCTV on second visit gave us the answers that we required going forward with our plans. I found Drain Ninjas trustworthy and excellent to deal with. All communication was via email which was convenient and easy. I agree with all of the positive feedback already written."

"Finally a tradesman who is fabulous. I called. Troy actually came as planned. It was clear from the first interaction that he was genuine and knew what from what not. Troy identified the problem within seconds - believe that !! He tested. He checked GIS. The broken swer pipe, while on my property, is not mine to fix. Troy said he would not charge me for coming to id the problem. I only hope the outfit the neighbour gets to fix the broken sewer line is Troy's company. Troy even said he was available up to 7pm if I wanted to talk about it after talking to the neighbour. So refreshing to meet Troy who prided himself in telling me he owns the company."
