"We needed some urgent work done on a rental property. Morne was there within a very short time and assessed the work. He also checked the wiring and electrics throughout the house and found some issues where the wiring was non-compliant. He and James started work immediately and efficiently. All work was completed to a very high standard and they cleaned up after themselves and took away all the rubbish. I had used Gem-Spark previously for a small job and woud use them again anytime. "I had a problem with no hot water so I contacted the power board who then came out and advised me to contact an electrician as the circuit breaker was tripping at the meter board and I needed to get it looked at right away. I got in touch with Morne who came out at very short notice and he found that I needed a new element in my hot water cylinder. I also needed to get a plumber out to drain the hot water cylinder and Morne was willing to wait while I organised this. Morne then went out of his way to purchase and collect a new element which he then installed. I can't speak highly enough of Morne and James at Gem-Spark Electrical. Extremely professional service and a good price. I would rate Morne and Gem-Spark Electrical 100% and would definitely recommend this firm."

"The installation was to provide a few outdoor plugs and install a radiant heater panel to my outdoor deck which required running cables back to the distribution board via the ceiling void.
Morne did a fantastic job, a neat installation. He took time to plan the work so that all the cabling is concealed and looks like it was done as part of the original installation.
Great work, neat installation, good price and real gentleman. He comes highly recommended."

"These guys are fantastic!!! Morne did some work for me in December 2021, fixing switches and installing bathroom power point - a different electrician I had used in the past hadn't been able to find a solution to install it in my 1980s Lockwood home's bathroom but Morne came up with several awesome solutions. Morne took the pain out of it all!
On Tuesday (11th Jan 2022) came Tom replaced the whole electrical switch board in my house. Morne arrived with Tom and went through what we had discussed last year about it and left Tom to it. Both Morne and Tom have the same work fantastic work ethic -they arrive when they say they will, they work constantly and they work hard, they clean up, they are people I felt totally safe with and would happily leave them in the house without me being there in future. I will recommend Gem-Spark Electrical to everyone! I will 100% use them again. The best tradesmen I have ever dealt with!!"

"Hi,
Morne was referred to me by a friend and he has been awesome.
He was initially hired to install a couple of plugs, de activate some old lighting and rewire a area for our TV to hang. This job was done with ease and without fuss, leaving the finished outlook very satisfying.
I also picked his brain for some ideas about a new kitchen and bathroom.
He was hired and has completed half the work so far.
Re Wired the new bathroom lights, extractor fan, heated towel rail. Then i asked him to move the Power box from inside to the outside cavity. This was a big job which he handled without fuss easily.
Still to complete is the rewiring of the new kitchen space.
Ike i have mentioned, he is easy to talk with and discuss ideas, willing to do what is required and does not cut corners which is what it is about. I feel our house is much safer and future proof should we wish to do more renovations later.
