"Wow, what can I say a totally amazing service, Darren quoted the job, he knew that we needed the job to be completed early because of overseas guests arriving in the middle of winter for our sons wedding. Darren you have the dream team, you wouldn't know that they were even in your home. They arrived on time, and worked all day, with impeccable manners and respect. Their Fujitsu system is so quiet and heated the area its designed for brilliantly yesterday and im sure into the future. Everyone has come when they said they would. The installation team (the installers and the subcobtractors - a builder and electrician) were punctual, hard-working, solution-focussed, polite, considerate and friendly. One of our heatpumps had an error, and we also decided to service the other two.
Darren replied almost immediately, the quote was very reasonable, and these amazing people managed to schedule the servicing really quickly.
Joel, an incredible fellow, showed perfectly on time, did an amazing job - it appears that the heat pump wasn't broken, just too dusty. :) After a proper clean up, it was as good as new. Zero issues with servicing other heat pumps.

"Darren and his team assisted me mid-last year, when we moved into our new home, with 2 split units in the downstairs of the house. I requested quotes from many different companies, and Darren's professionalism and responsiveness was head and shoulders above the competition... "We didn't have the best experience with another heatpump company. They came around checking our rooms and gave me the impression of how difficult/tricky/lengthy/complicated the whole installation is, and how fast their heatpumps get sold-out so we gotta be quick. They came back with a quote which ofcourse went up the roof. Thanks to the local community group I got to know Happy Air Heatpumps. From the very first contact it was a very pleasant experience with this company. Darren was very friendly and quick to get hold off. At no point did he ever make me feel pressure about my decision. He didn't rush me through the process yet provided sufficient information. I felt confident in him and his team immediately. Came installation day the technicians arrived a wee bit later than scheduled but I was promptly informed my Happy Air's Yvonne. It was a very hot sunny day and the technicians still managed to do a beautiful job installing our heatpumps, with smiles on their faces. "After a few weeks of experiencing some very average to terrible customer service, I'm very pleased to say that it has been a wonderful experience working with Darren and his team.

We recently moved into a new house, which had no heat pumps, and I emailed Darren, along with a few other companies a few weeks before the move for some indicative quotes. Whilst the other companies were a bit vague, Darren went the extra mile and looked at dimensions and diagrams of the house which I sent him, and provided the most accurate solution he could, without actually visiting the property. Come move-in day, Darren was the only person I invited around, as I was so impressed with his effort, he discussed different options, and he stuck to his original quote, which we appreciated. The install was done neatly and promptly (while we weren't even at home), and the after-sale service has been fantastic! (I still haven't even had a follow-up from the other companies reps)

"Darren and the Happy Air Heat pump team helped us install two vented heat pump systems for us in Ellerslie.

From the outset Darren was knowledgeable and spoke in depth against our options, unlike a couple of competing companies that tried to push us to split systems which for the properties weren't well suited. His friendly attitude and ability to answer questions on the spot (and actually measuring and calculating spaces to size units) was reassuring.

With the COVID pandemic the supplies of the Mitsubishi heat pumps were delayed but he reassured us that when they arrived we would be top of the install list, and we were. The installs went smoothly across both properties, both completed within a day, the team were both friendly, tidy and professional.

There was a hiccup at one property that Darren rectified and sorted quickly, which demonstrates his value in providing good customer service.

Even though it is a competitive market, having the options of manufacturers, demonstrating their knowledge, ensuring things were 100% right and proper invoicing means we wouldn't hesitate in recommending happy air heat pump if you are looking for heating/cooling in the Auckland area."

"When I met Darren, he appeared to be a straight up and no nonsense, ethical tradie. I was not disappointed ! He went to our rental to fully service a couple of heat pumps and found a problem the tenants had not advised me of. He was able to fix it then 2 weeks later he quoted a heat pump in my own home at a reasonable price, turned up on the install day at the time arranged did the job swiftly and cleanly for me. "Darren and the team have just installed an Underfloor Ducted system heat pump 10Kw with 5 vents and 2 returns.
When they showed up it looked like the job was never going to end but Darren and the team made it happen in a very organised way from beginning to finish.
When job was done, me and my partner could not have been more happy.
Our home takes only 10min to warm up now. Best decision by far!

"I’d just like to take the time to recommend Darren from Happy Air Heat Pumps. We needed a heat pump for our small rental and chose Darren from reviews on No Cowboys. He was very prompt in contacting me once I send him an email. He undertook to get in contact with the tenant and organised quotes for three pumps which were very competitive. Once we decided to go with his company he again communicated well with our tenant to organise a time for the installation. The pump was installed, code of compliance supplied and the tenants instructed how to use and maintain the unit. "So we had Darren round to quote an installation of a HeatPump. He turned up on time and was super helpful with ideas on where to place the pump for best look and value for money. On the spot he quoted and followed through with a written quote.

As he is pretty busy there were a couple of install times available and we booked the weekend. Darren turned up on time and was really efficient - put away any rubbish. He is extremely tidy and the installation is very professional. At the end of the install ran us through operating the unit and tested before heading off . Got the invoice today and as per the quote. "I was put on to Darren through a friend who he’d already done work for. He installed a high wall heatpump in our family home.

I found him to be prompt with his communication and friendly and knowledgeable on his site visit when we discussed the installation options. He didn’t try to put the hard sell on for the most expensive model and we ended up getting a mid range price Fujitsu.

He turned up on time and did a tidy job of the installation. He called later (we weren’t home) to follow up and check everything was ok.

Would recommend to others."
