  "We moved into a new second hand property in July and decided we wanted ducted air con retro fitted (never an easy ask). I went to three local companies for a quote.

  Of the three companies that visited Hibiscus Heatpumps was the most knowledgeable, professional and really thought through how the job could be completed with minimum fuss while also coming in extremely cost effective for such a large job (2 story house).
  I cannot recommend Daniel and his team highly enough, they are… professional, polite and courteous the entire time they are in your home."

  "We are delighted and totally satisfied with the professional and efficient job of providing and installing a Mitsubishi heat pump Hibiscus Heatpumps and Air-conditioning have recently completed for us.

  I had two other heat pump 'specialists' quote before I contacted Daniel. Of the three he was the only potential supplier who listened to what we were trying to achieve and worked with us to develop a solution ... it wasn't a straightforward job.

  The other two companies made similar and… significantly more expensive proposals that would've been easier for them to install but would not have worked as well. On reflection it's apparent their priority was to maximise income, not provide an effective outcome for the customer.
  
  Karl and Adam performed the majority of the work installing the heatpump. They were quiet, pleasant, courteous, kept me informed of progress and did excellent work. They cleaned up after they'd finished and took away the rubbish.
  
  The system looks great and is working well.
  
  I have absolutely no hesitation in highly recommending Hibiscus Heatpumps and Air Conditioning."

  "I thought I had finished with writing reviews however the professional approach and technical knowledge shown by Daniel has encouraged me to write another.

  Our Toshiba heat pump failed and I called “Hibiscus heat pumps and airconditioning”. When Daniel came around he picked on the fault very quickly which was a faulty circuit board in the outside unit. Within a few days he came back with a new board and the unit was working again in an hour or so.

  Daniel has a friendly personality… and a dedication to customer service and I have no hesitation in recommending him to others."

After shopping around a bit found Hibiscus Heatpumps were price competitive and decided to go ahead. Installation was done well and workmanship was great only negative was the language of the workers and muddy mess left all over the deck which I had to clean up."

  "HBC Heatpumps installed a new (replacement) heat pump system in our house. Daniel and his men did a wonderful job. They were professional, communicated well and we knew exactly what they were going to do at all times. They used carpet protection where necessary, removed the old plant and disposed of it. The company quoted the cost and that was the final cost charged, I could not recommend the company more strongly."

  "This guy is a sweet talking lazy rip off merchant. Got him to diagnose my Air con as was not working. Came here and spent 1 hour total at the most. Charged $90/hr plus a service charge ? of $40 - so thats $130+gst to say that he didn't really know what the problem was. I took it into my own hands and got a new PC board sent to me as that was one possible problem. Contacted him to come put it in, and his response - get someone else to do it, I'm too busy. Be warned - he IS a cowboy."

  "Hi Paul, Customer service and satisfaction are of the utmost importance to us and we value our customers leaving constructive feedback, good or bad, so long as it is factual, valid and honest. We did offer you a date to replace the parts which you declined, and I left a message for you to return my call, I haven't heard back. I would like to add that you may not be aware of I had several conversations with the manufacturer of your heat pump after I left your place, regarding the very unusual symptoms you were experiencing and they had never heard of such a fault occurring before with their systems. I then inquired about parts, they advised they had no parts available to provide to repair your system. We offered them an old unit in our workshop which we could remove the parts from as a last resort option. However they did manage to source a new part for you in the end which is a good result. Our rates are extremely competitive considering myself and my team are fully qualified and experienced technicians. However I am sorry you have had a poor experience with us and we will ensure this confusion does not happen again. Regards, Daniel"

  "We had our heat pump installed 5 years ago and have been very pleased with it. Unluckily for us however we did strike a problem when the unit malfunctioned recently and as a result had to call Hibiscus Heatpumps and ask them to honor the 6 year warranty on the product.
  They did just that. Daniel came round in a timely manner and spent 2 and a half hours working thoroughly to find the fault. He eventually did and it turned out to be the relay board in the unit.
  Again in a timely fashion this… part was ordered and replaced at no cost. Daniel followed up a week later to check everything was again working okay which it was and has been.
  
  We often criticize poor business performance but rarely take the time to highlight good service.
  
  This was outstanding backup service from a very professional and high performing business and I would like to acknowledge this in this forum. Well done and we constantly recommend Hibiscus Heatpumps to those wanting to install units. However, they are so good at what they do I understand they are booked up, as they should be.

  "I was very impressed by this company who came promptly, worked in the rain and supplied the gas needed for my Heat pump. First he thoroughly checked the indoor and outdoor units to find reason for the gas level being so low. He obviously knew his job ( refrigeration engineer IQP Certified) and even fixed up a electric al cover which was found to be missing on the inside unit . He was able to discover one of the valves in the outside unit was not tightened correctly allowing the leak
  . I… contacted him after using Air Force One who had come and cleaned my unit but couldn't supply the " "non usual"gas to fill it for 2 weeks and warned me not to use the unit in the meantime (See my comments and rating on this company - real cowboys! and costing $150 for a poor job!)
  
  Daniel was cheerful and efficient but stated I was only one of many he had had to sort out after using the Force One company for servicing their units . The gas I had been told was not readily available, was bought by Daniel " off the shelf" and was one of the more common ones needed by heat pumps
  
  I would highly recommend Hibiscus Heat pumps for great service on the Hibiscus coast and will know where I can safely go when the unit needs it's annual check."

He knows what he's talking about and did a proper / accurate job of assesing the size of heatpump we required, his recomendations took into account his own product knowledge, my preferences and personal wants as well as what is nessaseary to get the job done.
