"I engaged Innohome to conduct a pre-purchase inspection of a 50-year-old brick dwelling. The online enquiry was simple and easy, Kevin's response to my request was swift and he was able to book the inspection promptly. Kevin attended at the time arranged.
I opted for a verbal report, then upgraded to a written report. Extremely thorough and attention to detail was impressive. Kevin provided a concise evaluation based on his visit and previous experience with this type of building construction.
The written report was well presented and written, easy to read and understand. The categories were useful, and I was able to determine what needed immediate attention and what could be attended to over time.
These reports are an investment and can save you grief and money. They allow you to understand the assets you are contemplating buying and make the purchase fully informed. As with many things, you will get what you pay for, and in my opinion, Innohome is value for money.

"Quality written report and great attention to detail. Kevin found two leaks in the house and one of them needed some work in one of the bathrooms. We were able to negotiate a price reduction with the vendors (we didn't get it at the end but bought the property anyway). It was good to know about these issues before we bought the property.

I was able to reach him over the phone after he has completed the job since bank needed some clarification around the repairs needed. Kevin was kind enough to go through it with me over the phone.

Based on our very urgent request with a very short notice, Kevin provided very speedy response. Arrived on time with perfect readiness of the equipment, the working process as well as the inspector himself. "I required a home inspection and searched home inspectors (http://www.nzibi.co.nz/) which were registered as well as cross-referenced for excellent feedback/ratings (using the nocowboys website) and came across Kevin and Innohome and was impressed by the level of service and included checks performed, particularly the thermal moisture testing which was part of the package and found 2 points of concern for us which was great.
Kevin responded to my emails within the same day and we had booked an inspection within a few days.
Kevin provided a comprehensive and easily to follow report with pictures including commentary and exec summary, all within 24 hours of the inspection. He gave frank feedback on the home and help explain if anything needed a professional opinion on i.e. should be addressed urgently by us to gain confidence in the property we were about to purchase.
