"Jonathan and his team did a complete renovation of the only bathroom in our house plus a separate toilet. Jonathan organised all the tradies very efficiently - electrician, shower installer, tiler - and the main job would have been finished in 2 weeks if not for the lockdown. Jonathan was very solicitous throughout, coming in regularly to check on progress, as well as being hands on with the plumbing work. His team were very handy, doing gibbing, gib stopping and replacing skirting etc. The work was performed to a high standard and we are very happy with our new bathroom and 2 new toilets. Jonathan was excellent at communicating and always told us what was happening next and when. When lockdown happened he immediately came in to connect the shower as an emergency situation as we had no washing facilities, doing this on his own initiative. He took great care of all the details and took care to make sure everything was done to our satisfaction. A small issue (which had been the responsibility of another tradie) was quickly rectified. All the guys were very pleasant to deal with; they also laid dust sheets every day to protect our flooring. The removal of rubbish at the end of the job was meticulous, too."

"Jonathan is our go-to plumber for any plumbing work or issues. The latest job involved the replacement of our old water cylinder and piping which had been enclosed into its own cupboard. The door frame of the cupboard had to be removed along with a small section of dry wall in order to extract the old cylinder and then restored again after fitting the new cylinder. Jonathan and his colleague Paul did an excellent job and were finished in just over half a day. This job was completed the day after I had intially contacted Jonathan about the problem. As always, fast, efficient and professional at a reasonable price. Thanks Guy's - a tricky job well done!"

"It may be seen to be slightly mean to not give 100% but I must always reserve the very unlikely possibility that time and use could reveal something.
A very old toilet (pan screwed in concrete) had to be replaced. The new one looks great and I was astonished that there was no mess at all and not even the slightest damage.
You would be hard pushed to find a faster plumber or more helpful and friendly people."

"Our hot water cylinder stopped working on a Saturday. I called 3 plumbers and Jonathan was the only one willing to help me. He had a full day of jobs but agreed to pop in and check what the issue was on his way to the next job. We needed a new one. :-( Jonathan managed to arrange a new one for us, went and picked it up from the supplier who was already closed but helped Jonathan out as a favour. Sunday morning Jonathan fitted us in and gave our family hot water before lunch time. He went above and beyond and we were extremely impressed with his service. Thank you for fitting us in to your already busy schedule."

"Jonathan came to install our new shower etc in our en-suite after we found it was leaking into the walls and framing that backed onto our lounge thanks to the previous cowboy who installed another new shower etc and tiled the shower and walls. I can't speak highly enough of Jonathan for many reasons. He arrived on time each visit, was very professional, efficient, meticulous, and very respectful. He showed us the water damage he found when he took the old jib off, and explained every thing with us before he did any work to rectify the leak. He also found the previous cowboy had just taped the pipes together which he quickly remedied to the required standard. Jonathan went above and beyond to help us and make us feel confident that our leaks were rectified which was much appreciated after our previous experience. I rate Jonathan as the best in terms of his work ethic, his approach to quality workmanship, communication and for being a really nice guy to deal with. Personally I won't bother to get quotes for the other jobs I need done, Jonathan will always be the man we will call because I trust him (not to mention he is very reasonable with his prices) Thank you Jonathan, I will definitely recommend you to anybody who needs your services. "I needed a plumber when I discovered water dripping off my roof which I suspected was from the hot water overflow pipe. I found Jonathon’s details after reading reviews on the nocowboys website and gave him a call on Wednesday. He was able to attend and take a look within a couple of hours but unfortunately it was not as simple as I had thought. I needed a new hot water cylinder as it was leaking under the house. Jonathon provided me with photos and committed to having a quote for a replacement with me by the end of the day. Once I accepted installation date was set for Saturday and Jonathon provided me with the name of the person who would be completing the work (David) and the time to expect him. David showed up right on schedule, answered my questions (I had no idea what the process involved) and then diligently went about completing his work. Within 3.5 hours it was all done. David was professional, friendly and polite. I would highly recommend JG Plumbing to others who are looking for a plumbing firm. They have provided me with outstanding service and workmanship within an incredibly quick time frame."

"Jonathan has worked on 2 of our properties now. Both times he was able to come assess for a quote within a day, and start work either immediately, or within a few days for a big job. He is able to work on gas piping and certify too which was very convenient. The first job we called him for was to remedy shoddy workmanship done by another plumber that was worked on three times. After we’d phoned Jonathon, he said he’d come around straight away, and he arrived within the hour. He then scheduled a time to replace our hot water cylinder, which was only a few days after that. He arrived on time, he protected the rugs with drop sheets and he fixed the problem well. (We needed extra support under the floor to hold the cylinder and Jonathon saw to this himself.) "We contacted 5 other plumbers and heard nothing back. Jonathan was the only one to respond and not only that he responded in less than 1 hour! He came out the next day, let us know what was needed and then went away and got the required parts. 2 days later he came back and fixed our shower in a really quick time frame. There was no mess and the quality of the job is excellent! The price was also very reasonable as well. "Jonathan kept me updated about his time of arrival at my house via calls and txts.

I am extremely pleased he quickly tracked down a problem (sewer smells) that other plumbers didn't bother to look at properly (but still charged me a call-out for). Jonathan also repaired my toilet that was continuously flushing - we had a good laugh when he found a huge spare part in the cistern that had been getting in the way! He gave me the option to improve the slow filling of my loos - the fill valve washers had completely broken. Now I have toilets that fill nice and quickly instead of making noise for ages. Wonderful!

Jonathan is my favourite plumber now and I will be booking with him if I need any other plumbing work done. I would recommend him to everyone, as he is very skilled and motivated."

"When I posted about my faulty gas fireplace, Jonathan responded with informed questions, advice, and sought clarification. He came when he said he would, checked all the possibilities and serviced the fireplace, got quotes for the required (scarce) part while he was there, and had ordered it before he left. he also kept me informed of the delivery status, and when it arrived he made a time to complete the job, as well as performing multiple safety tests (which as my boys stay with me meant a lot to me).
Jonathan is now my go-to-guy for any plumbing or gas work I might need."

"Jonathan was engaged to renovate our bathroom, ensuite and toilet. He installed 2 showers, a vanity and toilet. The work was performed to a high standard and we were pleased with the result. Jonathan was punctual, professional and good at communicating. He also overcame a couple of unforeseen issues no problem. He also responded quickly when we later had a kitchen leak (not caused by his work). All in all very pleased with his work and definitely would recommend to others."

"Jonathan came to do a quick fix to our gas cylinder first time so we could have hot water on that day. He recommened we need to change to a new cylinder from experience, We were planning to do later. then the second time hot water did not work. He came to fix free of charge as we told him we want to get a new one now. So he acted promptly to order one. the third time the hot water went off. Lucily Jonathan has already planned to come to work on Sunday. It was such a horrible wet Sunday in Auckland, but Jonathan work in the wet and get the job done so that we have hot water again. I am very grateful for the work he had done and highly recommend him to others."
