He is obviously a highly skilled builder (based on the finer details in the completed job), extremely professional (knows what he's doing, timely, cognisant of others time), and self driven (automatically takes care of the adjacent bits, easily missed). It's been too many years since I've had the pleasure of dealing with a AAA+ trades person who is easy to deal with, and got the job I wanted done nicely, to the tee.
Kelvin was recommended… to us by a third party I respect. So glad we met him.

A little difficult to pin Kelvin down to a start date, weather and because since Covid disruption, he has been so busy, but he kept us informed all the way. The initial job was to replace an internal… gutter flashing but when he removed the gutter we found two additional rusted flashing that had not being removed due to previous bad workmanship. 100%"I rang Kelvin after 5.30pm one evening, i was stuck neding a builder urgently to work with a plumber who was reinstalling a toilet and was limited on time to complete the job. Kelvin pulled over ( he was driving home ) to discuss this, and accepted the job even though he was busy with a renovation . It turned out the whole chimney was dangerous and leaking and needed to be pulled down below roof level, sealed and replacement roof tiles put in place. After travelling around the world it was time to settle down and Wellington was the chosen city (formally of North Otago). Wellington is a wonderful city to raise a family and building here in these elements can be challenging but that's what makes all our high quality, finished projects so satisfying.
