"Kenny and his team were recommended to us by another member of our whanau (family).

Kenny responded promptly to our request for a quotation and visited the site on time to meet my husband and I to talk through the job and our aspirations to have the work completed as soon as possible. A quotation was provided promptly and we organised for the work to be completed at the beginning of January.

Kenny and his team were onsite on time and consistently demonstrated excellent communication and customer service. They kept the site very tidy worked cooperatively with us.

When a scaffold was required to access a difficult area of our home, Kenny coordinated for this to be supplied, installed and packed down promptly following completion of the work.

I have not hesitation recommending Kenny and his team and wish them the very best in business."

"The latest paint job Kenny did for me was only a minor one in December 2024. He repainted a damaged door in one of my rental apartments. However, it deserves mentioning because at the time he had a broken arm and was officially out of action. He did a great job even with the handicap. This is the kind of service I’ve come to receive from him. I first employed Kenny in 2019 to match repaint two walls in one of the high-end apartments I own. The job was only small but the result was impressive, and I have used him for all my painting requirements since. Over the past four years he has done repaints on all seven of my rental apartments plus my own home, always with the same excellent result. I can confidently recommend Kenny to anybody who is requiring a quality paint job from a professional and reliable craftsman."

"We employed Kenny's Painting Crew to repaint almost the entire interior of a 250m2 house we were renovating. They elected to spray most of the job and at a first glance the job was acceptable but we had to get them back to re-paint the stair handrails and a couple of doors as they felt like sandpaper. The skirtings were sprayed without first sweeping the floors so lots of these were like sandpaper too. We paid the substantial price we had accepted, in full then as we completed the rest of the renovation we continued to find an amazing range of defects. Quite simply their preparation work on varnished doors that were to be painted was inadequate & a/ many of the doors are rough to touch & b/ the paint chips / rubs off with alarming ease. The prep work was simply crap in our opinion & nail holes & numerous other defects were simply painted straight over leaving a very average finish.
We have renovated lots of houses in the past 8 years and the real estate agent we use to buy & sell stated that she was quite embarrassed by the number of negative comments she received from potential buyers regarding the runs in the paint & the lack if finish in the paint job generally. We could certainly not recommend this painting crew to others & would certainly not use them again ourselves. In summary we would define their work as a real cowboy job!"
