He came out again, and we choose him, based on easy communication, reliable in appointments, and a fair price. He kept us well informed, which was important, because some neighbours had medical and physical issues. "This is the third time I have got Leigh to do a job for us; the first was excavating for a retaining wall, the second was for preparation to concrete our driveway, and the third was removing debris. That should say enough in itself, that we were more than happy with the results on every occasion. The retaining wall works real well, and looks good. The driveway looks superb. "Leigh was awesome to deal with from beginning to end. We needed a lot of old soft and hard landscaping removed and a permeable parking pad installed. The phone call, site visit, quote (which was very detailed) and scheduling all happened in a very timely manner. The Auckland weather created delays on Leigh's team starting the job but this was communicated well. The job was started and completed on schedule (the weather played its part) and we were super impressed by the teams tidiness, consideration of the neighbours and quality of the job. "Leigh repaired 2 retaining walls for us. It was a complex job because of the elevation and access, but he was quick to give a fair quote, clear communication and lovely to deal with. Jordy, his helper who was on site was fantastic. They finished on time, were respectful of neighbors and did a fabulous job. Would definitely recommend!"

"Leigh and his team (Jordy) really helped us out prior to Christmas. We had a pool being delivered and had a very short timeframe to have the earthworks done. Not only did Leigh fit us in his schedule but he and his team were excellent to deal with and very professional. We could have had an issue with some of the plumbing/drainage but Jordy was like a surgeon with the digger and prevented us from having a cost blowout with the work. They did an outstanding job, no complaints, no fuss and just were a pleasure to deal with. I would definitely recommend Leigh and the KiwiExcavate team."

"After numerous attempts to find a reliable earth moving company, I came across Leigh at Kiwi Excavate. We had a tight deadline to finish landscaping our house for sale. Although our job was small, Leigh fitted us in and worked to a budget we were happy with. Kiwi Excavate turned up on the day they said they would and at the arranged time. There was excellent communication from the first initial consultation, and on the day, the job was done to our requirements with no fuss and excellent workmanship.

"We used Kiwi Excavate to drill deep holes for us along a boundary wall for a large landscaping job. This property was tenanted so access was tricky and disturbance considerations needed to be given for the tenants. Leigh's team were professional, tidy and on time. "We engaged Leigh and his team to remove an existing driveway and path and also to remove another area out the back of our property ready for concrete. We had over 100m2 of concrete put into the new driveway, paths and back area. We are extremely happy with the finish. "Contacted Kiwi Excavate with a small job to remove a raised garden and smooth area for lawn, then to use some soil to fill and smooth an uneven piece of lawn.
Leigh came and gave a quote for the job and fitted it into his schedule within 3 weeks, the job was done quickly and very efficiently and then the final invoice came well under the original quote. Very pleased with the outcome."

"I met Leigh when he was fixing a slip for our neighbour. We were so impressed with the work that was done we asked him to undertake the same for us as we had also had a slip. He did this work and it looks great.
We then found another slip so had to get Leigh back again. This time it was a bit more of a challenge and involved him sourcing some product for us. Leigh did another amazing job in what was at times, difficult and dangerous.
He made us feel comfortable with his skill and ability, and his can do attitude, he kept us informed at all times, was on site when he said he would be, and always professional. He also took away left over rubble.
I have no hesitation whatsoever in recommending Leigh to anyone, he is an outstanding digger driver and person, who goes the extra mile."
