On Day One, Joe and his team arrived on time and at the end of the day (with the help of their digger) had removed all the old fence and bits of retaining wall, excavated back into the bank a bit, drilled all the… post holes and concreted in all the posts. On Day 2 Joe was running a bit late due to one of his team being away sick, but I was informed of this in advance. After he arrived, Joe and Javi installed all the retaining timber, the drainage pipe with sock, and crushed concrete drainage above. They then cleaned up the worksite before departure.

I have used Lakeside Landscapes three times now, and I will continue to do so. Joe is very charismatic and amenable to your suggestions, he keeps you informed, has all the expertise and gear to get the job done, and his prices are very reasonable."

This time they did what I would call a “deforestation” of our town house garden, which we don’t think had been touched since the 1980’s.

It looks awesome, our garden is now twice the size it was. And after the clear out the kids aren’t scared any more of the creatures that might be hiding in the… jungle!

As well as the clearance, they put up privacy screening, replaced a crumbling trellis fence over a dangerous drop with a new, safe version, edged some of the garden path so it looks really structured and built a sturdy level base for our spa pool, particularly impressive as there isn’t a flat section on our patio…

Joe and his team were polite and friendly 4 years ago, and still are today. Good communication too.

Such hard workers, got so much done in a short space of time. They did all the little things too like pulling out weeds they could see, and did a great clean up at the end of each day. They stripped and re planted our front garden, brought life into our side garden, beautiful retaining fence with big macrocapa slabs and grass edging.

WHAT LAKESIDE LANDSCAPES DID FOR US:
We recently purchased a run down house in Remuera. I had a full landscape plan from a designer and Joe has followed this exactly. Just some of the many things Joe and his team (he often had another guy with him) did for us included: Site clearing, pavers, full prep for artificial lawn, driveway repair,… planting, fence repair and more. Joe even provided his advice for a couple of little things he believed would make the site/planting even better which was a great help.

COMMUNICATION:

After speaking with Joe for the first time, he quickly arranged a time view my site. His communication was outstanding right from the very first phone call. He is quick to come back with texts/emails/calls and after doing a massive internal and external house renovation, I can assure you that it's rare to find good communicators these days!!!
