"I had previously contracted McIntosh Moorman to paint the exterior of my house and they did a fantastic job. After that job was finished, Raoul recommended that I get the roof painted within the next 12 months as he had noticed a bunch of rusting nails and fairly serious oxidation of the roof paint in general. So it was only natural that I contacted him a year later to get the roof painted, and just like my previous experience, I had another great experience working with Raoul. He was highly responsive to my emails and texts, gave helpful answers to the questions I had about his recommendations, was efficient yet thorough in his work, and always came on site with a positive and sunny disposition. He also honoured the quote for the roof paint job he had given me 12 months prior which I understand is longer than the normal period which quotes are valid for, which I really appreciated. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Raoul to anyone who is looking for a quality house painter."

"Well. Raoul and co painted our interior earlier this year, and have just completed external painting and roof. Once again, exceptional job, done cheerfully and with expertise. Very happy indeed with the outcome. Raoul was really helpful in terms of suggesting scaffolders, builders, etc also, and they did a wonderful job altogether of fixing up some very dodgy bits around the house and making it look beautiful again. "Raoul and his team worked tirelessly to ensure the interior of our 5 bedroom house was painted while we were away overseas for two weeks, and they finished before we returned, which was very much appreciated. They did an absolutely amazing and careful job - very impressed with the workmanship and attention to detail. Communication was great while we were away - we were sent photos and video of progress. It was wonderful to come back to a finished and freshened up house, and to know that we were able to trust Raoul to coordinate the entire job. He also had to deal site with builders, plasterers, electricians and carpet layers on our behalf, and we had feedback both from our neighbour and our electrician as to how nice the team were, and how much they cared about what they were doing. "Raoul did a great job in painting the exterior of our newly bought house in the North Shore which hadn’t been painted for 10+ years. He conducted a site visit to give us an accurate quote (and he was the only one out of the 3-4 contractors I had contacted who suggested doing a site visit for the quote, which I thought was a good start). His expertise and knowledge were evident from the get go and he was generous and informative with his advice throughout. He was also really responsive and detailed in his communications - and no question from me was too small for him as he always gave me a well-considered answer. Raoul’s work ethic was also impressive - he and his team really got stuck in once the painting began and they got the job done in less than a week. The job was also done to a high quality. It was also helpful that he had access to a scaffolding company who he liaised with for the job, as that was one less thing I had to worry about. I would recommend Raoul and his team to anyone."

"Choosing Raoul and Walter to repair and paint my old villa is one of my best decisions. The entire project was stress-free, Team McIntosh project managed so well, so that I did not need to worry anything while I was overseas. My villa was pretty tired, they repaired all the rotten timbers, did great preparation job, give color advise, considerations from customer prospective for saving money for Scaffolding hiring. "It was a good choice waiting for Raoul from McIntosh Moorman to complete my full house repaint. I originally enquired with him a year prior based on the positive feedback I had heard and gave him a call, and although his schedule was too full, he spent 10 minutes giving me tips & advice regarding all things painting after the completion of my renovation - I could tell he was passionate about getting a good job done on my property, even though he himself was too busy. I postponed the job for 12 months and enquired with him again and he was able to fit my job into his schedule.

One thing I appreciate when working with a builder or painter is one who has opinions and thoughts on the process and doesn't just take instructions. It was great to be able to discuss colours and what would look good, and the finish of the paint around the windows (matte vs glossier etc). Raouls wife is even a bit of a whizz on such decisions and Raoul was able to ask her 2cents when we were a bit unsure.

The process was as simple as can be. Raoul organised the full house wash, a full scaffolding wrap, and a builder to repair areas of rot that he had identified. It was great being able to tap into his own network of trusted tradesmen so I didn't need to waste time researching and booking scaffolding etc.

Raoul and Steve were great to have around our property for the 3 - 4 weeks the job took. Friendly, courteous, and accommodating to working around our schedule a few times since half the property is tenanted (and often worked night shifts). Raouls friendly and obedient small dog was a hit with my son who would ask every night if "the painting mans dog" will be visiting in the morning!

The paint job is impeccable. It is a 1912 weatherboard house that needed a bit of TLC, and now it looks amazing. People have already been saying how good of a job has been done, and it's only been completed for a few weeks!

"McIntosh Moorman, Raoul and Stu, but particularly Raoul, have done a wonderful job on the exterior of our very old villa. We had to battle the storms of Auckland and road slippage, which meant work was affected throughout, however Raoul went above and beyond to get a challenging job done. The final result is a beautifully restored exterior of a pre 1910 villa, I felt heard every step of the way and am beyond happy with the result. The paint job is immaculate and the colours look lovely. Thank you so much for all your efforts, I have already started to recommend you."

"Raoul painted the exterior of our house, which was desperately in need of painting, after having been left for way too long. We are delighted with the result! Raoul did a very thorough job prepping the house - sanding areas as needed, applying protective tape and coverings to the windows and making sure that everything was completed to a very high standard. "Raoul Mcintosh recently painted my house for me in Mt Albert, Auckland. This was a big undertaking as it involved double coating three different roofs,
the whole of the outside of my house, a double garage, a single garage and my front picket fence and gate. He was here painting every day and would always let me know if he was coming in later or not arriving that day because of bad weather.

"We were impressed by the excellent result achieved by Raoul and the team.
Our job was a complete interior repaint of an older house. Raoul and the team finished off the wallpaper stripping after I ran out of time (and did a better job of it than me) then went on to do the painting after that.

"This is the second home that Raoul has painted for us having completed our previous home around three years ago. This was a big job. We have an old 1890s villa which needed to be brought up to speed both inside and out after a decade of minimal upkeep.
Raoul did an absolutely brilliant job of keeping us informed throughout with regards to timing, cost and opportunities to consider alternative ways of achieving a great result. He is always looking for opportunities to save cost, which I don't need to point out is rare these days, and throughout the course of the work he was able to do so several times. When a very small number of problems surfaced he was quick to find cost effective solutions which maintained the integrity of the building and the job.
We now have a home that we are incredibly proud of after Raoul, Toby, and occasionally Tash (who also brought some spot on colour recommendations), worked their magic on the property.
I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Raoul. You won't be disappointed."

"Raoul and his team painted the exterior of our 1920's weatherboard villa and some small interior work. The house was in a bad state and required plenty of preparation and attention to detail. We are absolutely delighted with the final result. "Raoul has done two jobs for us on our 1918 bungalow.Both jobs were quite fiddly. We were thrilled with the work, nothing was too much trouble.
