"We urgently needed a drainage solution for our new swimming pool, which was getting trashed with debris from all the heavy rain this year. Henk came out, gave a cost effective and practical solution, and was able to complete the work as per initial quote and well ahead of schedule. "Wow what a great company. We have a one hundred year old house and the drainage was quite complex. They had to come out two times to sort it; however they stood by their work, gave us a credit and it has just held up against the biggest flash flooding event that Auckland has had for a few years. I am a senior project engineer / development manager I have been in the construction game for over 15 years and I have no qualms at all in recommending this company. "

"I had a water pump failure and rang Brian who put Meerkat Plumbing on to the job. Henk arrived promptly took the old pump away. brian rang to say it had coroded badly in the pump internal body, and suggeststed a multistage stainless pump, with a price.
I agreed and Henk was back in the afternoon and fitted it and test ran it. It worked perfectly and we had household water back on before nightfall. 100% service and delivery.
Well recommended, especially in the Dairy Flat, Silverdale area."

"Meerkat Plumbing came to my help at the time of Christmas 2021, when Fisher and Paykal has let us down with their pathetic service and response. We had bought a brand new french door fridge from Fisher and Paykal which we required to be installed by F&P technician on 22nd December. F&P ditched us by not sending anyone at their specified time, and didn't even bother to communicate with us. Later after persuading them, they said that it was impossible for them to arrange a technician… before 15th January. I have a 4 month young kid, so needed the fridge to be installed urgently.

I would always be thankful to Anita from Meerkat Plumbing who arranged couple of guys the very next morning to be there at our place. I can't remember the name of the guys, but their job was impeccable , and they were so prompt. They arrived on time, dragged the fridge to its right place in the house, and did the install in just 15 minutes - made it look so easy. :-)

Truly speaking, I can't thank them enough !!"

"It took me a while to get to writing this, I have have used Meerkat plumbing twice-once for the emergency case scenario of pipes bursting and ceiling being flooded. They came quickly and solved the issue. Got several quotes for a job and that's when I realised how reasonable Meerkats pricing was-it was half of what some other "respectable" businesses quoted! Both times there were different plumbers coming, but both were professional, punctual and friendly. Great company, just about to… ring them again and found this website. Will never use anyone else, as long as this business exists."

"Henk quoted to improve the drainage capacity of a soak pit. Good to deal with, happy to discuss options and explain why certain things were done to a novice like me. His team did a tidy job, came when they said they were going to, were happy to alter small parts of the job as they went, and were within the quoted budget. Not cheap nor the most expensive but you get what you pay for, and I am very happy with the outcome."

"Excellent service from the beginning to the end of the job. Very proficient, friendly and caring. In between the job Jordan came back at very short notice to replace a pipe in the wall that my husband had accidentally put a nail through (The pipe started to leak water). Jordan was very careful when the moving appliances and the toilet his work was of a high standard and nothing we asked of him was a problem. "
