"Marc is a trustworthy, reliable and good person who knows his stuff and can rectify many many situations.
Marc & his team undertook a major clean up and renovation of my property at very short notice.
They rectified 15 years accumulation of neglected home maintenance along with fixing and finishing many incomplete and shoddy diy projects.
Work included a complete kitchen replacement, cleaning and painting the interior and exterior including fencing and garage, repairing floors, doors and windows, exterior maintenance and landscaping, and loads of other jobs.
Nothing was too small or big or difficult for Marc & his team.
The end result after several weeks was a very well presented home that along with some invaluable help and feedback from Marcs contacts sold quickly in a terrible market.
Marc & his team had built & painted the fence and planter boxes for this property 11 years earlier & did an incredible job with no issues or fuss which made it a no-brainer to call on Marc for this project.

"If you want speed, I don’t recommend. Wanted Scotias in my house done & he didn’t bring power tools. Cut with a regular saw & hammered nails (which stick out so they’re obvious even when you try plaster & paint). Took 2 guys & 1 hour to only do some scotias on a beam & another small area under1.5m.
I wanted to hire a professional who would be able to get it done faster & nicer than I could cause I have burnt out from my renovation at home but ended up that I'm still going to have to do half the work I'd wanted done. Really dissappointed, upset & not worth the money."

"We got Marc and his team to re-clad our deck, put a small deck in, and concrete board under the house. They gave a good price, did a good job, and when some problems arose, they fixed what needed to be done. They also noticed some plumbing issues, and fixed them too."

"Marc recently completed three jobs for us - a path, fixing a gate, but the the third and biggest was putting in a bit of floor under our house. Judy and I were very pleased with the result. What a relief as I had held off because I wanted someone who was recommended. Marc was painstaking and worked out very well how to do the flooring. I had in mind 18 mms ply, but he said that thicker ply would better suit what I was trying to achieve. Having seen and tested the result, I am very glad I took his advice."

"Do NOT use Northshore Handyman for any form of painting. Northshore Handyman were recommended by our property manager however the standard of work is below average and our tenant even commented that they weren't interested and did a poor job. We've just used some painters for our house and they had to re-paint what Northshore Handyman had done - very very disappointing and a waste of money."

"Marc and Sharon done a great job on my house, from painting interior walls to reparing the deck and putting up and repairing fencing. "I would not recommend this business. The work was ok, but the guy was very unreliable, I repeatedly asked for him to do stuff and he wasn't bothered, I think I asked five times. Unfortunately he had my only set of keys to a job. At the end of the job he made travel out of town to collect the keys and he demanded payment before I get the keys back and could view the work done. Avoid this dithering clown"

"I selected Northshore Handymen from six contractors who visited my property (& a further three who thought they could quote accurately from a phone conversation).

The scope was to clear & mulch a very overgrown property border, install about 68m of timber fencing & lopping some very tall trees. I had specific requirements to ensure my very small dogs couldn't get under, over or around any part of the final fencing. I also have free ranging chickens that had to be kept within the property and out of harms way at all times during the project.

Marc and his team completed the project on time, on budget and exactly to specification. Variations were handled without fuss and they were considerate of my neighbours.
I had zero stress throughout their month on site, their rates are competitive and they are very experienced.

I've heard some contractor horror stories and Northshore Handymen are one of the good ones - what a relief."
