"Our original Tawa flooring had been slowly drying out since we renovated the house, with some of the cracks so wide you could see the underfloor insulation. Bruce and his team did an amazing job of sanding it back, filling the cracks and applying a matte polyurethane coating. It looks a million dollars! Great service, great price, no fuss. Very pleased and would recommend their service to others."

"Over the last few years we have had our wooden floors done a few times with the last time our floors peeled not long after being competed. After a year we decided to use a new company and contacted Bruce from Nortans Floorsanding. The whole experience has been amazing from the first visit, advice, staying in contact in the months leading up and even getting help to match some of our flooring that needed to be replaced right up the the completion. Our floors have never looked so great - we are… extremely happy. "Bruce and his team did a very good job removing glue, nails and some underlay, then sanding 3 times and polyurethaning 4 rooms and a hallway in our 50's house. We had to get this done in January when Bruce was very busy but fitted us in when another job was delayed. The results are outstanding even with a mixture of wood and look much better than slightly cheaper solution dyed nylon."

"What a great company!!! I made contact, they got back to me quickly. Came over the next day and inspected the work and gave recommendations. Didn't take off more of the timber than they needed to either (I've heard that some do - beware). Started the job within a couple of days and completed it (including applying the oil that we supplied) a couple of days later. "This was a sanding job on a newly laid floor - a very large area of thick boards that were not flat,a nd a smaller area upstairs - so all the equipment had ot be carried up and down stairs. The job these two men did was wonderful - the floor looks extraordinary and there was no disruption to our lives except some noise - the substances used ot seal the floor are non-toxic so we could keep living in our house. Both men were very polite, there was no damage or mess and they worked hard. I love… the new floors."

"I found Bruce just by Googling and checking his reviews on NoCowboys. Bruce came and gave me a competitive quote the first day after level 4 lockdown. He gave plenty of explanation of what he suggested doing and asked carefully what I wanted between the different spaces and the different types of floors.
He and his son and grandson started work a couple of days later. They were on time to meet me and they finished on the time advised. When I asked how progress was during the job, Bruce… responded quickly. The oak floors in particular came up like they were brand new.

We weren't sure of the type of look we wanted for our floor but Bruce was very helpful taking us through the potential options and sending us photos of previous jobs to help in our decision process. "Very impressed with the job we had done! We had Kauri floors that were orange in colour, stained into a beautiful dark walnut colour to make them look more modern and it looks fantastic! These guys were cheaper than the other 2 quotes I got and I knew they would do a good job as they came recommended!

"We had a disastrous job done on our floor with another company \"D\", we phoned Bruce and he and Mike came over asap and quoted a price to redo the entire job. They worked extremely hard to remove the poly and resand the entire floor and the end result is absolutely great. The floor is 40 years old and it looks like new. "Would highly recommend using Norton\'s and I would definitely use again. I agree with previous comments that it took me a few calls to get hold of Bruce. Figure that\'s because he\'s busy though and that\'s a good sign. He was so professional and offered us a cheaper option as the floors were in reasonable condition. He did the job very quickly which was a huge help to us and the finish was immaculate. Nice man so please persist with getting him on the phone! I believe that good tradesmen should be judged, not just by what they do, but how willing they are to make things right if they go wrong (as they inevitably do).
