"I read the No Cowboy reviews to find a contractor for our renovation project. As you can imagine, plenty of companies are out there, but we wanted someone who could be in our house while we were away and get the job done. Sasha is a kind person with patience to guide us through the flooring options, explaining the pros and cons of different flooring types. We decide to go with the laminate flooring over natural timber. Our small kids are racing bikes in the house, and the timber flooring is getting a lot of damage. The laminate floors he installed are much thicker and better quality than you can buy in Mitre10 or Bunnings. After a couple of years, we will remove the laminate and redo the floors when the kids are older. The results are fantastic, and we are happy to choose Panna Woodworks"

"After receiving several expensive estimates from contractors, we put off replacing our deteriorating deck for a long time. Our mutual friends introduced us to Sasha. The following week, he and his coworker showed up, looked at the situation, made suggestions about the scope of the work and the best materials to use, and got a quote right away. My husband and I were blown away with the quantity of detail and the precision with which the prices were broken down. Since high-quality materials and substantial labor went into the construction, we thought the pricing was more than fair. "Great job guys and so fast!!! Very happy with the outcome.

After service...when I discovered a bulge in the bamboo flooring, I contacted Panna Woodworks because I believed that this should be covered by the installer's guarantee. Although the bulge was not under any appliances and away from any water, I was told by them that it was not covered by their warranty. This is because the bathroom was close by as well as the fridge. The bulge is about 20cm in area and in the middle of the walkway and no other surrounding areas being affected despite being closer to the fridge or the bathroom. I could not disprove one way or the other, so at the time I let is go. Now with some reflection, I think Panna should have fixed this bulge because it is common for bamboo flooring to show this defect even when there is no moisture. I have been a landlord and home owner now for over 15 years, I feel really tired from working with contractors who should know better because that is what they do as their profession, but who continue to be sub-standard. It makes me feel powerless when I have spent a good money only to have a sub-standard end product and no way to get it rectified without further costs."

"Sasha did a marvellous job for my apartment involving the flooring in a kitchen renovation. This involved removing and infilling existing wooden flooring. It required 3 visits to work around other trades and the amount he asked me to pay him was so low that I insisted on raising the sum considerably.

"Sasha and Mike did an excellent job of sanding and coating our original rimu floors in the kitchen/dining area, then ripping up the old carpets in lounge, 2 bedrooms, stairs and entrance hall, and installing bamboo flooring that was a close match to the rimu. They went the extra mile to ensure that there was minimal disruption to the house, and finished on time and on budget.
