About us
Established in Wellington for over 20 years. Paradise Painting is an award winning company, recognised for Excellence in Construction, Trades, and Infrastructure by the Wellington Chamber of Commerce in 2023.
We are also a Master Painter and Dulux accredited painting and decorating company. We offer competitive painting and decorating services on all sized jobs in Wellington, including plastering, wall-papering, floor sanding and more.
We have a friendly team of approximately 20 talented and experienced painters, plasterers and decorators. We undertake small through to large residential and commercial projects.
Our standard guarantee is two years and we offer a Master Painters guarantee up to 5 years guarantee on agreed work
We are a member of Sitesafe and hazard co and take health and safety very seriously
What we do
Having a team of 20 staff means that we can tackle large and small jobs, and get through the work quickly.
We often receive compliments about how helpful, clean, tidy and friendly our team is.
Our contracts outline each step of the process whatever the scale of the job. This way the customer understands what they are getting for their money, and is also able to compare properly against any other quotes.
We carry out all interior/exterior painting work, plus gib-fixing, gib-stopping, plastering and floor sanding. We respect peoples homes and also their gardens etc. Paradise Painting Services carry's full public liability insurance.

"I had needed a bathroom ceiling painted which was pretty rough. I phone Marc at Paradise Painting Services as i had heard good things about their work. After my phone call, explaining to Marc what i was looking for and that i was keen to get the job finished within two weeks - Marc came around within two hours. He looked at the job and explained what was involved in terms of prepping and paint to use - which i found very helpful. That evening Marc emailed me a copy of his proposal which set out the work involved and the cost of the job - which I though was very reasonably priced considering the work involved. I accepted the quote - and the work was completed the following week to a very high standard. Plus team did a great job communicating through out the painting job on what was involved and when they expected to finish. Plus they left the bathroom in a very tidy stage after they completed the job. We are very please with the result - and would recommend Marc and his team for any paint job you may. "On the recommendation of a Tradie friend I contacted Marc, the owner of Paradise Painting Services, to obtain a quote to paint the interior windows and lounge ceiling at my parents’ home. Marc responded to my email request promptly. He visited the property to assess and discuss the work that was required. I was extremely impressed with Marc’s professionalism and extensive painting knowledge. I received an emailed quote with the scope of work, prices and terms and conditions the same day. The quote also covered the standard of work, health & safety, materials, clean-up, insurance and guarantee, all items that are important to a client.
The painting team arrived punctually each day. They were all courteous, respectful and skilled tradesmen, who worked well together as a team, and worked diligently until the job was completed. I was very impressed with the quality and standard of their workmanship. I’ll now be getting the team back in the summer to paint the outside of my parents’ home.

The men checked all painting between coats and did spot painting to cover several stubborn marks successfully. It was very helpful to have advice on how colours would behave if we opted for 2 shades lighter in the hall area - we're glad we didn't as we're thrilled with the outcome of our original choice. "We are really happy with the work that Marc’s team completed both inside & outside of our house. Communication throughout has been outstanding.
They use good quality paints & don’t mix any branded paints with inferior brands (which apparently you can get with cheaper companies).
Scaffolding was up & down really quickly too.
All painters from Paradise are always polite & respectful. Every day the site was left clean & safe so that we could keep the house functioning with 2 kids etc. I was also able to work from home uninterrupted even though they were inside & outside. "The very flaking and mould covered cedar weatherboards were long overdue for attention. Marc sent in his team, and organised the scaffolding for the double storey house. The result is splendid. We chose an oil stained red-brown with a sandy cream colour concrete foundation. The weather didn't allowed continuous work and in order to dodge the rainy days some of the team worked on Saturdays to make sure the work was completed in good time. "We had loads of north facing windows with flaking peeling paint and water making its way inside. Our toddler started showing interest in the paint flakes so we contacted Marc.
He got his team out to us within 2 weeks! They managed to restore our old windows beautifully, fast and with a smile. "My husband and I were very pleased with the work undertaken by Marc and his team. We have a split level house which required all painted surfaces painted, including doors. So it was agreed they would do the paint in two halves starting with upstairs (kitchen, family room, lounge, dining room, passage, extra toilet, wash house, bedroom and ensuite). "Marc and his team transformed my house in an extremely short time frame. I\'m and architect and demand high standards. His boys lead by Isaac know quality and how to systematically and efficiently carry out a exterior house painting job. I was very impressed by the process and speed of the work. While quick they did not cut corners and prepared the weatherboards back to bare timber where required. The team were not only efficient but clean and tidy and when gone it was almost like March had waved a magic wand and transformed my house."

"We found Paradise Painters to be punctual, reliable, trustworthy, polite and tidy. They cleaned up very well at the end of the job. They certainly provided value for money and managed to work within our rather tight deadlines. There was one small area that was forgotten: Marc never queried this but came back the next day and finished it to the same high standard as the rest of the job.
We found Marc to be incredibly professional - probably one of the 2-3 best tradespeople we have ever dealt with during two extensive renovations to our house over the past 20years. Marc was great using txting to keep us informed. We would definately use PP again and I am a little sorry I didn't get them to do more this time around. Time and international visitors prevented this.

"This job was weather dependent. Once conditions were suitable for a roof spray, this team of painters worked efficiently with little impact on the household.
