Prue and I could not have been happier with the professionalism and standard of the painting work which Rolando's Team carried out for us in March 2026. The boys were friendly and cooperative, and the completed job makes our home look clean and fresh again.
The job comprised, waterblast of the whole house, surface preparation of the timber facings (about half our home), under coat and two top coats. All done proficiently, with due respect for the property - eprecially the gardens and plantings surrounding our home.

I really appreciate the way Rolando managed the job. He frequently visited site to check his team’s progress and stayed on top of quality control as the work went, rather than leaving everything to a snag list at the end.

Even before his team was due to start, he touched base weekly to check overall progress, discuss any unforeseen holdups and confirm details. This organisation made it much easier to stay flexible with scheduling, which is often required on renovation projects.

He showed a genuine interest in the overall success of the job and worked collaboratively as part of the wider team.

"Our plastering job was became bigger than we first imagined when we realised (ourselves) that our ceiling also needed re plastering in a lot of areas. Rolando was more than happy to fit in the extra work to enable us to have our kitchen installed on time. We ended up having almost all our ceiling re plastered and the standard looks very good. We also had the ceiling primed and painted and a good job was done there too. There were a few minor touch ups to our wall plaster but Rolando was quick to send his man back to complete the job to our satisfaction. I cannot comment on his costs as we did not get any other quotes to compare to, as Rolando was recommended by our builder. A very pleasant man, along with his tradesmen and he went above and beyond to get the job done for us in a very short time span without compromising on quality."

"Rolando and his guys did a great job with a specialist product called "Concrete Effects" from Dulux on a couple of feature walls.

There's a real skill to applying this product which requires a combination of paint, plastering and artisan skills. We couldn't have been more pleased with the result, which reflects the quality and skill of their workmanship. Everybody that has seen the textured walls says what a great feature and looks stunning. And who did it!

In addition they were punctual, easy to deal with and the price was spot on for the work done. I would highly recommend Plastering & Services. Couldn't fault them!"

"Work completed was not of a good standard, loose gib paper not removed and tried to fill over, a mess really. Came back, I thought they were going to remove and redo, instead sanded and got dust all over our washing machine. For $632 for less than an hours work and the finish, we'll what a waste of money. I could have done better with a tub of filler from mitre 10"

"Very happy with the work done by Rolando and his team of painters, they did a great job and under the time that they first thought as well, communication throughout was also excellent. my only mistake was that I opted to supply my own paint as I could get a good buy price from Resene, the problem was that it was hard to calculate the amount required as from not knowing what the absorption would be like and I ended up with far too much leftover, so I would suggest to others to just let Rolando bill you for what he uses at the end of the job as he offered to me. so that was my fault, but at least I will have enough for the next time I get him around.

"The whole team were fantastic. We weren’t at home at all whilst the work was being done, but we were happy to leave them to it knowing that they were being respectful of our home. "My experience with Plastering and services was excellent especially when I had to organised everything from overseas. I found Rolando to be very good with keeping me up to date with what was happening through email, phone and chat messenger. I had the exterior of the house painted and a couple of rooms that had the wallpaper stripped, then plastered and painted. Rolando even organised for outside steps to be replaced. Everything was done in a timely professional manner and I was very happy when I went and looked at the place in February this year (2018), it looked fantastic.
So, I have no hesitations in recommending this company. Last of all, Rolando is a very polite person who always got back to me asap which made a difference I feel, as I felt comfortable working with this company from overseas. The only thing I can say is, they are a little bit pricey, but they did a fabulous job."
