"In the high winds of Oct '25, our overhead mains cable was blown down. Pluto's sparkies turned up punctually, and braved a 2-storey ladder climb in marginal conditions to reattach the cable, taking care to increase the purchase of the anchor bolt. The guys were very considerate of working inside and outside the house. Really, I can't think of anything they could have done better. The compliance certificate arrived very quickly, and the bill was very reasonable. Definitely highly recommended."

This is the second time my oven has committed electrical suicide, albeit this time it was a minor fix, and this is the second time that Pluto have exercised a degree of expertise that sorted things out pronto.

I don't know what the going rate for electrical work is, but based on their promptness, and efficiency, in getting things done, it's value for money in my book."

"I'm not usually one to leave online reviews, however, I was really impressed with the Tito at Pluto. He identified an issue with an earth junction that was outside the scope of this work I initially suggested and made sure that this was fixed before heading to the next job.

It would’ve been far easier to stay in scope, rather than crawl around in my ceiling cavity. I’m sure there are a lot of sparkys out there that wouldn’t bother doing this if they weren't specifically instructed to.

He was also a top notch communicator too and left me with a good sense of trust and confidence. Pretty stoked to get assurance around the safety of my house at the same time."

"The living room and kitchen lights went over the weekend. Replacing the fuses twice didn't sort it. Called Pluto first thing Monday and Laurence popped round the same afternoon. He diagnosed the issue quickly and replaced the old ceramic fittings on the fuse board with modern ones and sorted out a new outside light (which was the cause of the problem). This is the second time I've used Pluto...they're professional, efficient and friendly. The perfect combo. Very happy to recommend to everyone."

This time a more complex job replacing a Tesla Gen 2 wall charger (which Jerah had installed several years ago) with two Gen 3 wall charges, one in the garage and another outside which can charge by inter-leaving when two cars are charging at the same time.

While there they replaced a cracked hob and jumped straight into a tripped lighting circuit and got that sorted also.

"Both Jerah and Laurence are a pleasure to work with; however, Jan, on this occasion, wasn't upfront with all associated fixed costs for this contract. I should point out that this is the first time I have engaged an electrician, so I was unaware of a few things.

Jan had said they couldn't provide a quote because they were too busy, which I wasn't surprised about given the reviews here; however, I offered an online video that clearly showed the work required. Jan provided hourly rates for both Jerah and Laurence but failed to mention that they charge for travel time to and from the location, adding another hours worth of labour costs when combining both electricians billed hours. Jan also failed to mention a separate fixed vehicle cost and a fixed cost for an Electrical Certificate of Compliance.

Just some things I would have liked to have known before receiving the bill, so I hope if you are reading this, you find it helpful to know what to ask for when making an enquiry yourself."

"We were introduced to Wayan and his crew by our lighting designer. How lucky we were! It was a complicated job - installing in a new lighting layout on several floors including wiring/switches, handrails with LED strips, and bathroom ceiling fans/ducting. Wayan was so kind and helpful as we discussed all the changes, and he ordered the many new lights for us (a big saving!).

Our house’s existing wiring was not well installed, so it was quite a task to redo/add to. The whole process was a pleasure, and they were so professional. We have indoor cats, and all the guys were very careful to not let them out. Perhaps most impressive was how clean they were! We needed 70+ holes made in the gib across ceilings and walls, and they had a nifty bit of kit to cut the circles and collect all the dust in one go. Anything extra that was spilled was vacuumed and swept up completely before they went home each day. They saved all the gib cutouts so it was easy to cover the holes afterwards. They were so helpful and always went the extra mile to make sure things were perfect down to the tiniest detail.

We definitely will call on Pluto for all our future jobs. As new home owners, we are completely new to this world and feel really grateful to have found such excellent electricians. Wayan was especially careful with the budget, altering things where possible and Jan at the office was such a pleasure to deal with for invoices etc. Can’t recommend them enough!"

"Pluto Electrics was recommended to us by a real estate agent that we knew, as we needed a quote for rewiring a house that we were thinking about putting an offer on. And we're very happy we chose Pluto! Once we moved in we decided to go ahead and get Wayan and the team to carry out the rewiring work. There are a lot of great things about these guys that sets them apart from the others. They turned up on time, they got straight into work (it was all go from the minute they arrived). Wayan and the team worked really well together, there was good rapport, they were considerate and cleaned up along the way. There were some difficulties with accessing the wiring but Wayan and the guys managed to figure out solutions that limited the damage to the walls and ceilings. He communicated really well with us (and the team) during the whole process, giving us a heads up on progress and running things by us when needed. He was able to tackle a number of other electrical jobs for us along the way, and many times he came up with solutions on how things could be done better. He also knows some really lovely and skilled people that work in other trades that helped to complete the job to the standard we wanted, with minimal interruption to our lives. The other rare thing about Wayan is that he has a great design eye, so not only is he skilled in electrical work, he also has an understanding of what looks good. So important!! And also important is that Wayan and the team are genuine nice guys, that were great to have around. We will definitely be using Pluto Electrics again and can't rave about them enough."

They ended up spending about 2.5 hours at the house (it was a relatively time consuming job) and both Wayan and Tim were friendly, polite and professional the whole time (and were completely unphased by my large, enthusiastic dog).
